We stayed in a bungalow for 10 days in early September. The rooms are simple with a wardrobe and electrical outlets, a small bathroom and two comfortable beds. The bungalow was very clean, private and had air conditioning (when we needed) it and good airflow from the windows. ||We spent very little time in the room because the communal lounge cabanas are incredibly comfortable. We lounged there for hours, reading, napping, eating and drinking. The cabanas have electrical sockets for charging and the wifi is very good. In the evening after dinner, when the temperature dropped a little, they gave us blankets so we could stay out there and listen to some of the live acoustic music being played from places down the road. It was never loud, just the perfect volume. ||||We booked Saban because we read so many good things about the food. and it's true, the food is fantastic! Meral and her mother cook delicious meals every night. We had stuffed peppers, zucchini fritters, cucumber and mint salad, fresh, crisp salads, vegetable stews, sauteed beans, moussaka. And always lots of bread. We are veggies but there were also several meat selections. There were so many things to chose from and there was always more than enough for seconds. And they encourage you to eat as much as you like. The breakfasts were also very good, always the same selection of fruits, cheese, veggies and cereals, and a freshly prepared omelette. ||And then there is Meral. What can I say about her that hasn't already been said? She's warm, smart, worldly, educated and kind. I loved our conversations and her big open view of the world from her small resort.||In the background, her mother, brother and staff also do really great work but it's Meral who made this a 5 star budget experience for us.||||Many thanks,||Ward and Trevor
