What an incredible experience! Nicolas, the owner and server, made the night so personal and welcoming — you can tell he truly cares about every guest. We think it is a new restaurant; his second. He wants to make sure it is outstanding.
Begona was cooking the meal and happened to be behind us in the kitchen. Such a lovely lady who was happy enough to advise us on the food. She was amazing.
The food was incredible from start to finish. The butter was unbelievable (yes, the butter! I couldn’t believe how good the butter was!!), the octopus was cooked perfectly, and the beef tartare was spot on (no egg but amazing seasoning). The ceviche was fresh and vibrant, the raw red tuna dish was just awesome, and the pea risotto was absolutely delicious.
Both the white and red wines were excellent and paired beautifully with the dishes.
This place is a gem — amazing food, amazing wine, and Nicolas makes you feel like you’re dining with friends. Highly recommend! I’m pretty critical and this place is beyond words.
