Udon Jubey

We visited Udon Jubey and absolutely loved it! 🍜 The food was served very quickly, everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked :especially the udon and tempura, light and crispy with amazing taste. We were with our 2-year-old daughter who was peacefully sleeping in her stroller, and the atmosphere was calm and comfortable, even though the restaurant was full during lunchtime. There’s also a quieter downstairs area if you prefer a more peaceful space. A wonderful spot for a delicious lunch in the heart of Paris we’ll definitely come back!

I’ve been coming here for over ten years, and it truly feels like an authentic izakaya in Japan. I always prefer sitting at the counter in front of the kitchen, it gives the most genuine experience. The dishes are authentically Japanese. My favorite is the hot udon with vegetable tempura, but everything on the menu is tasty. Be mindful of the opening hours, as they tend to close quite early, just like real Japanese places. The only downside is the lower ground floor, which feels less cozy and authentic compared to the main area.

I went there because it seemed they make their own noodles; the taste wasn’t bad, but the hygiene rating was zero. The place was small, so we went down to the basement, but the menu was sticky, and the tables and chairs felt old and sticky too, which I didn’t like. The food took a long time, though the tempura udon tasted fairly good, but as we left, I noticed the state of the ground, which I hadn’t seen before, and it made me think about the hygiene. If the taste and cleanliness matched, I think the place would be much more popular.

It was my sister's second time going to the hdon restaurant. The homemade udon noodles were indeed very chewy like she said they would be. We were seated in the basement, which wasn't very cosy, but the fresh quality if the food and warm service made up for it.

I love exploring new spots in Saint Anne, and this time my adventure led me to Udon Jubey. The udon was exceptional—the broth was rich and flavourful, perfectly complementing the noodles and meat. The crunchy lotus added a delightful texture. The staff was very friendly, adding to the overall dining experience.

Had a delicious meal of tempura - batter light and fluffy, vegetables and prawns perfectly cooked, sesame-scented rice really good, dipping sauce incredible. So good. Service was unobtrusive, efficient and nice. The place has a lovely calm feel.

Very disappointing place. Too basic eggplant Yakinasu, and tasteless beef Guydon. Seems like no japanese among the cooks. Crampy and humid basement. Prices are too high with low cost products. Avoid this place, nothing special really 👎🏼

This is the best Udon I have ever tried in Paris! It was just amazing! The perfect broth with combination of perfect noodles and amazing meat! Perfectly cooked egg to add your udon - really recommend it. We really enjoyed our time at this restaurant as also the staff of the restaurant was friendly, helpful and efficient. We are definitely coming back there and trying more from the wide selection.
