SM: “When I was 19, one of my best friends, Cole Torode, was planning to open a coffee shop. He's been the Canadian National Barista Champion 2018, 2019 and Top 5 in the world both of those years. It was cool to see how Rosso Coffee Roasters grew into a big operation. They have a sick pour over — it's a rotating exotic or competition coffee, always a unique flavour experience.”

Why the 1 star you ask Let me preface by saying, I wanted a bagel and called around to see who on 9 Av SE had any (besides Tim's. I was happy Rosso had some, so I quickly went over. After waiting 7 minutes to order (3 people ahead of me), I move up to order and see that it will be $4.50 for a bagel and cream cheese! I decide I've invested this much time, and the drive there already, I will order this expensive bagel. The total comes to $5.25. I quickly tap then realize that can not be right. I mention the price seems wrong to the girl. She tells me it's GST. I again said even with the .25 charge for GST. It's still not right. She says 4.50 for the bagel and .50 for cream cheese. I then said. Your sign says $4.50 WITH cream cheese, why are you charging me an additional .50, she says I'll have to take it up with the manager, who is of course not there. Now I'm paying over $5 for a bagel and cream cheese. I go to leave with it and realize I better check, because it doesn't feel like there is any cream cheese on it. To my surprise, I never realized you could put cream cheese that thin on anything. I go back and ask for more, as I am already paying more for this. She does. When you look at the pictures, keep in mind, this is after the additional cream cheese. I should have taken photos of first round, didn't think about it at first. Both of the baristas were not pleasant about this, And I was still being pleasant about the whole thing. The bagel was very good though. So long story short... If you don't mind being charged extra on already pricy food. This is the store for you.

The Rosso has truly mastered the art of coffee and pastries. From the moment you step in, the aroma of freshly brewed coffee and warm, buttery croissants creates an inviting atmosphere. Their lattes are perfectly balanced, smooth, and topped with beautiful latte art – a true treat for both the eyes and the palate. But the pastries are where. Each croissant is a flaky, golden masterpiece, with a tender interior. Their fruit tarts are bursting with fresh, seasonal flavors, and the chocolate eclairs are simply divine, with a rich, velvety cream filling. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, always happy to recommend a new pastry or coffee blend. Whether you're looking for a quick morning pick-me-up or a leisurely afternoon treat, The Rosso cafee offers an exceptional experience that will leave you craving more. It’s the perfect spot to relax, work, or catch up with friends

Rosso in Inglewood is right on the street corner. The space is big and the vibe is super comfy — there’s even a huge corner sofa that can fit a bunch of people, really cozy. Coffee and bakery items are both solid, and the staff are really nice too. It does get pretty busy on weekends, people just keep coming. I’ve been buying beans from them for a while, and this time I used my points to redeem a flat white — pretty sweet perk for members!

I’m a big fan of Rosso coffee! I’ve been buying it for a long time. I used to live in Ontario and started buying when the beans were sold in jars! I don’t live in Calgary, but every time I visit I make a point to go here. Their lattes are top and their butter croissants are extra flakey. I met a barista named Olivia today and she’s so lovely. It made for another great experience. This place is friendly and has great coffee. Win-win.

Thoroughly impressed with this cafe! Ambiance is really good. Drink quality is superb! Hospitality is everything you could want & then some! At the Inglewood location, there were two fantastic baristas that I had the privilege of meeting. Both Rory and Marvin made me feel welcome. When it was time to leave, I needed help with directions. Rory looked it up on his phone and then double-checked with his co=workers, while Marvin generously offered me a coffee sample. I loved the cafe so much that when I found out that they had another location in close proximity, I went to check it out. I arrived just a few minutes before closing, and yet Danielle was excited to have me visit the cafe. Her mocha was spectacular; she even re= pulled her espresso shot when she wasn't satisfied with the first one, and let me try the first shot on its own. When I go back to Edmonton, I can't wait to tell everyone about this remarkable coffee company!

Stopped by Rosso Coffee Roasters and really liked the vibe — cozy, chill, and not too loud. The coffee was really good, smooth and flavorful. Pastries were fresh and tasty. Staff were friendly and welcoming, made the whole visit feel relaxed. Great spot to work, study, or just hang out with a cup of coffee. Overall, solid café. Would definitely come back.

My partner I go here when we have an appointment in the area a few times a year. He had the cappuccino and I enjoyed a London fog, which we found really good. We had it in the cafe so our beverages were in nice sturdy ceramic cups and served to us in our seating area. Finding a place to sit can be a bit challenging so we had to share a spot with 5 other people on the sofa facing the street, but that wasn't really a problem, if you're not too shy.

Love how they were not only open, but so generous on Christmas Day with accepting food & hygiene donations in return for amazing coffee beverages. Fabulous local community business to support 🙏! Merry Christmas 🎄
