This is one of the friendliest hotels we have ever been to, if not the friendliest. From the moment we entered reception we were greeted by the lovely Marina and Bretana. We had communicated with both of them prior to our arrival, all our correspondence was answered promptly and informatively, together with a very personal touch. The reception staff and restaurant personal were very happy to make recommendations of where to visit and where to eat. All the recommendations we that we used were excellent!|On our arrival, we enquired if there were any other rooms available, as when my husband initially booked the only available room was the smallest room in the hotel. We were very lucky to be offered a couple of alternatives although the hotel was extremely busy. The room we selected was perfect, views of the sea and mountains, beautifully furnished and it had its own little outdoor seating area.|There is a lovely relaxed terrace area so we took the opportunity to enjoy our welcome drink, chilled cava. We then had to have a plate of Iberico jamon and crystal tomato, the perfect combination!|All meals are available to be served outside, but the night we arrived the weather was a bit chilly and damp, so everyone had to move inside to the characterful dining room. The menu would suit any palate and the service was personable and professional! We were fortunate that every morning we were able to sit outside. The fresh orange juice, marmalade, jam and croissants were scrumptious! The breakfast menu was extensive and everything was extremely well cooked and presented. Once again, the service was incredibly friendly and nothing was too much trouble, perfection.|We had a truly wonderful stay and the fact that it only has eleven rooms, a couple of them with private pools, I think, make it first class boutique hotel and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.
