Wanted to stop by to check the other reviews and this place delivered! Nice selection of fresh bread and pastries. The shop itself it's small, all their space it's covered by the laboratory. No coffe, no tables, no restrooms . Just The basics, done right. I'll definitely come back here to try their loaf and the chocolate babka. The peach Swirl is a must try!

Really loved the pork sausage hand pie and the tomato goat cheese quiche! All the other pastries also looked great and I’d definitely come back!

As you walk in, there it is, the smell of bakeries in Paris. Chocolate croissant was delish. Looking forward to eating the apple tart for dessert. Txs! And super friendly staff. Just got home with the tart, opened the box — a work of art. Wish I could convene the sweet tart baked smell of the apples, glaze and crust. Wowo Of course I had to get the mushroom quiche?/pie when I picked up the apple tart order. OMG. Run, sled, ski to this place. Crunchy, full of mushroom flavor, just the right balance with a fluffy egg filling. Yumm. Perfect lunch treat.

Excellent pastries and bread. It is a bit expensive, but don't be fazed: The products are good enough to be worth it. The pain au chocolat was the best of any of the local bakeries—beautifully flaky with good chocolate. The baguette had a crispy crust and good flavor. They also have some less common items, like the ratatouille handpie, which was yummy. Everything tastes just like it would at a boulangerie in France, so I wouldn't be surprised if the bakers were themselves French!

I expect that the few reviewers who thought the baked goods were dry may have been referring to the biscotti, which in my opinion is the best biscotti on the planet! Pixie's biscotti is made without butter which is the authentic Italian way to make it. They need to be dunked (in coffee in my opinion.) When they get dunked they become sublime! Biscotti should not be tender and crumbly like a butter cookie! I buy several packs at a time and freeze them. They freeze wonderfully. I will also say that the other baked goods I have tried have been loaded with butter --- the almond croissants are the best!

I’m not pleased to part company with $6 for a small danish. However, I must report to you it is worth the price! Totally delicious!!!

The Pixie Boulangerie is a new discovery for me. The pastries are excellent. So far we’ve tried the basque cheesecake, the quiche, the chocolate chip cookies, and the apricot swirl. All were very good, but the basque cheesecake and apricot swirl deserve special mention. The pastry in the apricot swirl was light, moist, and flavorful. The basque cheesecake is unique with the caramelized top. The staff is friendly. The prices seemed reasonable in our post inflation economy. Highly recommended.

I was passing through town after a ski weekend with my family and wanted to bring something home as a treat. I discovered this gem and I am SO mad I do not live close- you walk in and you can smell the quality of this bakery. I also saw on the front door their operating hours, with a line stating “or till we sell out” and I thought that was a great sign. The cookies I sampled were delightful. I had a chocolate chip, an oatmeal and another cookie with such a distinct spice to it (couldn’t tell you what that was, all I can say was WOW.) I also purchased a raspberry vanilla cake that was beautiful and delicious. If you live in the area or are visiting this cute town, don’t walk to this bakery, RUN! Oh, and I do believe the owner rang me up and she was very sweet.

Upon opening the door to this place your nostrils are filled with smells from the baking gods! Stopped in today to grab some croissants and they may be the best I have ever ha. its been 3 Christmas's in a row now and it has become a family tradition to have them every Christmas morning

Delicious! We stopped by while walking around GB and ordered a chocolate and almond croissant for breakfast. Both pastries were amazing! They also have a ton of other pastries to choose from as well! Just an FYI, there's no seating or coffee but the pastries were definitely worth stopping by for!

Phenomenal basque cheesecake and wonderful staff. I also enjoyed the scone. The cheesecake is where it's at!!!

This is a must try in Great Barrington! Off the beaten path, you'll find this little bakery that serves not only beautiful but absolutely delicious baked goods. Some savory options are available like veggie and cheese quiche and croissants to pork sausage hand pies. There is freshly baked bread in addition to the sweet options like fruit hand pies, tortes and tarts. Behind the counter you can see all the action where everything is baked, which is super cool. They do not have any drink options so you might want to plan on picking something up before or after if you're looking to devour these tasty treats immediately after exiting the store! The staff are super nice and offered great suggestions. Stop by and pick up some treats and you won't be disappointed!

I happened upon Pixie driving through Great Barrington. I had not read reviews; I had no expectations. I ordered a spinach hand pie and a savory herb scone. Both were spectacular. I can only say the breads and desserts looked similarly delicious. I will be making special trips to Great Barrington to get more of these stellar treats!

"Bread and wine, bread and wine your thoughts ain't nearly as wicked as mine' (The Cowboy Junkies) The Pixie Boulangerie has breads, but no wine, however the intoxicating aromas of their European baked goods will surely make your head spin as fast as a strong Madeira would. This place is a gem, pure and simple. We chatted with one of the owners, a delightful woman from Switzerland who told us a little about the different breads, babkas, tarts, galettes, croissants, pies, quiches, and cookies all around us. We decided on a chocolate croissant ($5) "Layers of buttery laminated dough in a cylinder around fine chocolate batons. Crispy and flaky, with a strong chocolaty flavor core", a Jambon Gruyère Croissant ($7) "German Black Forest ham and Swiss Gruyère cheese rolled inside a croissant", an Apricot Swirl ($3) "Bits of croissant dough swirled around a dollop of apricot jam in a little cup" and a big slab of Pesto Parmesan Focaccia (fresh from the oven) for $6. Each and every one was excellent -the croissants were flaky and grease-free, the Apricot Swirl was flaky, delicious and super moist, and that focacchia was savory and plain delicious. We really enjoyed shopping here, and of course we really enjoyed eating what we bought here!

Fabulous bakery. Breads, croissants, tarts, cheesecake. Excellent Authentic French baked goods; closest I have felt to Paris in years. Ordered the Basque Cheesecake to take to my Thanksgiving hosts.

Oh boy do I love this place. It's on my hit list for every trip to GB. It's an embarrassment of riches every time I visit. Everything I've tried as been phenomenal. Folks working there are super sweet as well!

One of our favorite bakeries when in GB. The challah and babka are extraordinary. I also love the green tea matcha cookies and apple tart. Everything is stellar!

Smelled amazing as we entered. Sadly, everything we tried was underwhelming. Some interesting options but all were mediocre, at best.

Literally the best bakery I have ever tried!!! Went 45 minutes (each way) to try this place (take out only) and it was well worth it. The almond croissant was ridiculous!!! Don't miss out on this one if you can't make it to France!

Some of the rudest people I've encountered here in The Berkshires. Customer service is absolutely terrible. A lot of the breads and pastries are reheated from the day before without being discounted. I have to hit a star to post this but if I could hit zero, or negative stars I would.

I cannot say enough great things about Pixie Boulangerie. Everything here is delicious especially the croissants. I was a little reluctant to write this review, because I'm afraid of them running out of my favorite pastries, but it's worth it. Do not miss if in the area.

I noticed the sign for Pixie Boulangerie last week and had to stop by on the weekend to give it a try. I headed into the bakery thinking I was only going to buy a few croissants, but I immediately saw so many incredible baked goods that had clearly just come out of the oven that I couldn't resist and ended up leaving with a loaf of multigrain bread and an apricot twist in addition to the croissants. Everything was incredible, and I can already tell a trip to Pixie is going to become a part of my weekend routine. I'm already looking forward to trying some new items from the menu this weekend!

Everything I have had is delicious....pastries, bread, sandwiches, cookies.....I have eaten both breakfast and lunch here on the same day - no regrets!

Loving this place. Really tasty selection at very reasonable prices. My son goes nuts for the matcha cookies.

What a gem in our Beautiful Berkshires! My husband is from Belgium and has longed for the baked goods of home. Pixie delights all of his senses, the smells, the sights of familiar treats, the feeling of love that is poured into their every creation, and of course the taste and perfect texture of what he remembers so well from his European roots. We drive nearly one hour from Williamstown specifically to indulge in their delicious creations.

Delicious crossaint s. Probably the best in town. Would love a great cup of coffee and a seat. It's a shame it's more of wholesale bakery feel because not everyone in GB is just running out for pan. Some of us are staying in a hotel with a Keurig.
