Before I get into the food, I highly recommend making a reservation. This is because reservations offer a 30% discount on the main menu. (As of February 2026.) Now, let's talk about the food. The potatoes, when eaten with the meat, were delicious, as they cut through the meat's richness. The salad, on the other hand, was average. And the meat was truly delicious. It was delicious no matter how you ate it! The steak portion was 1.2kg, which is perfect for four people.

It's definitely a tourist trap for anyone wondering. I saw a lot of videos and travel guides recommending this place so I was really excited to try it out during our visit, especially for Bistecca. We ordered their Onion Soup, Truffle Carbonara and Bistecca "Marchigiana", which was 1.2kg and suggested as the perfect middle ground between that strong tuscan cattle taste vs tender meat. Onion Soup - it was pretty good, pretty much identical to a French Onion Soup. Truffle Carbonara - this was really disappointing. It was really bland and the texture of the sauce felt very chalky. We had to add an additional good amount of parmesan cheese to make it taste better but overall it was very underwhelming. We ended up with leftovers since we just couldn't finish it. Bistecca "Marchigiana" - similarly, I thought the steak was pretty bland, not a lot of flavor in the meat and it was pretty tough even though we ordered Medium Rare. We had to add more salt and pepper to make it more flavorful but given the price, I had hoped for more. We ended up having Bistecca at some other place for ~3/4 the price and it had a deeper flavor + better texture than this one. Overall, food was very mediocre and definitely on the more expensive side. We thought the service was pretty slow too, it was hard to get the attention of the staff throughout the course. Other than that, the place had a nice atmosphere though and relatively spacious - really had wished the food was better for the price.

My favourite dinner in Florence! The service was excellent and it had a nice intimate vibe. The food was amazing. I was obsessed with the crostini- rich chicken liver pate and fresh tomatoes, deli meats and cheeses. I was a bit apprehensive of the florentine steak because it is huge and doesn’t come with a sauce but this blew me away. It comes on a sizzling board and I did cook mine a bit more because of preference. The quality of the meat was great. It comes with a side of beautifully seasoned potatoes and a fresh salad which were all brilliant. If you’re in Florence definitely try this!

KLEO was great, he even knows some mandarin to greet Chinese guests. We taught him couple Cantonese phases for guests from HK next time. The Tuscan onion soup is flavorful and just right. the truffle fettuccine and the ravioli with ricotta cheese were excellent. The steak was very tender and tasted good.

An outstanding steak experience from start to finish. The T - Bone steak was exceptional — perfectly cooked, and incredibly tender. Exactly how a great steak should be done. What truly elevated the experience was the service. Rogers was of great guide of meat cuts and grades. Excellent food, warm atmosphere, and service that makes you want to come back. Highly recommended.

We had an great dining experience at Trattoria dalloste. The atmosphere was warm and authentic, The quality of the food was outstanding and prepared with great care. A special mention goes to our waiter Kleo, who made the evening even better. He was friendly, attentive, his recommendations were perfect, and he made us feel truly welcomed throughout the entire meal. Foods taste awesome. Especially Saifu was very kind to offer us complimentary Tiramisu. Fully satisfied by good food and good people.
