Maxi Grillen

Had wanted to try this place ever since seeing Anthony Bourdain’s visit. Ordered a Bajenrulle and Husses Specialrulle. Both were very tasty, hot and fantastic portions. The service was great and the small inside eating space basic but clean. A Stockholm experience not to be missed.

Ordered what I thought was a hot dog but turned out to be a wrap style dinner with sausage, mash potato and cabbage. Was very good but the frantic ordering system could have made the experience more enjoyable. Great for a late night snack though.

I stopped at Maxi Grillen because of Anthony Bourdain ❤️‍🩹 Their Tunnbrödsrulle did not disappoint, it was an unusual combination of stuff but really delicious. It can get really messy though, so get a lot of napkins and a set of cutlery. The benches outside are not the cleanest but this is street food at the end of the day. I wouldn’t mind having it again and again!

In the category of burger-stands, this is a good one. Friendly guys, seating for fiveish people inside. The only gripe is that the “smash” burger isn’t really smashed. Perhaps a once off… i recommend it if you’re looking for a more homemade texture than the max burger across the square

The best place to eat in Stockholm. The staff is extremely friendly and show great hospitality towards their guests. A clean place to eat and nice environment. Strongly recommend to visit this bistro and experience the great aura!!!

My last meal of the year. The workers were very friendly and kind with me. The also gave ne some sauces for free. The bacon smash burger was superb.

Don't believe the bad ratings you read about this bistro. I was a tourist in Stockholm and this was by far the best burger and fries I ate during my stay. The price was also more than fair. I loved it!

This wonderful grill is operated by very friendly staff, food is first class at reasonable prices. We were eating outdoors when heavy rain and operator assisted us to shelter inside, much appreciated Gerry Australia
