"Castle tour at Burg Liechtenstein Located just outside Vienna near Maria Enzersdorf, Liechtenstein Castle is a dramatic structure at the edge of the Wiederwald (Vienna Woods). Twice destroyed by the Ottomans in the 16th and 17th centuries, it was in ruins until 1884 when it was rebuilt at the height of European Romanticism and shortly after tours began. It is still owned by the Liechtenstein family. Guided tours last around an hour."

Beautiful and calm place. Very interesting inside. Guided in German and English at the same time. Guide did a good job. Worth to visit. The guide tour takes about an hour.

Beautifull caste just a few minutes from Vienna. The tour is every hour and lasts a little over an hour. It is not allowed to take pictures in the castle. The entrance fee is reasonable. Parking near the castle is only for residents, visitors must park in a large free parking lot about half a kilometer from the castle. I recommend combining the visit with the nearby cave Seegrote.

This romantic and idyllic medieval castle comes with lots of interesting stuff to see. I enjoyed the visit. However, there are only guided tours available which denies the possibility to discover some parts of the publicly available sights in more detail. Descriptions are in German only. The guides speak good English though and very eager to answer your questions. I loved this place, recommended!

A beautiful castle worth visiting just outside of Vienna, and the tour guide was very kind and polite!

I have really mixed feelings about that place. From the outside the castle is beautiful, I really recommend walking there, around, but the problem for me was that it is not allowed to take photos inside, and what is the worse information about that wasn’t provided at the ticket office before purchasing tickets, so going there for a tour with a guide was a complete waste of time and money. What is more the guide is more focused on opening and closing the door than on sharing any information. There is really little time spend in each of the rooms, and without taking photos what is crucial for me it is even worse. I don’t recommend purchasing tickets and going inside
