Step inside, go to the back, and climb the stairs; once you're upstairs, you’ll find a cozy dining area with high-top and seated tables, next to a sushi bar where you can sit and let its Japanese-trained chefs take excellent care of you. First, ask what’s local; say, just-caught yellowfin tuna, wahoo, or rockfish. If rockfish are biting, order the usuzukuri, thinly sliced sashimi with red onion, pink ginger, rice wine, and chili oil.
