Rusty's Sandwich Parlour

Delicious sandwiches, the bread is perfectly toasted and so fluffy. Had the Cubano and Crispy Eggplant and both were tasty, the pork was juicy and eggplant has the perfect crunch. Great flavours, very reasonable price, have been a few times now and will be back again!

Oh my goodness, how good are these sandwiches! We were lucky enough to be staying in an AirBnB right across the road from Rusty's, so I had a Cubano sandwich one day for lunch, and then had a breakfast sandwich another day, and neither disappointed! So full of flavour and delicious, I would come back here in a heartbeat!

I honestly went in with pretty low expectations—like, how good can a sandwich really be? But Rusty’s totally proved me wrong. I ordered the Cubano and it was incredible—perfectly balanced, packed with flavour, and easily one of the best sandwiches I’ve had. I’m not entirely sold on the seasoning of the chips, but honestly the sandwich more than made up for it. I’ll definitely be back to try more.

Ev and the whole crew know how to make you feel welcome when you stumble in upon this great place. Fantastic coffee, good bantering and I’m 89% sure their breakfast sandwich is one of the best sangas of all time, especially when you add in halloumi!

This no-frills sandwiches bar in the heart of Brunswick is a hidden gem. I visited it in the morning after a run and enjoyed my post run cubano sandwich and coffee. The portion is generous for the price, and I ended up taking home another half. They also offer a breakfast set at $15 before 12 noon. It includes a breakfast sandwich and coffee, and it’s a steal if you’re in the area. I’ll definitely be back to try their other sandwiches.

Love this little place I’ve been twice and both times the sandwiches have been perfection. Super filling super delicious super fresh and they do an amazing gluten-free bun which is just great for me as someone who has been gluten-free for 20 years. I’ve tasted many gluten-free sandwiches and these might be the best ever

Great Atmosphere in an unassuming location. Cool tunes and great vibe going on. Ordered Rusty’s Chicken Sandwich. Plenty of room to eat in on the high chairs and tables or take away. Good quality hot coffee and the regular cold drinks on offer. WOW. First bite, soft roll and moist chicken mixed with the crunch of the red cabbage and spiced jalapeños. The flavours of the chicken and seasoning punches through and is softened by the light mayo. Well balanced portions with a nice crunch and soft spicy kick. Recommend

Great sandwiches! Soft buns, juicy and generous fillings. We had the Reuben and the fried chicken sandwich. Could have done without the tater tots but those were delicious as well. Great vegetarian options too.
