Sa Piola

I recently had the pleasure of dining there, and it was, without a doubt, the best seafood experience I’ve ever had. The seafood was impeccably fresh and masterfully prepared. Each dish showcased the chef’s dedication to quality and flavor, leaving my taste buds in awe. The variety and presentation were top-notch, making it a feast for both the eyes and the palate.  But the culinary journey didn’t stop there. The dessert was equally impressive - rich, flavorful, and the perfect ending to an already outstanding meal. The staff were attentive and knowledgeable, enhancing the overall experience with their warm hospitality. If you’re in Cagliari and have a passion for seafood, Sa Piola is an absolute must - visit. I would rate it 6 out of 5 if I could!

Very cozy. The food is brilliant, the service is kind. Make a reservation just to be sure because it's quite small.

The dinner was great, I had an amazing pasta to start with and slowcooked lamb as main. The lamb fell of the bone. The sauce it came in was amazing and I finished that with the bread they served on the side. My significant other had a great lemon soup with clams and slowcooked beef as main. Both dishes where great. The slowcooked/braised beef was my personal favorite.

Nice food. The seafood pastas and seafood soup (photographed) were nicer than the other mains in our opinion We got the cod and it wasn’t a nice. Service was attentive.

I can not understand these negative reviews i have read about this place. Me and my girlfriend went here for our final dinner in Sardinia and oh my god! The food was absolutely perfect, the waiters catered to all of our needs and helped us pick a perfect wine. The Tuna carpaccio with soy and oil was the best pre course we have eaten during our two weeks here. Fresh, succulent, silky smooth and delicate. The perfect modern twist on an old classic. The fregola was also absolutely amazing. We have eaten a lot of fregola during our two weeks, but this one was miles ahead of the competition. Perfectly balanced flavours and beautiful mouthfeel. Tourists who have read these negative opinions about the staff and their treatment of tourists. This was absolutely false and we were treated with the same warmth and hospitality as the italian patrons.

The best fregola I've had in Sardinia so far. Very good beef steak. Good wine selection, attentive and friendly service. Prices are on higher level, but worth every cent.
