This place surprises me, in the market, it has lots of variety of Asian food. The market offer fresh vegetables and fruits. Art and craft, clothing, paintings, collectibles toys. My favorite is the pinball machine. Lots of parking

We're now into the Summer time in Perth, Western Australia. The Noongars, the indigenous tribe of the southern region of WA, have their calendar seasons divided into 6, not four as in the western calendar. Best market to shop for vegetables and fruits. Great prices and super fresh. I wish that little upright piano will get a tune so pianist like us can share our passion with everyone

I came for the veggies, but stayed for Ching. Honestly, she’s a total showstopper—radiant, full of charm, and impossible not to notice. Picking out produce has never felt this fun—or this much like an experience you actually look forward to. Her stand is bursting with fresh, vibrant goodies, but let’s be real… the main attraction is Ching’s energy. I left with a basket full of fruits, a huge smile, and maybe a tiny crush. Stop by her stand—your day will instantly get brighter.

Thought would take a visit not been for a few years. Inside it was very warm no fans/aircon/breeze. Lots of empty shops. There was over priced 2nd hand items. One lady was dressing up her stall for the children but was snippy with my small grandson, but did chat to a lovely lady there. Purchased apples which were old and not crunchy. Very disappointing.

The food stalls are great. However, it seems that the market is in desperate need of a total make over. Everything looks old and tired, numerous shops are vacant and closed (likely affected by the pandemic?) and some areas of the market looks abandoned and dirty. The overall space has so much potential to be amazing but in its current state, if no renovation is done to uplift the place, it might lose its charm in time to come. The stalls that have remained are charming and they all sell a variety of goods as shown in the pictures. It was really nice walking through the market despite the empty spaces. I really hope the council for this market help them out with some rejuvenation.

Located on Prindiville drive off wanneroo road, close to all car yards. Same complex has Spudshed, fruit & veg shops, cafes and a plants nursery. On my visits many of the eatries were closed maybe due to less crowd. Lot of rare asian/subcontinent veggies are available which are hard to find elsewhere.

I really enjoy the Wanneroo Markets. But the standards can be variable. After years of shopping there I have decided quality and honesty provide peace of mind for the shopper and trader. The best green grocer stall I have found is on the western end of Wanneroo Market. It's run by three Afghan Australian brothers. They ethical, friendly and pleasant. Their vegetables and fruit are usually amongst the best. I've had a few problems with the quality and honesty of the other stalls along Traders Alley. If you choose your food their check the quality carefully and pay close attention to the actual cost you're charged at the till. The biggest stall sometimes tries to flog off substandard fruit or vegetables at the end of weekend trading. Double check and avoid the dodgy products. Cheap may mean rotten. The Afghan brothers produce has been consistently good in my experience.

Over the years I've been to Wanneroo Market, I've always bought the freshest fruits & veggies. As they only operate on Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays, freshness guaranteed!! Prices are definitely cheaper than major supermarkets. There are many fruit stalls to choose from. You may have a walkabout, checking out which vendor is your favorite. In the market, there's many stalls selling a various things from clothing to knick knacks. There are also many food stalls, Asian groceries, café, popcorn stall, bakery, subway, florist, organic fruits/veg stall & much much more. Yes it's not the nicest looking or cleanest market but a market is a market. It's not a posh place to be. If it is, expect posh prices as well. So come check it out yourself & I hope the previous reviews didn't scare you from visiting Wanneroo Market.

Not bad. Pretty much like all Markets really. Parking isn't too bad either. It's definitely a nice change from Freo Markets. Not so swamped and pushy.

I was North of the River for a change so I decided to pop down to the Wanneroo Markets. Now, I haven't been here since I was a child and I was hoping the place had retained its vibrant and eclectic feel. Boy... was I wrong. While the foodcourt and fresh food area was buzzing, the markets were absolutely dead and had such a sadness about it. The markets themselves seem quite rundown with many empty stalls. It's garishly painted and generally meh. The two stalls I really liked were the organic grocer and the Bonsai place. I don't think I will be visiting again any time soon unless it's for more bonsai.

Wanneroo Markets used to be one of THE places to visit when looking for quality produce at great prices. Somewhere along the line, this shifted until nowadays, Wanneroo Markets seems to be the place for producers to dump poor-quality stock. The prices remain very good - however, it's just not worth buying, for instance, a carton of mangoes when most of the fruit in the carton are obviously beyond the realms of "edible". The stalls at Wanneroo Market are, for the most part, sellers of cheap trinkets and toys. Wanneroo Market is a shadow of what it once was, and not worth the visit.

It has been many years since I had been to Wanneroo Markets. As a youngun we would go to the Markets and spend hours wandering through the stalls, talking to people and eating some form of overprocessed deep fried stuff they called food. It has lost most, actually all of it's former glory. Now it is dirty, drab and full of cheap crap. Even the fruit and vege was of questionable quality. Won't waste my time here again.

Wanneroo makets in my mind is primary a markets devoted to food framed by miscellaneous nick knacks, trinkets, music and clothing shops. Markets are my preferred shopping arena as they tend to contain a certain curiosity and personal touch that major shopping complexs just don't have. To my embarrassment, the first time I went to these markets I almost walked straight past them! (Evidently they are slightly smaller than I expected.) If you inten to go to these markets I would encourage you to think quality not quantity. The entrance is a small music shop with some guitars displayed outside and just after that is a cute little childrens shop displaying fairy dresses and small toys. Following this somewhat undefined path down into the "heart of the markets" as it is, there are several pop up stalls comprising of the usual market stall stuff. (jewellery, towels, coins, collectables etc) less local art and more imported souvenirs, which was a bit disappointing for me but the food stalls were amazing! The variety and the quality of the produce was great and while I grazed on bits and pieces, I shared a laugh with some of the til operators, purchasing a bag of tomatoes here and some basil there. As I journeyed through to the end I was happy to see that the best had been saved for last. The food court was the highlight of the markets! There is a cafeteria set up inside with an assortment of asian and western fast food, offering various healthy and not so healthy options. Upon ordering a traditional combination laksa, (*with chilli to add as I wished) I followed the music outside to the open courtyard where a local country folk band on centre stage played heartily away. They had a selection of 40-50+ year olds, who quickly exposed themselves as the bands' loyal groupies- this is based on the jovial banter, cheers, yee-has they exchanged. Unlike most markets Wanneroo markets operate the foodcourt and bar from Wednesday right through to Sunday. The "markets" themselves are open all day on Frida (9:00am - 5:00pm) with mainly just the food stalls open- and Sat and Sunday is when it's all on. Probably a good idea to check the website to check the scheduled entertinment as that is what makes these markets what they are.

As for how markets are it's alright. There is a good variety of things to look at and some specialty shops for gifts and things. There is a fruit and veg section down the side and a food court.

I am absolutely disgusted at the attitude of the present Wanneroo Markets Management. Sometime ago I called into the office to request permission to offer Organ Donor leaflets to shoppers, they were extremely obliging, and told me thete would be no problems, and whenever I see an area vacated by the previous vendor, I could use that until a new vendor is found. This new management, although aware that I'm a volunteer, are suggesting a rental agreement, I have no affiliation with any government body of business, and surviving on the basic pension, may I ask where they think I get the money to pay rent, I am not selling anything, I do not accept contributions, I am a %100 volunteer, I really thought I was doing a public service, Sorry management I doubt you will see me again. I just hope you or one of your loved ones doesn't need an organ. Thanks for nothing. Keith Eveson

Markets in general offer an ambience that differs to that of shopping centres; they may be a little grungy, however the whole fun of it is scrummaging through bits and pieces to find your personal favourites, definitely something for us bargain hunters. Wanneroo markets provides such a culture but is known for its quality fruit and veg produce. They have heaps of variety and heaps of stock so you don't have to worry about getting the last scraps that everyone else avoids. In the peak of summer Wanneroo markets are blossoming with my all time favourites: fresh strawberries and mangos and the perfect ingredients for a snazzy salad or tasty stir fry.

These markets have become old, run down and full of cheap stuff that no one really wants or needs. Gone are the days where you could buy lots of cheap, local and high quality fruit and vege or wander through quality stores with quality products. This place is well past its prime. Not sure how it keeps going. It needs some serious renovations and rebranding. If you want markets, best you check out Malaga or Fremantle, than waste your time here.

Some people expect a place to never change. Well it has. In the day and age of Sunday trading there is much more for a market to compete with. So it might not look as busy as you remember it, but the quality of vendors has significantly gone up! Wanneroo is one of the biggest markets in Perth. A huge variety of shops and the best part, you don't have to squeeze in like sardines like at Fremantle market (because they rent out every last little bit of space to make a dollar rather than have room for patrons). You got a pram or wheelchair, no problem! There is plenty of room for EVERYONE! I counted over 20 places to eat!!!!! The bar has been extended now with a sports bar area with pool tables and dart boards and such. Live bands playing on weekends. Free bouncy castle every day and free face painting on Friday mornings. The shops have loads of awesome unique stuff! Gone are the days of imported junk. These are fine businesses that would well and truly be of the level of mainstream shopping malls. There is 3... that's right 3... large fresh produce traders along with an organic shop with fresh produce. A fishery, a couple of international food marts, a couple of coffee shops, hair salons, beautician, massage and acupuncture, artists and more! You really need to set aside a few hours if you want to have a good look around and stop for a bite to eat. THE BEST AUTHENTIC ASIAN CUISINES of all types can be found there! Plus some mouthwatering western eateries. Don't go based on what some stupid friend of yours thought, come and look for yourself. People complain that there are a few empty shops. Well gee so does Joondalup shopping centre! It's harder to fill a LARGE complex!!!
