Definitely best in town with respect to hospitality, customer care and professionalism of staff members. Starting from check in to check out the experience was amazing and beautiful. At the front desk Ms Yolanda and Ms Scarlett is simply outstanding with their guest friendly approach and helpfulness. They simply deserve the above and beyond recognition. As a recognition of being an IHG member, they upgraded me to a junior Suite and it was simply superb. Recently renovated room with every aspects of the guests need has been taken care of.

I had a truly enjoyable stay at InterContinental Shanghai Jinjiang this time, and it was one of those experiences that made me feel genuinely relaxed and well taken care of.||I was pleasantly surprised at check-in when the hotel upgraded me to an open-plan suite. The room was spacious, bright, and very comfortable, with a well-thought-out layout. The open living and resting area worked perfectly whether I was relaxing, watching TV, or doing some light work. The bed was extremely comfortable and provided great sleep quality, and the bathroom was clean, spacious, and very well maintained. You can really feel the consistency and reliability of a classic high-end hotel brand.||The highlight of this stay was definitely the Executive Lounge. The lounge has a calm and elegant atmosphere, making it a great place to unwind or get some work done. Afternoon tea and the evening Happy Hour were both very enjoyable, with a good variety of food and drinks, all well presented and of good quality.||I would especially like to commend the Executive Lounge staff — Lily, Andrew, Arin, Yvonne, and Aveline. Their service was warm, attentive, and professional without being overbearing. They were proactive, remembered guest preferences, and always maintained a friendly and patient attitude. Their service truly enhanced the overall lounge experience and made me feel very welcome.||Overall, from the room upgrade to the excellent Executive Lounge service, this stay exceeded my expectations. Whether for business travel or a relaxing city stay, I would highly recommend InterContinental Shanghai Jinjiang, and I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Shanghai.

Rooms do not cool down in winter (hotel itself has positive pressure, so opening a window will not let cold air in, it will just draw from the hallway). A plus if you always feel cold. A negative if you run hot. Breakfast is decent (vastly better than majority of USA hotel breakfast), but primarily Asian cuisine offerings. The location is good, close to a mall, and hotel offers free shuttle 2x per day (space limited 12-14) to other 2 high demand areas. Recommend reserve shuttle space day prior.

Talking about the location and atmosphere is a vibrant one and lively. Location is nearby the metro station and convenient. The rooms are very good and lovely and beautiful. Thank you all for help. My bro Success from front desk helped me a lot of issues including internet access problems. Thank you a lot for such a service responsibly. Loved it . Will come again because of the value of money.

The hotel enjoys an excellent location, just a few minutes’ walk from Century Avenue Metro Station, making it extremely convenient to get anywhere. The facilities are impeccable.||What stands out most about this hotel is the warm, friendly, and genuinely welcoming service across all departments. Particularly impressive is the Executive Lounge, where the level of hospitality is truly first-class. Special praise goes to the gentlemanly York and Andrew, as well as the kind and gracious Ms. Arin, all of whom make guests feel truly at home.||This is by far one of the most worthwhile brand hotels to stay at in the Pudong area. The overall standard far exceeded expectations, and it is especially recommended for elite members, as the hotel demonstrates sincere commitment and faithfully delivers on elite membership benefits.

I didn't even realize this was the number 2 hotel in Shanghai when I booked this hotel, but it totally deserves the ranking. Everything and everyone is excellent. Fantastic food, room, team, location. I absolutely loved it here. Want to give highest praise to York, Andrew and Becky in the executive lounge. Convienent location to the metro. Fantastic attention to detail. Even the Christmas decorations would put western hotels to shame. I hate the overuse of the word amazing, but this property is amazing.

Intercontinental Pudong is a luxurious hotel, with superb services, excellent location, and a fabulous breakfast buffet. The only downside is that the hotel is somewhat aging and might use a renovation. However, we highly recommend it.

Well decorated lobby. Friendly front desk. Can feel the aging room. Spacious toilet but water pressure & temperature is disappointing. Breakfast is good with many variety. King bed is actually joint 2 single bed. Personal not worth the room rate. Complimentary welcome drink is + pt. Pool is too small to swim.
