Fairmont Mara Safari Club

The pictures of this property do not do it justice! Situated on a pristine part of the Mara River, the safari starts right when you arrive, with hippos, crocodiles, monkeys, mongooses, and beautiful birds gathered around throughout the day. The game drives included in the stay were fabulous, and our expert driver Jonathan and intern Sadala were wonderful guides who were extremely knowledgeable about all the animals we saw. They also knew the best times of day and locations where animal encounters were most likely, meaning that we were able to have a minimum of one spectacular encounter per drive. I wish we had stayed for a longer time! The on-site tea & coffee service was much appreciated throughout the day. We were also quite pleased with the restaurant and bar offerings. Our server Leboo remembered our preferences and made us feel extremely welcomed. My husband and I travelled as a couple, but we hope to return once we have a family!

We visited the Mara resort this January. The staff extends utmost hospitality and always ready to help. The food choices are limited, but if told in advance, they can prepare as per you . The services for game drive , drivers, and arrangements for game drives in the morning, are really good. Area that needs improvement is that they should have a play zone or Entertainment area which could include indoor and outdoor activities for adults and children. Since we are locked in the property for the entire day, it’s better to keep these things to keep children and adults occupied. Mostly, the staff makes your stay comfortable.

The most special place on earth. This was my second time visiting the Fairmont Mara as I bought my partner to celebrate his 30th Birthday! The whole stay was nothing short of exceptional, with memories made to last a lifetime. The staff are beyond incredible and we wish to express our appreciation to all for how wonderful they looked after us and for the special touches for my partners birthday! We would like to give a special appreciation to Josphat our game driver, who has been my game driver for both stays and is now a very good friend! Also to Moses who is exceptional at what he does and never fails to bring a smile to your face. David for his amazing drinks behind the bar. Adan for the housekeeping of our room, he made a beautiful design for my partners birthday which was so special. Resian & Eddie on front of house were so lovely and kept us well informed of changes to our departure flights. George & Elizabeth on security made us smile every day as we left for our game drives. Also appreciation to Nancy and Mary for making a special effort towards making sure we had a wonderful stay. We cannot wait to come back again one day, we will miss this place and the staff incredibly!

I would give more then 5 stars if I could! the Fairmont Mara safari club was the most amazing place I have ever been to! Amazing game rides, saw all the big 5 animals, and our guide Henry was the absolute BEST!!! The food was immaculate with so many yummy options, we were totally stuffed after every meal because we had to try it all (and go back for seconds)! The rooms were incredible!! They are absolutely beautiful and cozy, and the people in charge of the rooms were the sweetest people, and so helpful and accommodating, they truly want you to have the best experience! Every worker went above and beyond to make sure you had everything you needed (or didn't even know you needed), and they were all so friendly and kind! I cannot recommend this place enough, it was the best experience, and I hope to go back!

My third time staying here. It was a perfect stay from start to finish. I love this place. The staff are amazing, friendly helpful happy, they catered to our group of 8. There was a table for us at every meal, they greeted us and made us felt special. The food was great, i just can't say enough about this place, truly a home away from home. |thank you thank you.|very comfortable tents with all the comforts of home, amazing views over the river. expertly kept manicured grounds, nice and quiet for sleeping, expect for the animals but hey we are roughing it. |excellent excellent!!!!

I’ve stayed at 22 Fairmonts around the world, and Fairmont Mara Safari Club is hands down my favourite. This property is something truly special.||||From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel cared for, welcomed, and genuinely spoiled. They have a way of making special happen. A heartfelt shout out to our guide, Lekoko, whose knowledge and passion made every game drive unforgettable, and to Moses, our wonderful server who took such great care of us throughout our stay.||||The facilities and grounds are beautiful with so many unique touches. The game drives were beyond incredible. We saw so much wildlife in such stunning settings. Moments we’ll replay in our minds for the rest of our lives. The Maasai Mara is truly magical.||||We also loved the spa, the peaceful hippo corner, and the view of the river right from the property. It’s such a serene and relaxing place to unwind between adventures. The food was excellent, and housekeeping was consistently on point.||||Everything exceeded our expectations. I’ll be telling everyone about this place, and I already find myself dreaming of returning. Absolutely the best hotel experience I’ve ever had.

The six nights from 25 to 31 December were truly some of the best days of my life, and I felt compelled to write and express my sincere gratitude. ||## Appreciation for the team ||Right from the time of booking, Brian and Wallace were extremely supportive and set the tone for a wonderful stay, and upon arrival the property immediately felt like **home**. Their warmth and efficiency made every interaction smooth and reassuring. ||The entire Food & Beverage team went above and beyond throughout our stay. Dennis, William, Chef Kapil, James and Kevin, along with Walter, Leebo, David, James, Moses, Mary, Philip, Valentine and Agnes, took immense care of us and somehow always managed to provide whatever food we were craving at any time, with impeccable service and genuine smiles. ||## Exceptional hospitality ||The camp itself is beautiful, but it is the people who truly make it a class apart. In fact, it is rare for me to say this, but I will miss the people here even more than the place. Every member of the team contributed to an atmosphere of warmth, care and effortless hospitality that made our stay very special.||The security team greeted us with such cheerful energy every time we went out for a drive, and that simple ritual really set the tone for each safari. Their presence was reassuring and their enthusiasm contagious. ||## Safari and game drives ||Our game driver, Jeremiah, is nothing short of a legend. His ability to spot animals from miles away and navigate to places no one else seemed to reach gave us some truly extraordinary sightings and memories from the Mara. His skill, patience and passion for the bush made every drive an experience to treasure.||Thanks to him, we enjoyed drives that were not only exciting but also deeply informative, and he played a huge part in making this trip the time of our lives. The game drives with Jeremiah will stay with us for a very long time. ||## Comfort and housekeeping ||The housekeeping team, led by Caleb and his colleagues, did an immensely impressive job throughout our stay. Twice a day they prepared our tent for relaxation, ensuring everything was perfectly in order and creating a comforting sense of being at **home** in the middle of the Mara. ||Their attention to detail, from turndown service to keeping everything spotless and cozy, added so much comfort after long game drives. It was clear they took great pride in their work, and it made a real difference to our overall experience.||## Special thanks and closing ||Steve was also a great support throughout our stay, always available, kind and helpful whenever we needed anything. His assistance, along with the efforts of every team member mentioned above, gave us countless good memories to take back with us. ||I am genuinely thankful to the entire Fairmont Mara Safari Club team for their remarkable hospitality and the many small and big gestures that made our trip so memorable. Had a wonderful stay. Food and service was great and the tents were luxurious. Highlight of the trip was obviously the safari drives, Dominic was the BEST guide.
