On the Grid : A Cabreira

"Your go to spot for a typical Portuguese breakfast, lunch and snack break. An icon in the heart of Graça, with a lot to offer from pastries to typical Portuguese dishes that you can have for less than 5€! Whatever you do, don’t leave the place without having a warm and mouthwatering Pastel de Nata." - v-a

Very local vibes! We were here on Monday morning, lots of people, but that kinda made the atmosphere special, we were having our coffee standing! Delicious coffee and pastry!

Nice service, buzzing place with many people eating a pastry or a cake at the counter. It has a lively atmosphere. I paid 4.30 for a double espresso and 2 pastéis i do recommend it🍮

I did dine in and takeout (take-away) while staying Lisbon only for pequeno almoço / breakfast. The staff was friendly and patient despite me not speaking enough Portuguese. Their natas are crunchy and not too sweet, meia de leite is so well balanced. My dad got the pao mixto (bread with ham and cheese) daily and I rotated between sweets and was not disappointed.

Such a nice little pastry shop with great Portuguese tarts. The prices were cheap for the quality. The atmosphere was cozy and very quaint. I loved their service as well.

Tourists.... Cross the hill and go there. Get a local's feel for super cheap. Creme brulee for 1.80, beer for 1.50, sweet wine for 1.50.... staff speaks English and patient with patrons.... Loved the place...

Great coffee, amazing pastel de nata and very simple, typically Portuguese food, affordable lunch menu (max. 8€ for fish / seafood set).

Yelp
No one has written a review for 7 years! Well it seems this place has gone downhill. We bought some pastries that looked like croissants but did not taste at all like croissants. They were disgusting. No butter was used and barely even sugar. They left a greasy feeling in your mouth. We threw them away after one bite.
