We stayed in the Boom Boom room. A very unique room to say the least. A sauna. A steam room. A Himalayan salt wall. The room was extremely comfortable to sleep in, but the lack of a table and chair bothered both of us slightly - everything is low to floor. Sometimes you just want to sit at a normal height. Also, beware that the stairs leading to the space are narrow and steep - if you're carrying large bags, you'll find it challenging unless you are completely fit. And I kept banging my damn head into those funky hanging lights that look ominously like wasp's nests.
The hostess was completely available to us at all times, and successfully helped us navigate into the building for the first time. There are several other units in the building, some of which have a shared bathroom - we had a private potty in the Boom Boom room.
The location can't be beat - you are literally at the foot of the Old Town, and proximate to the main pedestrianized area of the city - fabulous bars, cafes, restaurants and shopping are but footsteps away. We were in Bulgaria travelling for nearly a month, and we both agreed that Plovdiv was our favorite city on the trip. Enjoy!
