We stayed with my wife in this hotel for 9 nights. I would like to share my impressions. Pros: - the hotel is located in the countryside, on its huge territory, representing vineyards and home farming: deer, pigs, chickens - there is something to see on the territory of the hotel and it is away from the hustle and bustle of the city and tourists. - There are umbrellas for the beach which are free to take with you. - The staff are friendly and obviously try to satisfy guests in everything. Cons: - we lived in a block of rooms where a booth with a running fan was installed in front of the building (the purpose of the booth is unknown to me, obviously it is needed), but it had a fan running 24/7 with short breaks and created noise that was audible even with the windows closed, which interfered with sleep. This problem is obviously with one of the hotel blocks and only on one side. So you may not be as lucky as we were. - Breakfast although includes the necessary base: eggs, bread, cheese, sausage, cereal, yogurt, but in general in my opinion very meager. and if you stay for many days, can get bored. - The rooms are quite tired, need renovation. - For 9 nights of stay, the linens were never replaced. Remarks: - mattress is hard and not suitable for everyone, pillows are cheap. So if you have sensitive sleep, keep this in mind. Considering written above i would rate hotel with 3,5 Stars, but next time being in Mallorca i would chose a different hotel.

Very good breakfast. The location make the hotel close (40 min) to various beaches. The is very comfortable, but if you need anything related to your room, is only possible to ask it to the cleaners in the morning. Afternoon they say it’s not possible to do anything (even get a new pillow) which made me a little upset.

Nica and quiet place to stay. Ok rooms, good breakfast, nice with animals around. Hard beds and pillows. Dinners was no more than ok, so it’s might the best to east in som places in near bye. Not good service in resturant/reseption, not good

We had a lovely stay at Sa Bassa Plana. The hotel is located in a very remote area in the Mallorcan countrysinde, which is really quiet and peaceful (but a car is necessary!). The location is surrounded by vineyards and several animals like deers are living there. A highlight was a small chicken family that was freely roaming around the hotel. The location is perfect to have a peaceful base to explore the island :) Also, there are 3 pools that were mostly empty during our stay and can be used 24/7. So I recommend going for a night swim and enjoying the surroundings far away from the party areas!

On the positive: the flora and fauna on the property are exceptional. There are all kinds of gorgeous plants and trees, flowers, animals including chicken, deer, many wild birds et cetera, that make this place a true natural gem. However, the practical part of the hotel is somewhat worse. The quality of our room was not great. The doors didn’t open without pushing very hard, there was no WiFi (nor cellular) connection in the room and poor service outdoors on the property, the mattress was of poor quality causing back pain for my wife. Half of the electric sockets in the room were non functional. The location is fine and the surroundings are very beautiful. Overall it’s a beautiful place with a bit neglected rooms. For the price however it offers great value. Thank you.

We stayed here for 6 nights + it was wonderful. |It’s just so peaceful + relaxing being here, we had the best time. ||There’s 3 pools to choose from, that are never overcrowded, often you have one to yourself. The location is stunning, places in the middle of a vineyard, the grounds are kept beautifully clean, theres farm animals to go and see too. The staff are very friendly + multilingual. The rooms are great + cleaned daily. We didn’t try the evening food as we chose to eat out but the breakfast was lovely, as well as the wine we enjoyed in the evening. ||We did have a car and we’re able to explore the surrounding areas which are stunning, naturally beautiful and not magaluf-esque. Cala pri and s’arenal de sa rapita are a must for stunning beaches! ||We would definitely come again! |Thank you, Sa Bassa Plana!

We were a bit reluctant to book our holidays in Sa Bassa Plana due to quite mixed reviews, but here is our experience, we decided to go for it. The first and most important thing is that the rooms look exactly like they were presented on the website, really modern and fresh, also all the facilities are clean and functional. There are plenty of exotic plants in the garden and of course spectacular vineyards. I do not understand people complaining here about location as it is well indicated where the place is and what is the distance to the nearby beaches, towns etc. so yes you just need a car, but from Sa Bassa Plana it's really close distance to drive pretty much anywhere to nice beaches around, and even to Palma is a short drive. As for our needs the staff was there helpful and ready to answer any questions. What else do you expect in the peak of the summer season? I just would not say it's small family run business as most of the guest are rather anonymous as there is many rooms and guests at the same time, unless you stay longer you may have some more engaging conversation with staff and owners. Great value for the money.

Such a beautiful place to stay on your vacation. Very relaxing environment and clean rooms. Basic but fresh breakfast. The garden is like you are on a movie, you can spot all the stars during night since the sky is clean. Animals are roaming freely around. You will live a real Spanish cottage experience.
