Really beautiful and authentic pizzeria with a great selection of pizzas, a must go for pizzas in Rio

Bráz is one of my favorite pizzerias in Rio! The dough has that perfect balance of crispy and chewy, with a subtle hint of sourness that comes from the preferment. The cheese is creamy, and the sauce is perfectly sweet and tangy. The Castelões sausage adds a flavorful touch, making every bite just right. This is what I call São Paulo-style pizza—crafted with top-quality ingredients and true passion. It always hits the spot for us. For us, Bráz stands head and shoulders above other pizza chains. With locations across Brazil, if you're visiting Rio and you're a pizza lover, you definitely need to check them out. Whether dining in or ordering delivery, it's always a great choice!

Great pizza, both pasta and ingredients top, super nice service

Chain pizzeria which has been around for about 20 years. The pizza dough was a bit chewy which was disappointing, given the reputation this place has. The service was good and the decoration and atmosphere was nice. It has an outdoors area which is a nice touch.

The best chain of pizzerias in Brazil. Get the katchapuri or the baked eggplant as starter. Any of their pizzas are absolutely delicious. They have their own crockery, olive oils, fresh ingredients and the staff are really well trained. I have visited branches both in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. Always a great evening there. Beautiful place with a decent wine with braz's brand and the food was nice the best thing about it, is that you can divide your pizza into different specialities which allows you to have a broader opinion about their different flavours, crust was too high for the rest very nice.

One of the best pizzas I've ever had. Crust is awesome. Crispy, chewy and fire oven baked to perfection. Sauce is great, not too much or too little. Highly recommended.

What a huge restaurant! It's long and narrow, so it goes quite a bit toward the back and may even have a patio. It's beautifully tiled to give a very clean industrial look. Service was friendly and English accommodating for those with visitors in town. We were seated right away without reservations but we were early for Brazil time, supper at 7pm; it definitely filled up later in the evening. Pizzas come in two sizes; small (6 pieces and two flavor choices) and medium (8 pieces and three flavor choices). Both sizes easily feed two or more people at R$70 a pizza and up. They serve you each slice and keep the pizzas on a separate table so it doesn't crowd yours. We tried the carbonara and artichoke which were both delicious. However I wouldn't go as far as claiming it's the best in Rio. I prefer Stravaganze Pizzaria across Lagoa, on the Ipanema side. They carry Carioca beer, which is next door, but again were running low due to Bloco season. Beer was limited to a Brahma chopp. They have a collection of wines by bottle and by glass you have to ask for the options of the day (maybe 4 choices). Good spot, good pizza and easy to catch a cab on the street as well, with other restaurants nearby.

Probably the best pizza joint I've been to in Rio. The restaurant was nice and the service was outstanding. You can tell they use quality ingredients and make sure that the pizza isn't soggy from the toppings. If you don't mind waiting in a line because this place is busy, then Braz is the place to eat pizza in Rio.

Best pizza in Rio. The Caprese won a prize, but all others are also very good. Reasonable wine list. Best Tiramisu (really light). Come early or wait long.

This restaurant is apparently originally from São Paulo, but their pizza reminds me of being in Italy! We were there during some sort of special period where they were featuring imported italian ingredients, so that meant delicious pizza with buffalo mozzarella and great meats. The pizza was amazing, cooked in a wood oven, and it had a crispy, delicious crust. It was maybe a little expensive (at R$75 for one pizza), but totally worth it. One pizza is probably enough for two people of normal appetites. They are also open quite late, I believe we showed up at 11:30 and were still seated.

Best Pizza in Rio! Bráz pizzaria is a chain from Sao Paulo, a city known by its pizza's tradition brought by millions of Italians that moved to the city at the beginning of the last century. The pizza here is very good and the place is always crowded, be patient especially on Friday and Saturday's nights. The staff is friendly and fast. I recommend Pão de Calabresa as an appetizer and Paulistana pizza.

For a city not known for its pizza, Braz not only leads the way, but sets the bar very high! There is almost always a wait (not a bad sign), but they serve drinks and apps outside, so it is a pleasant wait. However, as good as the pizza is. This is where I found THE BEST draft beer in Rio, commonly known as "chopp". One more thing.....if you get there early (before 9pm), you may be lucky enough to try their Pao de Calabresa.....thank me later!

This was good quality pizza in an upscale restaurant setting and nice location next to the Lagua. I recommend this place if you're in the mood for good pizza. My wife didn't like her pizza with eggplant and onion because they didn't prepare these two ingredients well and also used too much olive oil on it. Me and my son shared a half margarita half Caprese which was excellent. My daughter got a personal margarita which was excellent.

Awesome pizza served here. High quality ingredients used. Only reason i did not give 5 stars is because it is slightly over priced. Would definitely go back.

A bit overpriced, but good pizza in a big family environment. Always full of people. A nice restaurant for big groups, though sometimes it could take some time to get a table.

I really like this place. For the food and the quality, I do not think it was overpriced. All ingredients were fresh and pizza was made to order.
