Toronto
% Arabica Toronto Union Station

Google
Not sure if im late to the party but WOW. This has to be the best coffee I've ever tasted in my life. So smooth creamy sweet just amazing. The staff is top notch. Service was excellent every time I went even when there was a bit of a line up. Still worth the wait. Every time I come back to toronto I'll be here that's a promise. And it was a even nicer surprise to see one in eaton center

Every time I went to Union station I was always excited to get a drink at Arabica. However, after my last visit I'll never enter again. My last drink was awful and the service was miserable. I'm aware of steaming to the appropriate temperature for optimal latte art, but my matcha latte was barely warm and could have been steamed longer. The texture was also grainy and unpleasant to swallow. I paid tip and the total was around $9 for a badly prepared drink. The barista was experienced too as he made a high level design, he just couldn't care less. So I won't care about this brand either. Each visit got worse and I dont think I can expect a good beverage anymore. Please don't reply with an AI generated response and instead make actual changes. 🙂

Google
A lot of hype, but taste was disappointing. Had the Cafe Latte , literally weak coffee taste, great if you aren't a coffee drinker. Medium sized came to $7.91 Whole milk or Oat, that's it And you thought Starbucks was expensive! At least you earn Stars at Starbucks. My Nespresso machine at home makes better Lattes @ <$2 Asked whats the difference in Tokyo Latte... he said we add condensed milk. Thats Tokyo? Whats about Spanish Latte? We add more condensed milk he replies. LOL Sorry big fail.

Google
Nice coffee shop from Kyoto with some seating. Tried the Kyoto latte and it was excellent, coffee was flavourful, also service was great and fast. Tried many locations in Japan as well as Dubai, Vietnam, Hong Kong and korea and it's definitely the same quality beans.

Google
One of the best coffees I’ve had in a while! We tried the white mocha and the iced maple latte, and both were absolutely delicious. The flavors were rich and perfectly balanced — sweet but not overwhelming — and the quality of the coffee really stood out.

Google
This location was so busy with lineups when it first opened, and it’s a lot more accessible now. The space is pretty spacious and has a few different types of seating appropriate for the place - lots of bar style seating for people in transit/ on-the-go. They had a pretty big spill it seems like so their counter looked pretty grimy at the time and staff didn’t seem concerned by it. Staff seem friendly and the checkout process was pretty quick. I’ve had a few coffees now from Arabica and they’re nice and rich flavour and texture-wise. Had the Maple Latte this time, and the maple flavour is a bit hard to make out with the coffee, although there was a bit of a bitter/ artificial syrup aftertaste. It was a decent coffee anyway.

Google
Matcha used to taste really well balanced, ordered it today and noticed increase in price & the fact that the matcha tastes watery/milky. I had a bad feeling immediately seeing the colour, it’s not as vibrant as it used to be, idk if they changed their formula or are using new brand of matcha but it’s not great

Google
Arabica is a hip java stop on the main floor of Union Station in Toronto. They have premium coffee options and a few bites as well. The space is dramatic. Emphasis on white. Clean lines. Lots of clean lighting. The service was great. Professional and helpful. 5 x ☕☕☕☕☕

Yelp
I just can't resist stopping by Arabica for an espresso macchiato every time I arrive downtown from Markham. The café is bright, inviting, and surprisingly spacious--there's always seating available, which makes it a perfect pause before heading out. Service is consistently fast and efficient, with drinks ready in about 5-10 minutes. My macchiato is always spot-on. Nothing beats that caffeine boost to kick off my downtown adventures. Arabica has become my go-to ritual at Union Station.

Yelp
Amazing spot for coffee. I've tried the Kyoto, Spanish, and they had a maple while I was in Toronto. All were great, but my favorite was the Kyoto. Also, try the soft serve! They had the coffee one when I was there and it was delicious.
google avatar

Fanming J.

Yelp
Went here for a quick drink, the atmosphere of the cafe was amazing, i liked the theme. The matcha latte on the other hand was quite disappointing, i had high expectations going into it, especially when it was $8. It tasted like super low quality watered down matcha with high sugar content. I personally wouldn't recommend the drink.
google avatar

Yelp
Great coffee, they are much quicker than the other locations. Don't be too worried if there is a queue. The service is quick and efficient.

Yelp
I love % Arabica!! Very minimalistic decor, very clean, and smells great. Service was fast and friendly. Their lattes are great and the Kyoto latte is my favorite. Although it's a really great cup of coffee, it's a bit pricey for what you get.
google avatar

Elsie Z.

Yelp
I love everything about Arabica. Their coffee, matcha, and soft serve are all so good! The drinks are on the creamy side, which I really enjoy. I like stopping by whenever I'm in the area, though I only visit occasionally since the drinks can be quite pricey. The interior feels bright and open with its fully white design. There's limited seating along the side, it was probably designed as a quick grab and go.
google avatar

Yelp
I'd been curious about Arabica for a while, so when I happened to find myself in Union Station on a chilly February morning, I knew I had to pop in for a cup of joe. The place was quite packed when I walked in, so I was worried the wait would be u reasonable. But it was about a 10 minute wait from the time I ordered my coffee to when I got it, so clearly they know what they're doing. I wound up trying the Kyoto Latte ("Uses the % Arabica Single Origin as its base, paired with a little condensed milk, giving it a hint of sweetness, stronger aromatics, and a richer body"), and I also got a brown butter chocolate chip cookie. It's great coffee. I was really impressed by its smooth, rich flavor. The coffee flavor was fairly subtle, at least compared to other store-bought coffees I've had, but it's just addictively drinkable. The cookie was fine, but it's the coffee that's the big attraction here. I'm curious to try some of their other offerings.
google avatar

Jerry L.

Yelp
A little overpriced, the espresso flavour is obscured by the milk and it feels very diluted.
google avatar

Jenny P.

Yelp
A pretty convenient location in Union, was very happy that it wasn't busy. I didn't try the coffee but a friend said this was probably one of the best drinks she had! The soft serve was the perfect amount, wished they had matcha at the time though. Will try and go back and get one of their drinks next time
google avatar

Sarah P.

Yelp
This location is conveniently situated by the entrance of the Bay St Promenade of the Union Retail area right in front of Union subway station. It's great for making a quick stop before and after your commute. I haven't tried their coffees, but personally think they serve one of the better matcha lattes in the city, and would purchase one whenever I pass by. The staff here are friendly, but the service is pretty average. The Union Station location is quite spacious complementing its modern, bright and airy decor.
google avatar

Cindy N.

Yelp
Despite passing by Arabica so many times at Union, I haven't had a chance to try it out yet. I was looking for a small dessert right before a concert and this seemed to be a good option. The menu is a bit limited to mostly drinks as it is more of a grab and go type of location with limited seating. However they did have the matcha soft serve! Matcha Soft Serve: I got the regular size and it was the perfect portion. The soft serve was the perfect amount of matcha flavour and creaminess. Overall, I would come back again to try out their drinks. The matcha soft serve pleasantly surprised me with how amazing it was!
google avatar

Alaleh P.

Yelp
They're conveniently located the north entrance of Union Station, so it's a perfect spot to grab your morning coffee on the way out, unless there's a huge lineup. They have a good selection of coffee (black), latte and cappuccino. They offer non-dairy options or sugar-free options upon request. The prices start from 6.95+tax for small latte. They also sell coffee beans, croissants and desserts. The store is environmentally friendly and all their utensils are recyclable.
google avatar

Carol Y.

Yelp
Hands down, this is one of my favourite spots to grab coffee in Toronto! From the clean, simple, bright aesthetic of the store, to the beautifully crafted espresso drinks, and to the balanced taste of espresso roast, Arabica offers a relaxing, comforting experience sipping on their coffee -- even in the midst of a busy train/subway station. Be warned though, there usually is a long line. However, it's definitely worth the wait. I always go for the Kyoto latte because I prefer unsweetened, but the Spanish latte is a great choice for those who like their coffee sweeter. *BONUS - you need to try their matcha soft cream on hot days! It's a premium price (more so than the coffee), but the quality of the matcha and balanced sweetness are wonderful.
google avatar

Thuha N.

Yelp
The smell pulled us in. The streamlined simplicity peeked our curiosity. The taste wowed us and invited us back. I wished my Maple latte had a bit more maple syrup. The Kyoto was bold and rich. We all loved the Dark (chocolate) latte, which had a gentle sweet note at the end. Each staff member has their precise task. One person takes order, another measures the EXACT amount of espresso ground for the coffee, another steams the milk, and the very last one pours a PERFECT latte time after time. It was mesmerizing!

Yelp
I walked past this place when first entering into Toronto and you will NOT miss it. Especially those who are coming in from the Airport taking the train. This is literally called the Train Station Café Arabica Toronto. I had to order one before I left for my train to the airport. I was literally hauling luggage in the café, and the staff came out to help me and place it beside a chair as I got my order. They were nice and had a little empathy. I was struggling hard though. Anyways, I ordered an Iced Spanish Latte and sat down for a little bit to wait for my drink. It was done extremely quick, and I just sat there for a bit. I enjoyed looking at all the people rapidly moving past the café going to their destinations. It for sure is one of the really REALLY nice cafés that are perfect to people browse. This little café is a perfect respice from all the hustle and bustle of all the chaos of moving in Toronto. It was perfect. I took a fantastic picture of people moving fast through the station, and will be using it for my future art piece. Love this café a lot. Will be back here for another cup next time I am here in Toronto.

Yelp
Very overpriced drinks, and often long lineups. The matcha is mediocre tasting, and the coffee doesn't seem to be anything special either. During rush hour you can expect to wait for a long time. Expensive prices for the size of drink as well. Not a lot of seating, it's more of a takeout fast food coffee place.
google avatar

Pranav M.

Yelp
Over rated. Expensive. Many better options within a 5 minute walk. Paid like 14$ for two coffees...
google avatar

Vivian L.

Yelp
I never want to line up at yorkdale for this but since it opened up at union station and it's not too busy in the mornings, I finally got to try. Not a coffee drinker so I got their hot matcha latte which only comes in one size. I think it was $7 ish or so. The service was fast for a weekday morning with the rush of everyone grabbing before work. It is VERY flavourful and a good quality matcha which I enjoy. It was sweetened perfectly or maybe could even be a little less. I would be interested in trying their iced one when it gets warmer. I guess it's kinda expensive for what it is. The size of the hot is kinda small.
google avatar

Sherrona T.

Yelp
Super convenient to have a cafe like Arabica at union station as when I am going to Toronto by train I can stop by. My boyfriend got the kyoto latte and I got the maple latte which is a Canadian exclusive. The maple latte was super delicious and was on the sweeter side of drinks so if you like your coffee sweet this might be for you! The service was good as the cashier was very sweet and we did not wait very long for our drinks. Cafe was. very clean and organized (with also very good lighting!! haha)
google avatar

Joy H.

Yelp
Took me a while to finally try this very hyped coffee, and it was okay. Arabica is always very difficult to miss with the blindingly bright stores--and especially so with the high traffic location. I found the best times to come here are weekdays around 2-4pm. I got a matcha latte, so not the usual Kyoto or Spanish coffee that folks order. I would say for matcha it's actually pretty solid, very good matcha strength and the sugar compliments it. But that's not to say the matcha flavour is unique compared to other cafes that serve it as well. However, the matcha is mixed really nicely to feel quite smooth. Overall, not bad. I personally wouldn't visit again, but it was a fun bucketlist item.
google avatar

Mary Grace W.

Yelp
Visited the Arabica at Union Station to see what all the hype was about! The interior is nicely decorated and brightly lit. Of course, there's usually a line out the door so it took a while to reach the cashier, however, the baristas do try to work quickly. I ended up getting the Matcha Latte, and it was probably one of the best Matcha Lattes I've had. It was creamy but with the pleasant grassy matcha notes. You can also add more sugar and milk/cream if you need on the side (which I did add more sugar). It is on the pricey side, however. I was planning on buying some coffee beans as a gift but I didn't think it would be worth it. I understand the fan base however, with such beautiful branding it looks like some of the most premium stuff you can get around here. I would come back to try the other drinks but definitely not something I would get regularly.

Yelp
I have been wanting to check out Arabica because I heard that they were a shop from Kyoto. It's probably similar to their Yorkdale location, but be prepared to wait. I got here at 8:25 and there was already a very long line. In total, weight time was probably around 35 minutes until I was able to order. The aesthetics of Arabica is beautiful; it's simply and clean. I love their logo too. They have a little tuck shop too; not sure who is buying $100 white sneakers with their logo? I ordered the Kyoto Latte (large) and a croissant. The croissant was delicious; I was hoping to share it with my son, but he gobbled all of it and I had a minuscule bite. It was fluffy and very buttery. As for the Kyoto Latte, it was okay. The person at cash explained the ingredients and how it's made. Maybe my mistake was ordering the iced version. I could only taste the milk for a number of sips and then some coffee followed with a hint of condensed milk. I have to give kudos to staff though! It was so busy, but they were all very calm and made everything quickly after customers ordered. Good for: coffee, baked goods
google avatar

Sydney R.

Yelp
The coffee was delicious and staff friendly and helpful so glad I spotted it walking through Union Station/PATH in the evening. It was actually one of the only things open at that time which was perfect.
google avatar

Carlo Y.

Yelp
Sometimes branding is everything. If you look from far, it looks like APPLE store. It has the same clean and simple feel of APPLE store, instead of selling phones/ computers/ technology, it sells coffee. I really like the presentation, it gave me a feel that I got something nice. The service is excellent and on point. We got Kyoto Latte and Spanish Latte cold, the Kyoto Latte is more blends not as strong but easy to drink. The Spanish latter has strong coffee flavor with little more sweets. I also like they are some merch for the store, they clean looking but expensive. Last thing is the only complaint that I got is that I got cold latte in a paper cup with ice, I think I can see the cup was not handling it too well over time. I like this and can't wait until they expand more location to USA or other city.
google avatar

Queenie L.

Yelp
I found the latte very good. The coffee aroma was so pleasant and strong, the coffee was very rich and you really taste the aroma. However even the Kyoto latte was not sweet enough for me so I would suggest their Spanish latte if you're used to sweeeter lattes - that was the staff suggestion. However, they do have sweetener on the side for you to add The matcha soft serve was good, the matcha was strong but I felt that it was too sweet. Overall, the coffee is super aromatic and tastes amazing.
google avatar

Geraldine G.

Yelp
Solid, modernist space. I thought everything was in point. Not too many offerings so it's much easier to choose. The Spanish latte itself was okay and although it was supposed to be sweet .. I didn't think it was more than a regular flat white with one sugar. The customer service here was very good I found. Before it was my turn each person before me had so many questions and they were quite patient in answering them.
google avatar

Sarah A.

Yelp
Came across this rather large coffee spot while walking in the PATH and wanted to give it a go. There were tons of people inside despite the day and time I went to acquire some much needed caffeine. There really is not much seating space and there is a long counter area so it really is more catered to people who are on the go. I ordered the Kyoto Latte and I was not disappointed! The coffee had a subtle sweetness to it and just the right amount of milk to espresso. It was a soothing and lovely beverage that I highly recommend you give a try!! I didn't have the pleasure to try any of their treats or other coffee specialities but it was a great surprise! Just note that this place can get super busy being so close to Union and Scotiabank!
google avatar

Cin V.

Yelp
Love the modern, clean, and simple design of the place. The staff is helpful and welcoming. The ingredients are high quality. You can definitely taste it. The matcha soft serve is perfectly sweet and delicious. The lemonade sparkling drink is the perfect amount of sweet and sparkling. This was our first time here and won't be our last.
google avatar

Anthey C.

Yelp
I got to Union Station around 10AM and, to my surprise, there wasn't the usual lineup. If you are in a hurry to catch a connecting ride, this place gets busy fairly quickly. My first experience with Arabica was in Hong Kong, and then I had the opportunity to check out their flagship in Kyoto, Japan. It's hard not to feel welcome in any Arabica shop with their chic and minimalistic interior and friendly service. They have a very simple, straightforward menu that includes espresso, specialty lattes, drip coffee, matcha, and this unique Maple Latte they have here. Arabica is all about loving coffee, appreciating good design, and travel, and they nail it. I've tried their matcha latte, the Spanish latte, and the Kyoto Latte -- all worth a sip!
google avatar

Lela A.

Yelp
Had heard this was the best most creamy matcha latte but ? it was so so so underwhelming. I do like the location of this one though! In union station so it was nice being able to grab it before taking the UP back to the airport :)
google avatar

Ash A.

Yelp
I'm so glad I finally got to try % Arabica... and I was extremely pleasantly surprised. To start, the location is gorgeous. It's tucked in union station but it's spacious, bright, and beautiful. Very clean design. The service was quick and great. The matcha was one of the best matcha iced lattes I have ever had in Toronto. The matcha tastes true, and carries extremely well in the drink. The Kyoto latte is absolutely incredible. It had condensed milk, but it wasn't sweet. I loved the coffee, it's not too acidic. The seating area consists of a few stools (shown in my photo). It was busy when we went. I will definitely be returning.
google avatar

Susan L.

Yelp
Okay so I kind of get the hype. The menu is small but the coffee is great. I got the Kyoto Latte and it was the right amount of sweetness and the coffee was so smooth. Definitely a treat and worth every sip.
google avatar

Joeann S.

Yelp
The stark white and simple design of this coffee shop made it so pleasing to the eye! We came on a weekend and only ended up waiting for about 15 minutes. I got the Kyoto latte and I was honestly not super impressed, I didn't feel that there wasn't enough matcha flavour. I would go back to try their coffee but I would not want to wait in a line up longer than 15 minutes.
google avatar

Matthew D.

Yelp
Stopped by Arabica before work today to try for the first time. The store was spacious and had a creative ambiance. I opted for the Kyoto Latte, which is a popular item at the shop. Lines weren't too long, even at 8:30AM which would be around peak morning hours, so drinks were going by fast. However, I asked for a cold latte, but got hot instead. Not the most stoked about that but the drink tasted great regardless
google avatar

Michelle W.

Yelp
Must say the decor and space is beautiful within the union station. Went after the initial launch as ive visited arabica in dubai several years back and then also tried the yorkdale location. This one has a fly special that you will notice in my photos. Flying flies everywhere...got the kyoto latte this time - very smooth and good with a hint of sweetness - however not hot enough for a hot beverage.
google avatar

Lawrence L.

Yelp
Lots of love for this place. Lovely modern Japanese aesthetic, perfectly set in the renovated link lobby between the TTC and the GO in Union station. With the high ceilings, I'd say the space is even superior to the original locations found in Kyoto! Their feature lattes are the Kyoto and the Spanish which each contain differing levels of condensed milk. The Dark Latte is a mocha made with an in-house-made chocolate sauce. All of it is great. But I do recommend just getting an Americano to understand the true essence of their roasting. At about $6+ a cup, it's something I'd probably reserve for special visits and special occasions, but whenever you have a hankering do not hesitate to just make a detour on your commute to grab a cup.
google avatar

Brent F.

Yelp
Have tried the location in Seoul and found this one to be a bit off but close. The espresso is quite good and the matcha ice cream is very good but I found the staff very cold, unfriendly and somewhat unaccommodating. Probably still one of the better espressos you will find but the drinks do come with a higher price tag. Feels like a 3.5 for the price and service but they are probably still sorting some things out so rounding up to a 4.
google avatar

Ting H.

Yelp
First of all, let me start by saying how much I admire their minimalistic interior design and branding. Aesthetically pleasing and everything in the shop echoes their emphasis on quality and attention to details. The morning line up was long. The queue was outside of the store and was told that it would be at least 30 minutes wait. I didn't want to wait so I came back the next week after work and the line was so much more acceptable than the morning queue. It took me about 15 minutes to place my order and another 5 minutes or so to getting my order. I really appreciated the fact that the cashier took the time to explain to each and every customer the different flavour profiles as I know I can be indecisive when there are more than a few options to choose from. I ended up with their classic iced caffe latte and it was smooth and aromatic. It probably tastes better hot cus the ice diluted a bit of the coffee. I also tried their matcha soft serve and it was delicious. I usually don't like the bitterness in matcha but this one was creamy, not bitter, prominent and has the perfect balance of matcha flavor and sweetness. I also like the fact that I can get a 4 oz for the ice cream. Overall, I enjoyed their coffee and ice cream. I'll be back for other things on their menu.
google avatar

Susan H.

Yelp
New coffee shop in Union Station with Japanese roots. The store is a stark white and has really nice vibes. Unfortunately as it is newly opened, it is overwhelmingly full and coffee took 30 min to obtain. I did really enjoy the Kyoto Latte. It wasn't too bitter and had the perfect amount of sweetness for my liking. I was planning on having the almond croissant as well but they were sold out. I look forward to when the hype is over and I can become a regular here. 30 minute wait for my morning coffee is just too much.

Alapan A.

Yelp
When it opened, there were weeks of long lines. This is clearly a stylish spot, but it's also a case of style over substance. The coffee sizes are small, at high prices. They aren't as good as competition in the immediate vicinity - Brick Room and Pilot to name two. To top it off, the service is slow.
google avatar

Denise H.

Yelp
Long wait. Spanish lattee did not taste as good as the regular lattee. Service is not friendly at all and the atmosphere feels like a lab, it is not inviting. The iced lattee was really tasty on another visit at a different location.
google avatar

Alex C.

Yelp
This is a coffee shop in union. Coffee is average at best. Seems like it's more so a spot people go to for the design / instagram "vibes". Pros: + Vibes? Cons: - Overpriced. - Long lines. - Inefficient and inexperienced staff. For example, I saw a staff member refilling coffee beans when the machines were 90%+ full. And there were 5+ workers, but only one of them was taking orders. The lines are long not because there is an actual demand for it, but simply because the system they use for ordering makes no sense. - Coffee is average at best.
google avatar

Doug G.

Yelp
Located in the heart of union station I came her to have coffee with a friend around 8AM, short line up about a 10-15 minute wait, decent amount of seating available to have a chat and you're not in a rush. Great for people watching. Good ambiance across the board with this coffee chain, great aesthetic. Ordered a coffee and a matcha latte. Both high quality drinks.
google avatar

Wai L.

Yelp
I went to Arabica coffee shop before work. The hype has dropped down so the lineup wasn't too bad. I ordered the cafe latte. The cafe latte was pretty good, but I object to the price of $8.
google avatar

Ryan C.

Yelp
Happy this location finally opened! The interior design is really nice and store is quite spacious. Ordered the Kyoto Latte and unfortunately, was disappointed as they messed up the milk and coffee ratio. It was mostly milk. Service was good, but hoping they improve their drinks. Definitely not on par with their Asia locations.
google avatar

Lisa C.

Yelp
I wanted to try this place and see what the rage was all about. It's a beautiful coffee shop - modern, simple yet giving some sophisticated vibes. It looks like the lines died down and I only waited tops 10 minutes for my drink. I ordered an iced matcha latte. There was a strong matcha flavour and not too sweet. It was quite delicious yet I didn't order lactose free, and couldn't finish the whole drink. At the $8 price point it's quite steep, and was a only a treat and I think it will continue to be. Overall, I think it's a great coffee shop but not as great as the lines proved at the beginning.
google avatar

Steven W.

Yelp
Arabica serves a serviceable though slightly underwhelming Kyoto latte. The flavor is definitely on the mild, not so sweet side. Though I ended up appreciating the subtleness of the drink. The whole cafe is gorgeous and grand in scale, and sparkling clean despite the busy environs.
google avatar

Gini C.

Yelp
The service was good, not a long wait. Store is super clean and chill vibe. I ordered maple latter for a morning takeout. Four-star because they have maple teases very mild, taste almost like a typical latte. Kyoto latte is still my favourite. Coffee taste is light. It feels very light roasted, good if you're not looking for a strong cup of coffee.
google avatar

Doris L.

Yelp
Always good . Consistent with what I have in Hong Kong vs here. Just hate the lineup and happy it is shorter than the one in Yorkdale.
