From the moment we were greeted by the lodge management couple Conrad & Retha, to the moment we were waved off by our guide & tracker team of Jana & Nhlanhla it was absolute perfection! ||The lodge is elevates with an amazing view over an open grass area & watering hole, frequented by lots of animals. The food was exceptional, especially the boma dinner with the wild kitchen serving zebra & kudu. Our suite was on another level! Beautifully designed & decorated bedroom, bathroom, lounge & study area. 5* luxury at it's very best. The personal touched like hand written welcome notes, complimentary mini bar, turndown service and so much more, were really special. Waterbuck & nyala, are cruising around the camp most of the time as they feel safe there away from predators.||But most of all the trip was taken into another universe by Jana & Nhlanhla on the game drives. I feel almost embarrassed to list everything we saw, but aside from the Big 5, the highlights included a den of hyena pups, rhino mum & calf, a pride on lionesses & cubs, stunning female leopard, ele calves, and most spectacular of all - the 2 male lions within touching distance! Jana's knowledge was mind-boggling! My partner and I ask a lot of questions and Jana knew the answer to every-single-one, accompanied by a story or extra info! Nhlanhla and Jana make a superb team, especially when off-roading! We were in the best viewing position every time! On top of that, Jana was just a lovely human - kind, sincere, and accommodating. The world is her oyster.||We were both quite emotional after a couple of the drives, and of course when we left. It changes your outlook on life so profoundly. The greater Kruger is magical, but the magician is Sabi Sabi Bush Lodge. So grateful to everyone there.
