Jingle Bao & Yum Yum Wok

Absolutely loved this place. The food was amazing, especially the shrimp and the beef. The beef was incredibly tender and full of flavor, easily one of the best I’ve had in a long time. The environment is also a big plus — clean, comfortable, and very pleasant to dine in. On top of that, the staff were extremely kind and attentive, which made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend trying their chrysanthemum tea as well. It was light, fragrant, and a perfect way to finish the meal. Will definitely be coming back!

Came here with friends and had a great experience. The Magnificent Seven and Super Xiao Long Bao are must-orders, super juicy with rich broth and great flavor. The Colorful Xiao Long Bao looks fun but also tastes surprisingly good, not just for show. We also ordered the chow mein, which had really nice flavor. Also, prices are very reasonable for a Downtown spot.

Would recommend the magnificent 7 which is like a flight of 7 different XLB dumplings which were all delicious. We were a little sad as the pictures online had them come in these individual liftable baskets but all of ours came plain on the steamer so the presentation was not as nice as advertised. The flavours of the XLB were all great though and the skin was nice and thin. The snowflake dumplings were good too. The sweet and sour pork was mediocre. Service is very basic so you need to remind the staff what you asked for or else they forget. My plates were chipped and the tables were a bit dirty with leftover food bits from the previous diners I had to flick onto the floor.

This was truly the worst dining experience I have ever had. The female server was friendly; however, the food was far below expectations, and the overall experience was extremely unpleasant, completely ruining our weekend evening. I genuinely do not understand why this place has good Google reviews—it is baffling. 1. A staff member wearing an inappropriate shirt that exposed chest hair, shorts, and having unkempt hair 2. Shrimp dumplings that were not fully cooked 3. Dumplings that were very small, poorly filled, and overpriced for their size 4. Vegetables that were not fresh 5. Flat beer with no carbonation

New owners, same amazing flavours. We stopped here every time we are in Vancouver because they have the best dumplings we have ever had! Pork belly was also excellent and served with marinated vegetables and a side of rice.

The food is good, and the staff is very friendly. The chef even made a nice gesture by preparing a candy after the meal. Recommended to visit the restaurant especially when you are craving for Chinese food. Kudos to the team!

Firstly, the restaurant smelled very bad upon walking in, like a bathroom. The tables were very sticky like they dont clean the restaurant much. The utensils were dirty too, all the spoons and forks had residue on them. Then when we ordered the large soup dumpling, it arrived with raw meat. Because the meat cannot be checked we ended up eating some before we noticed. We flagged it with the server and their response was "oh is it raw?" Like this isnt the first time it has happened. They recooked the same one and we didn't receive any compensation for this experience. Overall even aside from the raw meat the food was a bit too salty and a bit too gimicky. It's not worth the price they are charging. Would not recommend.

The design is adorable, and full of charm, and the food is very delicious! The chef was incredibly kind and even made four Chinese sugar paintings for my family, which made me so happy. It was such a wonderful surprise during the Christmas holidays and made the experience truly unforgettable. Definitely will come again, love it ~
