Royal St. Kitts Hotel

We stayed here for 3 weeks during November 2025 with family and friends. This is a lovely hotel with everything you need - Home from Home. The staff are pleasant, friendly and attentive to your needs. Blondelle and her team always available to assist whether it be organising transport or any requests in Reception. Michelle and Jessikha at Splash Bar and the restaurant area were lovely and friendly - service with a smile. Larry the Leisure Manager always enquired if you were ok and if there was anything he could assist you with. |The food at the restaurant and Splash Bar was very good nicely cooked. Best Arrabiata sauce I have ever tasted - and in England one of my favourite dishes at the Italian restaurants. Compliments to the Chef!|The hotel was exceptionally clean, rooms were cleaned daily and to a good standard. Fresh towels daily too. The rooms were so nice and had everything you needed from cooking facilities to utensils etc.|There was 12 of us in total and we have all said we would definitely stay again.|Well done to all the staff.|Best wishes James and Dorothy Fenton

Outstanding hotel! Check in was efficient and very professional with Zoe and Cjaye! Every time I walked by Cjaye she would call me by my name and ask how my vacation is going. The food here is amazing and very well priced. Darin the manager went above and beyond to ensure we were having a great time! Larry was able to get the Canadian Olympic hockey game on at the bar for us, not an easy hurdle. Location is perfect and there is lots to do in the area. We are definitely coming back!!!

This is an older hotel that has undergone a nice refresh. The lobby was bright and inviting, the room was very nice, clean, spacious, and staff were terrific. The restaurant was moved pool side and we were reluctant at first worried it would be pool shack type food, but the food was amazing. We ended up eating there on more than one occasion as it was very tasty with a good selection. We moved on to another leg if our trip and left St. Kitts but honestly wished we could have just returned to Royal St. Kitts for the remainder of our vacation.

We had a 2 bedroom suite with a kitchen. The room was spacious and clean. There was a grocery store right across the street which was so handy. We enjoyed our stay very much. We walked each night to the beach area to eat.

One of the best places to stay in Frigate Bay. Super friendly staff, spacious rooms and 2 big pools. It's not on the beach but I have no doubt that can arrange a spot on the nearby beach if needed. The restaurant is also very good.

In a prime area of the island. Supermarkets, “The strip” (strip of bars on the beach), plenty of restaurants on the hotel grounds and off hotel grounds. ALL within walking distance. However they do have taxi services on call if you need it. Rooms are great with a full kitchen. The only gripe i have with the hotel is there is no 24hr front desk/ concierge. So dont lose your keys or you’re out of luck.

I enjoyed the location and convenience of this hotel. The room was spacious, and the 2 pools made up for the fact that the hotel is not on the beach. The breakfast buffet was the best I've ever had due to the local options.

What a great place to stay. The staff was fantastic, both friendly and helpful during the whole week. Although we could have had daily room service, we've gotten used to not having this anymore, so we just kept the do not disturb sign on our door. On the other hand, if we needed anything, housekeeping provided it very quickly. We also used their laundry room one time. Fast, efficient machines. $3.50 USD each for a washer and dryer. Lets you pack less:) We had the one bedroom with kitchen, second floor, with our balconies facing the lagoon. The kitchen had most of what we needed except for baking trays. If you need those you can buy aluminum ones at Ram's next door. It was just a bit weird seeing so many cabinets in a kitchen pretty much empty though:) Maybe they have so many of them for people who stay long term? One really great thing about this hotel is it's location. You are within a 20 minute's drive from all the best beaches on the island (Frigate Bay, South Friars Bay and Cockleshell Bay Beach). You can walk to Frigate Bay Beach in under twenty minutes. We did these a few times at the end of the day to enjoy the sunset with drinks at Mr. X’s Shiggidy Shack. There are a number of other bars/restaurants along the strip as well. We also checked out the beach at the Marriott across the street. You are allowed to go there, just not use their chairs and umbrellas. Not sure if you can rent them. But to be honest, the water is not as calm on this side of the island. We saw plenty of guests at the beach there but no one in the water:) Note, the hotel provides beach towels. You just need to ask for them at the front desk. You can drop them off when you return and get fresh ones the next day. For the pool, you should be able to get towels at the pool itself, but just not sure how often they replenish them there. Ideally you have a car when you visit. There is free parking at the hotel and touring around the island is a must. And if you are there for at least a week, plan for a day visiting Nevis. Leave your car at one of the two parking lots at the port in Basseterre (only $2 USD). Both are close to the ferry terminal. We would definitely stay here again in the future.
