I stayed here for two weeks in October 2025 and it was really a great experience. The people the staff the building itself is Historical everything about it. It was great the location 20 minutes from my Tango salon in 12 minutes to the nature sanctuary and I could walk to Teatro Colon. so it was really lovely people. There are great. You’re going to enjoy yourself if you stay.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I didn’t end up staying at Sabatico Hostel, but I want to highlight the amazing help I got from Isabel, who’s from Bahia, Brazil. She took the time to explain everything about Buenos Aires with such warmth and respect, and she really knows the city well. You can feel she genuinely cares about helping people and loves what she does. Even though I didn’t stay this time, if I ever do, it’ll definitely be at Sabatico — mostly because of Isabel’s kindness and professionalism.

First off, the staff, Lucas and Eugene deserve 5 stars. As a tandem, I would put them amongst the best I have encountered in the world. They were fun, informative, intelligent, courteous, helpful. Unfortunately, they are no longer there. Check in was fabulous. They let me in early. The hostel is spacious. There are many bathrooms. They have paper towels! Always a plus. The dining area is spacious. The cleaning lady did an excellent job. The room (4 bed dorm) is small. It was ideal for the one roommate I had, but I can't imagine fitting 4 people and luggage in there. The location is great. Other than the vibration that you can hear/feel from buses passing thru, it is quiet. It is within walking distance to many attractions, and a short subway commute to Palermo.

This hostel is well located and the staff is friendly and very helpful. The common area and the kitchen are great. The shared rooms, however, are terrible. There's no air conditioning and the only way to get some (small) relief is through a very noisy fan. I personally barely slept. If you are a light sleeper, this is not where you want to spend the night.

It was very expensive for a hostel when I was there. They don't let you rent towels with a card. Good A/C in rooms. Room keys suck though. Bathrooms are very very tiny and not very clean. The showers are very industrial and dirty. No hooks to put your clothes or towel.

I lived at the guesthouse/hostel for about 6 months (exchange student). The guesthouse in general lacked heating, the oven did not really work properly (but that might be user error) and one of the showers did not have hot water. The hostel was better (moved there after 3-4 months). The service was very good and the hostel was very social. It was also very nice to have the choice to participate in different activities every day. The internet could be better, it was sometimes a bit unstable while studying in my room. All in all, quite happy with my stay.

The hostel is at a very good location, it's close to a main road but still very quiet. We could pay in pesos, of course, and I only removed this one star because I found it a bit pricey. The staff was super friendly and helpful and the room - though basic - clean and comfy. What I really liked is that they have activities for every day, so we learned how to make empanadas and really enjoyed it. We had a good time even though we were by far the oldest ones there :D

Nice hostel, good facility, good people. Wifi was a little spotty, non-existent in my room. There were plenty of stairs to climb to get to my room, pretty important to either carry a flashlight or learn where the light switches are located. The activities were fun, we watched a good movie on movie night.

Yelp
Great hostel in BA, it is about 30 mins car ride from the EZE airport (about 2 hours if you are taking the bus) you can arrange pickup from airport with them and the price is the cheaper than getting taxi at the airport or Uber. The shower and bathrooms are separate which is great. The dorm room for four is a bit tight if all beds are occupied. Wifi works. I liked the notes they passed out about BA, one of the warning is if someone dropped paint on you, keep walking, it is a trap. That warning is very helpful (someone I know had the same thing happened to him). The staff here are very friendly and engaging. It is near the historical center and most of places are walkable.
