Banyan Tree Bike Tours

My daughter and I did a fun bike tour with Banyan Tree tours. Very professional and friendly, and decent equipment and helmets too. I felt safe on the roads with the guides and they took some great pictures and videos with our phones too. We were grouped with a single rider and a larger family, a mixed group of ages and abilities and all seemed to enjoy the ride. It was great to get out of the touristy areas and we especially enjoyed biking through the rice paddies. The lunch was delicious, and we much appreciated the chilled bottled water. Would definitely recommend this group for anyone wanting to get out of Ubud and see more rural areas.

We had a great time with Bagi. He was friendly and very good company. His cycling trip was very well planned. We loved walking through the rice fields and cycling through lovely parts of rural Bali and villages. Our safety was his top priority. He led us while we also had someone behind to help us block traffic if we needed to cross the road. He ended the tour with a lovely Indonesian lunch at his lovely house. Would highly recommend this for a special take on Bali.

I had such a great experience on this bike tour!! Bagi the guide was amazing. The scenery is breathtaking, lots of different types of nature (rice paddies, tropical rainforest, a beautiful river), and then a wonderful cooked lunch. It’s a great way to enjoy the Balinese countryside. I would absolutely recommend!!

We had an amazing time on our biking tour! The scenery was beautiful, and we saw so many incredible sights along the way. Bagi was friendly and knowledgeable, sharing interesting facts and making sure we were all comfortable and having fun. The tour was well-organized, allowing us to explore at a perfect pace without feeling rushed. Each stop was more breathtaking than the last, and we truly enjoyed every moment. The best part was the food at the end—it was the best we've ever had! Delicious and the perfect way to end a fantastic day. Myself and 17 year old son had a brilliant time cycling with Bagi yesterday. We did the 'challenge' ride which was really fun.. we cycled through very peaceful paddy fields and villages with incredible views of the mountains. Just a couple of steep hills, but they were short! Bagi was so generous in sharing his knowledge, understanding and pride in the Balinese and Indonesian culture. It was incredible to understand more about rural life, religious beliefs and practices, farming and local wildlife, as we cycled through the extraordinary countryside. We ended with the most delicious meal cooked by Bagi's wife in his beautiful home. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this fantastic experience. We are very grateful to Bagi for an incredible day.

We had an absolutely amazing experience with Bagi & Banyan Bike Tours. We took the family tour with our three children, ages 10, 16, and 19. Everything about the experience was exceptional. We biked through stunning rice fields and along quiet village roads, with Bagi providing us with local insights- and delicious snacks- along the way. I’d worried about whether my 10 year old would tire, but Bagi carefully watched out for all of us, and a van carrying our stuff followed close behind so that we had an “out” if needed. But I needn’t have worried— we all loved the experience. Our tour ended at Bagi’s own home, where his wife served us an absolutely delicious lunch. We had such a great time- we hired Bagi for a driving tour around Ubud for the following day! If you’re looking to escape the bustle of Ubud and experience the beautiful Balinese countryside on a perfect bike ride with an amazing tour guide (and why wouldn’t you?), you can’t do better than Banyan.

Excellent bike tour. We did the tour with our three year old who was in a child seat at the back of the mountainbike. The views through the villages, forest and especially the rice fields were breathtaking. The guides take really good care of you, even making sure traffic stops when you have to cross the road. And the best part is that during the tour we encountered zero other tourists, which really contributes to the experience! Highly recommended!!
