I had a very disappointing experience at Sabre Paris.
My mother and I shopped together and spent around €200 on six items. As we made the purchases together, everything was packed into a single paper bag. Two of the items I bought were meant to be gifts, so I politely asked for an additional bag.
The staff refused. I explained that we were two people and that some items were gifts, but they insisted it was “policy” and said they couldn’t give another bag. I offered multiple times to pay for the extra bag.
I asked if they could check with the manager, they did, and the answer was still no. I then spoke directly with the manager in-store. I calmly explained the situation again and asked for one extra bag. Instead of offering any reasonable explanation or showing understanding, the manager was dismissive, repeated that it wasn’t possible, and refused to answer my questions. The only thing that came out of her mouth repeatedly was “you cannot get another bag”.
For a purchase of this size, this lack of flexibility and basic customer care is unacceptable. Refusing even when a customer offers to pay for a simple paper bag is hard to understand.
The products themselves are fun and make for nice gifts, but the service completely ruined the experience. I would try their other boutiques.

A lady who left the store a few minutes after me came found me on the street and gave her bag to me saying she saw their attitude towards me, and she was not gonna need her bag. Shout out to her 😍
