A Unique Art Space in Jeju – Nohyung Supermarket (노형수퍼마켙)
I wasn’t sure what to expect when I arrived at Nohyung Supermarket, but it turned out to be one of the most unique experiences in Jeju. Despite its name, this isn’t a regular supermarket—it’s a massive media art exhibition filled with immersive digital displays, light installations, and creative spaces that feel like stepping into a different world.
Each themed section has its own artistic concept, blending light, sound, and reflection in a way that feels almost surreal. The high ceilings and expansive space make the experience even more impressive.
A few things that stood out:
• Themed Exhibition Areas – Every section has a different artistic theme, making it fun to explore.
• Nohyung Dabang Cafe – A cool, black-and-white-themed café that looks like something out of a comic book.
• Nohyung General Store – A quirky souvenir shop with unique, artsy items.
Tips:
• Tickets are 15,000 KRW for adults, and they offer discounts for teens and children.
• The exhibition runs from 9:30 AM to 7:00 PM (last entry at 6:00 PM).
• It’s a great spot for anyone who enjoys photography, modern art, or just exploring unique places.
Overall, Nohyung Supermarket is more than just an exhibition—it’s an artistic experience worth checking out if you’re in Jeju. Highly recommended!
