Nice place to visit and beautiful place to take photos! Instagrammable views, next to the highway and the Tanjung Lipat beach. But the staff there were opposite of polite. I can only say positive things, so they were very (opposite of) soft to guests. Almost all of the visitors were being (opposite of) “whispered” at. Locals no need to pay, but foreigners, yes.

Outside view was nice but i recommend not to go inside because there’s not much inside since they are praying inside and it just limited area you can look.

We would not deny the beauty of the mosque and finds that there are unique features within the mosque itself.
There is a water feature that is at the back of the main hall. And the stairs are uniquely Sabah. There are also small pockets branched out from main hall towards the carpark.
These pockets are for toilets and ablution.. we also noticed that these branches are rather stretched out which makes it a bit of a challenge for those less-abled, thus the need to put in more effort to get wudhu and pray.
We also observed that there is a vast area to park vehicles. This carpark is a shared space with the Souq beside, which you can check out from our images uploaded.
We do feel lines can be drawn/painted to identify Qiblat and avoid mistaken direction during solat. There are preconstructed lines due to design, which is pretty but are less practical.
Another improvement that we may need to share is the ladies prayer area, maybe it could be slightly enlarged. This would help our family members come and entice them to the mosque.
All in all, the mosque is pretty and has very functional designs. Walk around and let the mosque captivate you with its' beauty.

Very beautiful mosque, which makes an impression. In the vicinity of this mosque you can come across a poor district, so this is a trip for someone who is not afraid of that. However, everywhere is very safe, so there is nothing to worry about. If someone has some free time in Kota Kinabalu, you can visit this mosque, but it is not a place from the category of "must have"

Big mosque, I visited here for my prayer at noon time with my husband and ladies have separate entrance and paths are comfortable and have good space to pray here with necessary clothes (long hijab sets) and washrooms. Visitors are allowed and more pigeons are there. Subhanallah..
