We went to this hotel for two nights, overall the location of the hotel in general was great. Arriving to our room, we changed our mind drastically. The bed cover had stains, we found an old knife from someone else lying between the furniture and the walls were quite dirty. Not sure if this could have been mold. Shower was rusty. Our room was facing a generator or some sort of air conditioner which was running loudly all day and night, not a chance for relaxation. In fact the AC in our room failed to be switched off, so it was freezing cold all night. I’ve told the receptionist all of it when checking out, on her request. Didn’t seem to be okay to have an opinion about our stay after being asked if everything was alright. We are surely not coming back.

On the positive: the flora and fauna on the property are exceptional. There are all kinds of gorgeous plants and trees, flowers, animals including chicken, deer, many wild birds et cetera, that make this place a true natural gem. However, the practical part of the hotel is somewhat worse. The quality of our room was not great. The doors didn’t open without pushing very hard, there was no WiFi (nor cellular) connection in the room and poor service outdoors on the property, the mattress was of poor quality causing back pain for my wife. Half of the electric sockets in the room were non functional. The location is fine and the surroundings are very beautiful. Overall it’s a beautiful place with a bit neglected rooms. For the price however it offers great value. Thank you.

We were a bit reluctant to book our holidays in Sa Bassa Plana due to quite mixed reviews, but here is our experience, we decided to go for it. The first and most important thing is that the rooms look exactly like they were presented on the website, really modern and fresh, also all the facilities are clean and functional. There are plenty of exotic plants in the garden and of course spectacular vineyards. I do not understand people complaining here about location as it is well indicated where the place is and what is the distance to the nearby beaches, towns etc. so yes you just need a car, but from Sa Bassa Plana it's really close distance to drive pretty much anywhere to nice beaches around, and even to Palma is a short drive. As for our needs the staff was there helpful and ready to answer any questions. What else do you expect in the peak of the summer season? I just would not say it's small family run business as most of the guest are rather anonymous as there is many rooms and guests at the same time, unless you stay longer you may have some more engaging conversation with staff and owners. Great value for the money.

Such a beautiful place to stay on your vacation. Very relaxing environment and clean rooms. Basic but fresh breakfast. The garden is like you are on a movie, you can spot all the stars during night since the sky is clean. Animals are roaming freely around. You will live a real Spanish cottage experience.

We stayed here for 6 nights + it was wonderful. |It’s just so peaceful + relaxing being here, we had the best time. ||There’s 3 pools to choose from, that are never overcrowded, often you have one to yourself. The location is stunning, places in the middle of a vineyard, the grounds are kept beautifully clean, theres farm animals to go and see too. The staff are very friendly + multilingual. The rooms are great + cleaned daily. We didn’t try the evening food as we chose to eat out but the breakfast was lovely, as well as the wine we enjoyed in the evening. ||We did have a car and we’re able to explore the surrounding areas which are stunning, naturally beautiful and not magaluf-esque. Cala pri and s’arenal de sa rapita are a must for stunning beaches! ||We would definitely come again! |Thank you, Sa Bassa Plana!

What a great experience we had at Sa Bassa Plana, the hotel was very clean and so was the room. Our stay there was pleasant and very welcoming. The staff was always smiling and helpful, we had the breakfast buffet every morning and was nice to wake up and all is ready and fresh. The place itself was amazing, a bit far out, but so relaxing, if you do not want noise around you. The pools were clean and seeing all the animals running around was great. The wine tasting was also a great experience we shared with the team whom was helpful and professional. I totally recommend this hotel for a relaxing and/or romantic get-away!

We stayed here for 6 nights while on our honeymoon. |The hotel is set in beautiful grounds surrounded by vineyards and fields with deer roaming free. The ground are immaculately kept and there are 4 main buildings to the hotel with 3 swimming pools (2 outdoor, 1 indoor) in a very secure site with gate access from the main road. |The rooms are comfortable, clean and had nice shower, balcony and TV included and were cleaned every morning. ||They make their own wine on site and is very nice and very cheap and they allow you to drink by the pool. ||The hotel is beautiful but lacks attention to detail. |Due to the amount of German people staying at the hotel all the signposting regarding dinner and other info were in german, no English and not even Spanish! |The staff actually assumed we were German and spoke to us in German on numerous occasions. Also, the rooms did not have a welcome Pack so we were left chasing down the staff who spoke very little English to find out about booking dinner, how to rent car etc. ||Also the hotel is set in hundreds of acres of land with vineyards etc but there was no info whatsoever on the estate, wine production or if the food used for dinner all came from the estate. So they are definitely missing a trick on that!||If you are wanting to eat dinner at the hotel booking is essential first thing in the morning as it is a set menu. We had the paella which was beautiful. |The breakfast is great and is served 8-10:15 with everything you need and served in a buffet style. Fresh bread, cereal, fruit, cheeses, pastries etc. All great! ||The staff were very helpful and friendly but as I said before they shouldn't assume everyone is German. ||Overall the hotel is set in beautiful location and the grounds are immaculately kept, staff are very nice and helpful. Clean rooms and beautiful swimming pools but just lacks some attention to detail that would|Make the stay perfect!||

We spent one week here. It's a nice and quiet finca but they need to invest in the family apartments. The apartment has one bedroom and a living room with a sofa and a kitchenette, so are not 2 separate bedrooms and a living room with kitchenette as we thought, this was disappointing because they've let you know from the pictures otherwise, even though we've sent them several emails and asked about it and other info before we went, didn't got any reply. The bedroom and the living room are separated by some sort of door shutters, not even a wall, ther's a gap between this door and the ceiling. There aren't 2 double beds as we understood from the pictures, there is just one double bed and one shaggy sofa. The bathroom really needs improvement too. The hairdryer is sooo old and you can basically dry your hair outside in the sun and it's still faster than the hairdryer. It's useless. The kitchenette it's fully equipped with kitchenware, dishes and a small fridge.|Even though the conditions weren't as expected, the personnel was nice and friendly, helped us with everything they could. The finca was really clean and taken care of, pools were cleaned too. A full buffet breakfast included. You can dine there also (17 euro for 3 courses/person) but needed to tell them in the previous morning. For dinner it's a la carte menu, so you don't have from where to choose.|They have a huge vineyard with sweet grapes. You can visit it in an organised tour.|The vegetation from the finca it's nice too: figs, pomegranates, oranges, palm trees, huge ficuses, lemons and cactus.I helped myself with some figs and were delicious. Also have a yard with dears which was cool too.|Definitely a car is needed because it's far from the beach, aprox 5km and far from any city or market.
