Sabrett

Wanted a corn dog while visiting NY during Christmas week. I went in assuming they were ready immediately after ordering but had to wait for the guy to dip it oil for 5m and then walked away and bit into a corn dog with warm corn batter and a cold dog inside.

7,50 USD plus tax for one hotdog is way too much. And it was disgusting. Will never buy from SABRETT stands anymore.

I did not get her name, but we call her Queen. We appreciate a hard working, confident WOMAN! So sweet, and the food from her stand … Delish! I got the Italian Sausage, my daughter got the pretzel. She kept a clean cart and beautiful Spirit. She was in Times Square. If you see her, tell her that we are still praying for her! (We often ask Servers if there is anything we can pray for)

To be clear this was a single location near grand central terminal, but I do not see that specific location on maps. Have included image of exact stand & location. Summary in case TLDR; The main reason for this review is I would like to warn people to pay attention if you are using a card to purchase, because you may get overcharged Details: I ordered a regular chili dog from this hotdog stand. I was given a regular chili dog. However I was charged for a premium sausage chili dog ($15) which was not what I received or ordered. I went back to the stand and talked to the vender a couple hours later when I noticed the discrepancy. The man called me a liar and refused to refund the difference or make it right. I know it is kind of silly to complain about 8 dollars or so but the main issue was the entire experience seemed like he had a speech ready for it and must have done this sort of scam before. .

not worth; we got it in a pinch and needed food. $4 for a tiny hot dog that can be finished in 2 bites. every corner in the city you will see a sabrett stand, take my advice and don't get it out of convenience.

The hotdogs that we bought tasted exactly as you would if you make it at home - which is fine with us but what’s not right is charging us a total of $10 for both

Lamb Euro was decent. Philly cheesesteak was a joke…used cheap hot dogs buns and some type of squeeze cheese. No prices listed…because no one would buy if they saw how much it was. Cheaper at the garden than this guy. Sign said Apple Pay and credit card but after he gave us our food he said cash only. So that took all the cash I had. Probably over-charged us and pocketed it. This was outside the Lego store at 51st and 5th.

Scammers! Beware! Claim they can only accept cash so they aren’t caught. Charged us $65 for 2 chicken kabobs, and one lamb over rice plate. Very bad attitude! My food had hair all in it and def was not lamb!
