Really enjoyed my meal here. The creamy pasta with beef was rich and flavorful, and the bingsu was refreshing and not overly sweet, definitely worth trying. The atmosphere is cozy and relaxing, perfect for dinner and drinks. The staff were very friendly and attentive, which made the whole experience even better. Will definitely come back!

Nice asian fusion place in the village. Menu has a nice variety of different types of dishes and everything tasted great. They also have a nice drink menu with a good selection of soju and sake. Staff were great and very accommodating to my friend's dietary requirements .

Definitely one of the best Korean bars in Toronto! The place is spacious, super clean, and beautifully designed with a classy vibe. The food tastes amazing and looks just as good. What really stands out is the service – the staff and the owner are incredibly friendly and make you feel so comfortable. They explain the dishes really well, so it’s easy to try something new without feeling intimidated. I keep coming back because of the great people and the atmosphere. Honestly, the coolest Korean bar in the city – 100% worth a visit🫶🏻

🌟 The food was outstanding — beautifully plated, full of flavour, and well-balanced. I especially recommend the [insert your favorite dish here, e.g., "Creamy Beef Belly Chili Pasta"] — rich, creamy, and perfectly spiced. 🌟 The service was warm and attentive. Staff made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in and were happy to answer our questions about the menu. 🌟 The atmosphere was cozy yet modern — a great place to enjoy dinner with friends or for a special night out.

Initially, the food tasted pretty good. The pasta was flavorful and the beef tartare was also presented well. HOWEVER, from that night, we suffered from extreme food poisoning and threw up for two days straight. I wish the restaurant would be more mindful of their hygiene or the quality of ingredients. I would not go back due to this traumatizing experience… ☹️

I visited for dinner and every dish was absolutely delicious! We had the Octo Steak, Creamy Beef Belly Chili Pasta, and Galbi Chicken. [Creamy Beef Belly Chili Pasta] It is a must-try!! It felt like a perfect balance between an oil-based and creamy pasta—the rich, creamy flavor paired with the subtle heat was incredibly harmonious. Honestly, it was better than most pastas I’ve had at Italian restaurants. [Octo steak] The octopus was unbelievably tender and paired so well with the crispy fried vegetables and mashed potatoes. [Galbi chicken] I’ve tried Korean fried chicken at many places in Toronto, but Kanari’s Galbi Chicken is top-tier. The meat was thick and juicy, and the sauce reminded me of a soy garlic flavor—absolutely delicious. The food also pairs really well with drinks, making it a great spot to enjoy with alcohol. On top of that, the servers were incredibly friendly and attentive. They explained each dish in detail, which made the experience even better. This place is perfect for a casual dinner or a slightly more special evening out. Highly recommend!

Came around dinner time and restaurant was empty so no need to reserve. The beef chili pasta was really good, creamy and filling. The beef fukomaki wasnt that good, beef tartare pressed sushi was ok, kimchi pancake was good, the sauce that came with was amazing. Tuna tataki was ok. Overall a cool place but the quality of the beef tartare wasn’t amazing

Does Kanari mean Korean Canari which gives a luck and hope? Not sure about the name but when I entered the room I was surprised how spacious (almost like a fancy lounge) and chairs seemed very comfortable and really liked big tables. I was greeted by both owner and wait staff, Hoon. They both were super friendly and treated us like friends or neighbors they have known for a long time. We immediately felt very comfortable to be there. Chicken Yu rin gi was very tasty and it went well with Asahi on draft. Owner( sorry I did not get your name) explained that they spend a lot of time to make the sauce with a bunch of vegetable stock. After Yu rin gi shared by two girls and the tower of draft beer, we were getting full and wanted to order a light dish. Hoon, our wait staff listened to what we wanted and recommended perfect food which was Tuna tataki. Tuna tataki was very refershing. Did not have a chance to try other food like galbi chicken, pork ribs, sukiyaki, pork belly bean sprouts stirfry. Definately need to go back for more drinks and food! Thanks again for your great hospitality!
