Very pretty building, with cool architecture. Though I wish there was more here. The first class lounge could use a major upgrade, and there could be more shops here.

This building is absolutely beautiful! The restoration job (that took forever) is well worth the wait. They did a great job updating it but still keeping the classic train station vibe. I haven’t actually been on a train in a while… but the station seems like a great place to relax and wait for a train. There aren’t many good options around since the star bucks left. But there is a bunch of food options in the area!

Very big station. It was clean with lots of seating. From ticketing area it’s quite a walk to the railway tracks. So make sure you build in time. The walkway is covered but for one area immediately after the station where you cross the road. For people who cannot walk there is trolley service. There is plenty of paid parking but it is some what complicated

I friggin love Amtrak train rides. It's like having bad gas and loose bowels, you know you want rip one, but what are the consequences? It's a little bit of a crap shoot! No pun intended, well yeah it was! Amtrak is the coolest way to travel when you don't want to drive. I love this Coast Starlight train, it's the best! Especially when the cocktail lounge is open!

Its a stop for coaststarlight and other amtrack trains 🚆 it's a massive amtrack station in Northern California is this sation here in Sacramento California the capital of California . Its a break stop and refuel stop and pick up and drop off stop

I love being able to take the train down to Southern California to visit my boyfriend and his family. Smooth, reliable ride with no traffic. The staff are always wonderfully friendly, station/trains/restrooms clean, and free wifi is much appreciated to be able to work while traveling. Safe travels!

Took Amtrak to Reno recently and went through this station. It has an old timey feel and is clean. It's a long walk to the loading platforms but otherwise everything went smoothly.

Not crowded and the ceiling has a beautiful designed. The workers don't seem very happy. The security guard doesn't seem alert and the ladies at the front need to work with their hospitality. They were chatting it up when I asked for the restroom code and she didn't even stop or look at me she just turned a sign to reveal the code. The area is not dirty but not clean either. They have a sign up that says "construction coming soon" but the date says 2022. It shows how under kept the place is. The restroom area smells horrific. It was 105 degrees when we were there and the AC barely kept us cool as they kept their doors wide open. My husband had to go over and turn on a fan they had in the train station. Love the Amtrak as a form of transportation though. In Northern California it's busier and train stations are far from clean. The Amtrak restroom is worse too. It's hot and the smell at times is bothersome when traveling in the Northern area because it's busier.
