Great and wide wine selection. Managed to find a bottle Godello - a wine variety from Galicia Spain. Their mint and zucchini salad and two pieces of cheese ( 50gms in every 'slice', some still water and I spent a very pleasant afternoon on the streetside terrace overlooking historic Melbourne. Great service, knowledgeable sommelier and charming staff really completed this 'cuvée' experience ...

I have visited on two occasions. Service was so-so during both visits, but the food was really good. I was actually mind blown by how incredible the truffle champagne risotto was and still think about it now months after. I can understand and appreciate why this meal was so expensive, however, it was 100% worth it and I encourage all other diners to order this special if available during next year’s truffle season. Please bring it back, City Wine Shop! I could also argue this is some of the best beef tartare in Melbourne. It’s no nonsense, European style dining - even if it costs a pretty penny.

This beautiful Bar on Spring street is an old establishment and place for wine & dine from god know when.. Amazing wine list, smaller menu but there is something for everyone...Well prepared and presented, no objection at all! But what is most important is the vibe and feel of urban environment that is everywhere. Very often it would be full to the brink, but somehow it doesn't feel crowded and overwhelming. There is some calmness about this place. We are going quite often and will continue to go and enjoy this unique place. Highly recommended Jana & Boris

Today went to city wine shop to relearn about Australian wines to change over from french wines after failiuer in my home program from french also tried the sydney rock oysters

The staff are sooooo friendly I ordered chicken Schnitzel it was served with a beautiful salad, the chicken was so soft and tender.

Such a nice and peaceful little joint near Parliament! There is a great variety of wine and very well-thought options of small dishes, main dish and dessert to go with the wines! There are plenty of seats outside for you to enjoy some sunshine but there are also options for indoor seating and bar table. The food was very well cooked with good quality ingredients. The staff team was really friendly! Love the Gnocchi, very fresh and flavourful!!

Fairly quiet for a Friday but staff were attentive and as usual chatty and polite. We took our 4&5yo for the first time, we’ve been many times and knew portion sizes were generous so one gnocchi main to share for the kids and 4-5 starters and a shared main for two adults was plenty of food. Wines on point as always.
