Update — February 2026:
🌟🌟
I truly don’t understand what their problem is. 💔
The coffee is delicious, but the service and attitude have become infuriating. The baristas consistently act arrogant and dismissive. It feels like you’re stupid for simply wanting a coffee. They don’t even maintain a neutral tone; they gesture instead of speaking and barely acknowledge you. I’ve seen it happen to other customers too, so it’s not just us.
This past Sunday around 12–1pm,
We ordered a double shot espresso, cappuccino, 2 danish (soooo yum)(pains me to have horrible barista interactions when their coffee is so good)
My boyfriend ordered a double shot espresso. We prefer getting it in the dine in glass cups instead of to-go cups, so we already had the small shot glass at our table.
I was sitting down and when he came back to our table, it looked like a single shot. He had paid for a double. He went back to clarify with the barista — the one who looks like Benny Blanco — and was told that what he was given was a double shot. No explanation, barely any words, just gestures and asking for the receipt.🫴🏼
At that point we were already tired of the constant inconveniences that seem to happen every time we go. ✨We genuinely want it to work because the coffee is good.✨ I suggested comparing the liquid difference visually, but my boyfriend ended up speaking to the owner instead. The owner told the barista to remake the double. 🍷It was then served in a wine glass, which honestly felt like a passive-aggressive move. As we were leaving, the 🤌🏻Benny Blanco look-alike barista was staring my boyfriend down. When my boyfriend asked if there was a problem, he backed off and said no.
❌We swear this was the last time. The coffee is great, but the repeated attitude makes it not worth it.❌
I don’t understand how corto staff can be so cold when the owner is a likeable person????
We’re not expecting ritz Carlton treatment. Just the basic neutral positive tone and energy. Cheers and good luck in finding positivity Corto baristas!🍀

Update — October 2025:
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
We almost go every weekend or every other weekend. This time I tried their frozen yogurt. As a frozen yogurt fanatic, we did not like it. It was kind of heavy but watery at the same time — just not quite right. Not a fan.
🙌🏼The cappuccinos, on the other hand, are still so good. Truly delicious.

Original Review- September 2025:
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Corto Brooklyn is one of my favorite coffee spots. The Severini focaccia with a cappuccino (I always ask for a bit of honey) is my go-to combo — so delicious. It’s about $25 per person for coffee and a sandwich.🍳
It does get busy, but it’s absolutely worth the wait. I especially love sitting outside on the sidewalk terrace, it makes the experience even better. A true neighborhood gem.🩷
