This used to be one of the best places in Zagreb. Not anymore. The portions are now less than half the original size and the prices increased. Meanwhile ingredients became worse. A shame. Last visit to this former gem of Croatian cuisine!

Very enjoyable experience. We were advised several local dishes that we liked. Since, I Wished to know the local wines, I asked and received good recommendations by glass. We paid a bit high but no complains. I do not understand some of the bad reviews.

We had a good time ☺️ I loved the pea cream which came with the trout. Delish 😍 One slight disappointment was that the trout was proposed to be coated with 'hazelnut crust', which was missing. I didn't get any explanation for that, but perhaps was it because I asked a garlic -free dish? It would have been nice to have some hazelnuts !

A very good local restaurant with some traditional Croatian food. The Monkfish and Zagreb cutlet are delicious. Only one downside is waiting quite long for the dishes.

The setting is beautiful, but the prices are very high for local standards. The food is good, but the service felt inconsistent. At times the waitress seemed dismissive, maybe because of the language barrier, but it came across as if my questions were brushed off, and I felt rushed. At the end, I specifically asked to round up the bill, but instead, like in many touristy and pushy restaurants, the waitress handed me the tipping screen. I find that screen very annoying: you’re suddenly faced with a bunch of numbers, which feels confusing and pressuring, as if you’re being forced to tip on top of already expensive prices. the place charges Western European prices rather than Croatian ones, without the western european feel or service which makes the pushiness around tipping even less pleasant.

Beautiful and quiet dining room. Service was first rate. Jan our server was very attentive and informative. His suggestions were right on the spot. The chard tart starter was not to be missed flavored by the local olive oil. We also enjoyed the veal main dish and the deconstructed poppy seed and cheese cake. The Pinot noir and Chardonnay weekly suggested wines very nice. Good celebration of Croatian food and libations.

I went to this restaurant upon a recommendation. Unfortunately, our experience was far from expected. When my wife and I arrived there we were warmly greeted by a lovely young lady working at the reception. Martina I believe. She welcomed us with a smile and really made us feel welcome. But the rest of the staff interaction left much to be desired. When we were seated the waiter, an older gentleman, didn't look too happy he had to serve us. We noticed this as he angrily approached the receptionist and was really rude to her. There weren't that many guests in the restaurant so we were able to hear most of it. My wife understands Croatian a bit. During the service, waiter seemed generally uninterested and we were not comfortable. Food was good. We had roasted veal and Zagreb schnitzel for main dish, preceded by a wonderful beef soup. However, it was awkward to eat in such atmosphere and food can not make up for that. I do not believe we will return here, which is a shame as we really liked the food.

This restaurant had food I will dream about being able to eat again. The portion sizes were quite reasonable too. I got the veal schnitzel and the cheese literally oozed out of it. My friend had a beef filet, I think, and it was the most tender piece of meat it literally melted like butter in your mouth. Dessert was also incredibly tasty, if I recall I got a chocolate mocha cake and devoured it. Wine was good and the waitstaff were attentive.
