We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sabay Beach. Our tree house was super relaxed with nice views of the garden. We spent an afternoon just reading from our terrace surrounded by greenery.||The restaurant was phenomenal with excellent food. They had excellent western and Khmer food. Also really good wine.||Special mention to the front of house staff, Pagedey, Lee and Mizzy and the team. They were incredibly warm, friendly and hospitable. They went out of their way to make sure we had an enjoyable stay. Overall we couldn’t recommend this place more.

A wonderful place to stay in Kampot! About 5 to 10 minutes drive away from town.||The staff were lovely and we feel we have friends in Cambodia now, should we visit again, we would hang out with Mizi, Lee and G'day as friends. They made our stay fantastic, particularly Mizi who we spent the most time with. ||The staff work tirelessly to make your stay wonderful. The pepper cocktails were great. We ate dinner & breakfast every single day in the hotel, the food here was incredible.||I loved reading my book in the various comfortable spots around the hotel: hammocks, hanging chairs, circular cushioned seats. There were so many comfy seating areas.||We liked our room, we had a bungalow room rather than a tree house. The price for the hotel is incredibly reasonable. ||We would highly reccomend and if you visit soon, please say hello to Mizi, Lee & G'day for us!||PS: if you're a cat lover, you're in for a treat with a number of adorable friendly cats roaming around! We loved them.

We stayed at Sabay Beach for four nights, and it was an absolutely magical experience. The location is peaceful, surrounded by nature, and away from the city. The rooms were comfortable, and the beds were incredibly cosy. But the best part? The food! Breakfast, lunch, and dinner were all outstanding—we couldn’t get enough! Every meal was something to look forward to, and the drinks were amazing as well. The hotel offers plenty of spots to relax, whether it’s in a hammock, on the beach, or just by the river enjoying the view. The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating, making everything effortless. We highly recommend Sabay Beach to anyone visiting Kampot!

This was such a fun experience! We are a family of four plus a dog and this hotel was great! The river view was amazing with a cute little floating dock. Everyone loved swimming. The drain in the shower drained quite slowly however other than that the room was very clean and nice, and made good use of space. The restaurant was also nice and had very quick service. Although it is a bit overpriced it was still worth it. Overall very nice hotel and would recommend when staying in Kampot.

My husband and I stayed here for our 10 year anniversary! We splurged and got the room that overlooks the water. If you are okay without AC (they had a fan) then it is so worth it! The view was stunning! The restaurant was amazing we went back the next night! We did the Nibi spa and the countryside Tuk Tuk and both were incredible! The staff were awesome, they were super friendly and helpful!! Keep in mind you are off the water, there will be bugs and wildlife, but the view and the sound of bamboo reeds blowing in the wind was well worth it.

The atmosphere is fantastic! |This is my second visit after 3 years, and it’s just as wonderful as I remembered. I stayed in AC room, nice room. The staff are friendly and attentive, making sure everything is perfect. I tried the cocktails, and they’re among the best I’ve had, especially while watching the sunset in the evening. The food is also exceptional—delicious with beautiful presentation.

The location is perfect. The food is amazing and the treehouses are so, so cool! Just a bit too hot for us though to only have a fan! Definitely a great spot for the cool season!

Stayed for two nights after detouring from Battambang. We had initially booked a treehouse and the wonderful Misy carried our suitcases up three near vertical flights of stairs. We decided that our knees were not quite capable of the climb each night and he cheerfully carried our suitcases back down and organised a family room for us instead. Sanbay Beach is a beautiful small retreat out of Kampot and Misy made our stay pleasurable and comfortable.
