Nikkole made our entire evening. Her presence behind the bar, knowledge about the taps and suggestions were on point. My partner had the wings and they were next to none, crispy on the outside, well sauced and still juicy. The vibe is fun, lively and the DJ is a great touch. Highly recommend checking out this gem you won’t be disappointed!

Terrible service, bartender denied both me and a friend due to our “ids” even though we’re both 23. For context we each had a Maine and South Carolina ID as we were here for vacation. For what ever reason you look below the age of 30 I would avoid this place as they seem to enjoy denying valid state ids. Go ti Raw bar instead. Much better service

First time here, we were on the strip and decided to stop in. They have some seating outside, plenty of indoor seating. Staff is nice, they serve food and drinks. The have a large tap list, good beer. You can smoke cigars outside while drinking your beer. Chill environment, i would definitely return.

Well it is Ybor so just keep that in mind. Our server was good, friendly. She was running it all by herself, seats & the bar plus tables but handled it like a boss! Huge list of beers which is a fun opportunity to try something new. Food was very yummy, looove the Impossible Nachos! The whole place is just a little dirty & could use a good scrub down. Overall a great visit & we'll definitely be back.

Great beer selection, but I was shocked when I received my bill with a mandatory 35% "ordering fee" tacked on. My $9 beer became $12.88 with tax & the "fee". Really?

Came here on a Saturday night for a drink. Lowkey chill spots. Variety of seating inside and outside. The DJ was awesome! Service was awesome! The bartenders were gre I ordered a Surfside Ice Tea and Lemonade. Super good. Next time hoping the have the SunnyD drink.

Ybor City Tap House is right in the heart of Ybor, and it's got that classic bar vibe with a great selection of beers and a food menu that looks really tempting. Although I didn't get a chance to try the food, everything I saw being served looked delicious. The place has both indoor and outdoor seating, and even though it was pretty busy, the service was still really attentive. Overall, it was a good time, and I'm definitely planning to go back--next time, I'll make sure to try the food!

GET READY FOR FULL ON CLUB VIBES! I'm talking BUMPIN'! BOOMIN'! Straight up GROOVIN' at 6pm on a Sunday. I certainly was not expecting for things to get so rowdy but I guess that's what happens when football is on! Regardless, the staff was on point!! Everything was done quick, fast, and in a hurry! We were probably in and out with drinks, an app and an entree within 45 minutes. It was a fun time with delicious food and if we are ever back in Ybor we will definitely stop in here again!

We met some friends from out of town here for lunch. We have been here before and they do not disappoint! All the BEER!!! Today we had an IPA and shared a Buffalo Chicken Flatbread Pizza (Mike posted pics). The pizza was perfect for 2...not to big, not to small. (rectangle) About 3 or 4 small squares each. The Chicken and its saucy topping were flavorful and the crust was crisp! (I hate soggy crust) I ordered sour cream and jalapenos on the side. Not a single crumb left on our plates! Service is always helpful and they let you sample beers before you choose. Waitress was kind and help our friends make choices. I love the atmosphere here! Warm and cozy with a casual darker lounge vibe. Ample seating at the bar or tables. We sat in the window (which was open because it was a sunny day) so we could people, and chicken watch. LOL

Drinks are expensive and service is awful. You self seat yourself and it took our server 10 mins to give us a menu. After she took our orders (two beers), it took another 15-20 minutes to serve. Mind you it's Saturday but it's only 1pm. The beers arrived cold and so we decided to cash out. There was an automatic 20% gratuity added to our bill (which was not disclosed) so all together, our two beers came out to $19. Not worth it.

A nice little bar spot in Ybor. They serve your typical bar food and offer a dimly lit environment like expected. The location of this place is amazing, right in the middle of Ybor and the open patio/window they have is really nice to be able to see what is going on outside. I had the fish and chips, and my friend had the wings. The wings were the perfect size and their Taphouse sauce was super yummy! No complaints.

Went here today looking for some lunch and a beer. The beer was Belgium from Samford brewing and was amazing . Our server was very busy but kept our drinks full and checked on us regularly. The bar was small but nicely laid out and had a steady stream of people coming and going while we were there. I have a feeling this place would be hopping on the weekends. I took a star because the burger was not good. Way over cooked and not served on a brioche bun as the description said. Overall I would come back but for a beer not the food.

We stopped for lunch on a Thursday and found it to be very empty. The fans were blowing like crazy so it was soooooo cold. I couldn't sample any of the beer as I had an appointment, but I am looking forward to returning and sampling a few. The menu is very small, but we wanted something light and tacos sounded like the perfect choice. Service was pretty decent as there was only one person working the whole place. Our tacos arrived quickly and they were delicious. Although I did ask for corn tortilla, I got wheat, but they were still good. The chicken was tasty and there were red peppers and a nice cheese, which made for the perfect taco.

Great spot to drop in. Clean bar/tables and friendly staff. Very helpful in suggestions. We didn't have any food but the menu looked nice.

Love coming here before a Bolts game (Amalie is just a few minutes away). Their flatbeds are super tasty, and their beer selection is hard to beat (bring back the juice lord!!). Bartenders are knowledgeable and efficient. There when you need em, not lingering around us when we don't. Def one of our go to places when in Ybor!

We stopped in to enjoy the great atmosphere and drinks with. With are bartender Liz she was great company and can make the best mojito in Ybor city!!!!!!

I came in with my Sister -in- law after getting tattoos for some nachos and a cocktail. It was pretty empty with 2 girls working. The bartender- not friendly and the server - also not friendly. The nachos were..ok. When the bill came .. the girl dropped it and failed to mention she added a 20% tip . I looked on the menu to see if it states this.. and the menu says "20% gratuity may be added to your bill" May?? So.. does that mean the server can add gratuity to whomever she/he feels like it ? I've never heard of gratuity added to a party of 2 . It felt like we were treated like Julia Robert's in Pretty Woman when she walked into the high end store. Only this is a pub! The bill was $42 with a $6 tip included. This girl was trying to scam us for another 20% (I've been a waitress for years and this is the least I tip) I find this offensive and rude. The menu wording should be changed so it's more clear and not so discriminating.

We usually stop at Ybor City Tap House to grab a cold beer and people-watch. They have quite a selection of draft beer, including local breweries we like. The service although sometimes slow due to heavy traffic is always friendly. Their food choices vary from Flatbread to salads. We love their Caprese Flatbread and Chicken Wings. We truly enjoy the time we spend at Ybor Tap House, the ambiance is dynamic and fun!

Chicken Nachos were so great Atmosphere was great. Restaurant/Bar was very clean Staff was very welcoming! Liz the bartender was amazing

Bar in Ybor city which we hit before going to the improv. Average looking bar scene. Seemed like a decent place to go with ok service. The alcohol drinks were not impressive, the beer was cold. Wings weren't impressive at all either, couldn't figure out the flavor on the tap sauce. Which was supposedly an Asian hot sauce mix. Pretzels were good as was the potato skins. A friend had tacos but the tortillas were so dry they just broke apart. Also for the ground beef in the taco they just took a burger and cut it up. If that's the way it is put that on the menu. They were soft flour tortillas at least they were supposed to be. No rave reviews from anyone at the table. Will not be back unless I am just grabbing a beer.

They have an absolutely amazing list of craft beers. I am posting a picture of the menu. This is the best place to people watch. Sit inside and face Ybor. Watch the world go bye. The food is pretty tasty too! The staff, especially Liz is super friendly and very knowledgeable on the beers on tap.

We had the best time here last Friday afternoon! Sat at the bar and ordered some beer, but the bartender made other recommendations that we ended up really enjoying. I wish I had written down their name to give a better shout out because we had excellent service the whole time we were there - they even overheard my husband talking to me about his low blood sugar and came right over with a sweet drink to help him out without us even asking. I was so impressed and this has become our new favorite spot in Ybor.

Great place to catch a football game! Perfect after a night out...I was craving wings and things and they had it all. We ordered pepperoni flatbread, wings (blackened dry & buffalo) and loaded waffle fries. Everything was great although my personal favorite were those delicious blackened dry wings!! We were in a hurry so I didn't grab a beer but -oh boy- did they have a selection!! The taps extended almost the entire bar!! And service was superb...the waitress was very attentive and we were never left wanting anything. We will definitely be returning.

Could not have loved it here anymore if I tried! Came around 3:00 on a Friday afternoon and there were plenty of seats at the bar but the place was filling up quickly. I see why. The choices are endless. There is something for everyone here. Plus they have a full bar. There is really nothing more you could ask for. I tried the strawberry shortcake cider and oh my God it was the best drink I've ever had....EVER!!!!! They also serve food which is a plus! The bartender was fantastic and kept the bar in check and even had time to chat with us for a little bit! Highly recommend and will definitely return when I'm in Ybor!

In Ybor for Tampa International Fringe Festival and as close by venue, stopped in for a beer. Their beer selection is impressive, and the bartender was very personable and offered me small samples to try. Although I didn't order food, others there did, and it looked good. The location is right next to Centro Ybor, and has an open window front for people watching on 7th Street.

Friday early evening. Was in a bit of a hurry. Bartender Ryan was incredible. Knew exactly what to recommend for a quick bite, knew exactly what to recommend for a quick pint. I've walked by Ybor City Tap House a hundred times, but so long as Ryan is working the bar I'll stop in again and again. My new favorite bartender in Ybor.

Meh I can't say I'd recommend this place. The chicken sandwich wasn't too flavorful, and the Brussels sprouts could have been sautéed a bit longer with a little more seasoning. The service was not great, and they only had one waitress working the entire restaurant. Maybe a better option for drinks, but I'd pass on the food.

Food was fine. Drink service was fantastic. There were maybe 8 people in the entire place on a Saturday night. Paid my bill and tipped 33% then saw once I got home that they added a 20% service charge. This was for a table of one.

If you're going to be mad and roll your eyes that your party only orders drinks, I suggest you find somewhere else to serve. Business is business, sorry the 20% tip would've been low regardless but our server (didn't say her name) brought it down to about 15% which is very unfortunate for her. I love tipping, but when people act as if they deserve it then fail to present hospitality, you're not gonna get it. faces, lack of service, and attitude say a lot about a person

First, let me say that I rarely rate anything highly in Ybor. I genuinely get annoyed at the scene down there past 8pm. That being said, this tap house has decent food, and specious outdoor seating. There was a HUGE assortment of drinks and you're sure to find something that you like. I had the Berry Jam Cider (a recommendation from my waitress) and it was REALLY good. The waitstaff took a while to notice I had sat down, but I was waiting for someone and specifically took a seat tucked away, so totally not their fault! Once they noticed me they were incredibly attentive and on top of everything. I had the fish and chips which were supposed to come with waffle fries but came with potato chips. Apparently they were out of Waffle fries, no big! But the option for regular fries would have been nice. (I don't really eat chips) All together not a bad trip until drunk dudes started randomly sitting down at my table and trying to butt into the conversation that my friend and I were having!

Best burger and Green Tea shot I've had in ages. Lots of beers to choose from. Friendly staff. Would definitely recommend.

The strongest Bottomless Mimosas I've ever had. Tasted like 75% champagne!! Awesome for Sunday Football games. Yummy nachos. Will def come back!

Terrible food. First of all, we had to wait an hour for our food and the fries were cold so sent them back. One bite into my chicken sandwich and the chicken was cold. The server was apologetic but still, not a good experience. Won't go back

After finding a hair in our nachos, they still tried to charge us for them. We actually got accused of the hair being ours. After much negotiation, they did finally take them off of our bill begrudgingly because they were "understaffed". They then proceeded to charge us 20% gratuity automatically on the tab without notification. Do not recommend unless you're looking to eat someone else's DNA, spend too much of your time defending yourself, and then pay 20% gratuity for it.

The WORST bar! We came in from out of state and the bartender denied us with REAL IDs from Minnesota ! He was not nice about it at all and refused to look at anyone else's IDs in the group. We were so excited to be downtown and experience Ybor City but this restaurant ruined our excitement. I DO NOT recommend if you come from out of state !!!

This was a cool stop in Ybor City, pretty standard bar situation. The music is played pretty loud, so probably best to make this pit stop if you're feeling pretty good and want to continue the party. Although if you need a snack they doo have a food menu. They have a large beer selection and also serve a lot of cocktails/fruity drinks. It's a great spot for a bachelorette party. They have a garage door style opening part of the bar so you can sit and drink and be part of the street life happening. On the menu they make it a point to italicize the beers from breweries local to the Tampa area, which I thought was really cool. Beer of choice: Hidden Springs, Zero F***s Given Zero IBU Pale Ale - Not too hoppy, light and crisp, maybe a citrus finish on the back-end?

The windows on the street gave an excellent people watching spot and view of central Ybor. The food took a while to get but it was good once it arrived. The Nachos were excellent. I had the Ybor burger and it was quite good. Overall it was a good place to visit.

Came in on a Saturday night with the hockey game playing. It was very lively in here but found seating at the bar. We ordered chicken nachos and Mac n cheese to split. Both were very yummy and would definitely get again! I had a Rekorderlig cider and it was very good, my man had a stout that he enjoyed. Overall, would return!

Pretty good Brass Tap location that is in Centro Ybor (below the former Hamburger Mary's). It's a nice open air location in which you can sit at an indoor bar, high top table or at the front window to people watch. Parking is easy because it is one block away from the parking garage (pay by the hour). They usually have a decent draft selection and hold tapping events along with other special events. They serve cocktails as well. The food is pretty good, although the menu isn't super large. On Saturdays & Sundays they have $15 bottomless mimosas. Overall, a nice place to stop with friends and have a drink or two in the heart of Ybor.

Nachos are more than for 2... great selection of beers. The "Tides" porter is excellent. Service was the best!

i was very pleased with the the food and atmosphere! Nena is very sweet and friendly and makes you very comfortable. My first night there was to watch LSU and Florida for the Championship game and was glad I picked Tap House. (June)

I really hate to be the Karen of reviews right now but I just can't go on without writing a review for this place. So first I'll start with the one positive. Manager Liz. What a saint this woman is for being able to work with the rudest most entitled girls I have ever met. If it weren't for meeting her last night this review would have been one star. Due to our horrible experience with the staff, Liz did her best to make sure we left happy. Unfortunately though, her staff ruined it. The bartender pictured completely ruined our experience, along with a few others. The girls that work at this place think they are gods gift to the world. Let's start from the beginning. So we walk in, sit ourselves at the bar and are immediately greeted by this "ray of sunshine". The bar has a huge assortment of drinks as you can tell from the background of the picture. This bartender had the audacity to use hand gestures to tell me to hurry up with my food and drink order. Bad taste in my mouth right there. After that, never came in to check on us. Then I heard her rudely talking about one of her coworkers right in front of us and say "what does she think she's doing behind my bar? Get the f** out from behind my bar". I really don't know who she thought she was talking to. Again, she thinks she's god's gift to the world. Followed by that, as we were going to pay for the bills, we didn't sign them as quick as she wanted us to and again rushed us and when she didn't like our reply she rudely mumbled something about us to a male coworker RIGHT IN FRONT OF US. This girl needs a reality check. Seriously though, if it weren't for Liz, this girl would have gotten a taste of her own medicine from a New Yorker but because of Liz we politely walked away. Liz if you see this, you are the real MVP. This place really needs to consider hiring nicer, respectful people because the girls that work here are complete scum. HAVE A GREAT DAY! :) EDIT: She also was loading the dish washer and slammed it shut and said "this is me not giving a f***" PLEASE FIRE THIS DISGRACE TO YOUR COMPANY

Huge selection of beer. Nikkole and Liz are the best bartenders in ybor. Always very quick and friendly service. There's always good specials for food throughout the week and a rotating beer list.

I have never been disappointed with The Brass Tap! The food is absolutely delicious and the size of items extremely good! The prices are very good for being right on 7th in Ybor. The beers they carry are quite diverse with sooo many regional and craft brews! There is a beer board listing people who have drank the various beers... my good friend George right now is #1 with over 1100- that should tell you about the variety! The staff is always on top of everything, great at answering questions, and helping to figure out what you want! Really do love this place!

The owner notified me that the server incorrectly added the additional tip. I appreciate that they offered to make things right with me.

The Brass Tap has an extensive list of beer on tap and a long list of drinks in cans/bottles. With so many options it's sure to please everyone. We only drank while we were here so I cannot say if the food is good or not. There are many large screen TVs playing sports and other types of shows... we went in the middle of the day. There is an outdoor patio and bar type seating with an open window for anyone who wants to still be inside, but feel a nice breeze. The atmosphere is chill.

Came down to Tampa with my boyfriend and my dad for my dad's birthday this weekend. One of the hostess/waitress named Taylor was an angel, and an absolute gem of a person. She treated us beautifully and her utmost service was immaculate. I returned after the 1st time because of her. We felt attended, valued, and appreciated. I love Taylor, and I hope for more of her recognition because she's very deserving. Her hospitality was perfect. Please cherish her! Thank you, Taylor, for everything. We will coming back for you, hun! :)

Great find in ybor! I was so impressed by the good food and shockingly the prices. I came here to watch the bed races, as it is the only place really on 7th to see the finish line of the race and sit outside since tequilas closed. We ordered a couple apps to share and both were great tasting and had huge portions. Some of your "regular" beer prices on the menu seemed a bit high but the mimosas were only $5. We had a great time and great service at ybor city tap house!

After our teaser for our Fringe play, my cast and I were looking for something to do in Ybor on a moderately late (read that as 9:30 pm) Wednesday night. Many of the dinner places we wanted to go, were closed, but we saw that the Brass Tap was open so we opted for it as it was a short walk and those in the cast wearing heels wouldnt have to walk too far. It wasn't a busy night, but the TV's were blaring loudly, almost to the point of pain. We sat at the bar as the waitress said she wasn't seating any more tables, the bar was fine with us. We weren't looking to purchase alcohol but food, so we perused their dinner menu. I chose the riblet skillet (it comes with a 5 cheese mac N cheese, though it didn't say in the description, it was topped with both jalapeno peppers and peppadews, and of course the riblet meat.) Others chose the nachos and chips and salsa to eat. When my order came, the whole thing had a very petroleum smell too it. The meat and top layer of the mac n cheese tasted like it'd been splashed with watered down lighter fluid, like maybe it'd been too close to the flame under a gas salamander. It just didn't taste right. I ate the meat, I was hungry, but the M&C was just too .. meh to eat. The service though was great at the bar.

Staff seem constantly aggravated especially the ones above. Seemed like it could of been a great place ohhh scratch bay she just took my plate with out asking as I was writing this comment. I will be sure to review on all other social media platforms. Disgusted almost elite yelper

Ybor City is great, and the Tap House is a great spot. Beer selection is great, food solid. On the weekends parking can be tough. Staff is attentive and warm and welcoming. Great vibes!!
