Sabana Beach Resort

I love this place. I have been here more than five times. The staff is friendly, attentive and makes us feel welcomed throughout our stay every time. We stayed in the family villa right in-front of the beach, which is quite and well equipped. It’s enjoyable on its own. The two things that bother me are the power outages at night and the rocks by the beach. It’s not mostly sand.

So much lovelier than I expected! Excellent peaceful stay here. The grounds were thoughtfully designed and well taken care of. Bungalow was extremely clean and well maintained and very comfortable, with lovely views out on the lake. The staff were all friendly and solicitous. Took kayaks out on the lake, and they were well outfitted. Really a well managed place. I would highly recommend!

Rooms are nice, but no air conditioning, although it's not needed during the night. But it would be nice during the day. The beach is a long hike down stairs and is gravel, not sand. The lake water didn't look particularly inviting for swimming being a caramel brown color. Power was out most of the day. Wifi is only available when power is on and only in the restaurant, not the rooms.

I visited this beautiful place last weekend. Everything was fine, except for the rude behavior of the morning restaurant staff. They were dealing with us as if they are doing us a favor. If you ask them for more than 1 egg, they will roll their eyes and make faces as if you have asked something which was not permitted at all. They also lack basic table manners, though you have not finished your meal, they still start cleaning your table, completely ignoring you. Restaurants staff needs to be trained.

This hotel is in a lovely spot. The management could spend more time on maintenance and cleaning. The mountain bikes don’t work, the jacuzzi is broken, the venicular hasn’t worked in years, etc. The trash bins were full the entire time we were here and the maid didn’t come at all because we had a do not disturb sign on the door during breakfast.||The staff is good, we had massages and they were great. The kayaks were good, as we got out and explored the shoreline. The cooks make nice food, and we enjoyed our meals, here.|||||

Great resort. Cabin/bungalow price was reasonable by European standard around 100$ Room was comfortable and clean and included a stocked mini fridge. The private terrace was also great to use. The only thing missing is a fan in each of the rooms. Otherwise I had a great stay and can recommend

Nice escaping place from Addis. Enjoyed our stay at Sabana. Environment is amazing. Its clean and the staff is helpful. There are things can be done better but its still fine. Just be aware that the hotel doesn’t accept debit/credit cards and there is no atm inside the hotel. You need transfer the money to their account or come with a cash.

I had a great time. The place is so peaceful and so quite. it gives you the opportunity to connect with nature.
