Sacré Burger Reims

We were very excited because of the comments but it was a bit disappointment for us. We tried smash burger, korean fried chicken and as dessert we got pain perdu which was delicious. We really liked the dessert and french fries but burgers were ordinary. Korean fried chicken was spicy, juicy and crunchy. Smash burger was a failure for us. I was expecting juicy and crunchy burger meat but it was not like that unfortunately. And for this quality burgers prices are really high like it is starting from 22 euros.

Had a smash burger and while it was very tasty, the bun was quite oily and soggy. Their wine list is very impressive and I would go here for the wine rather than the burgers themselves. Tables can feel quite small and the restaurant lacks a bit of space.

I think they make their own vegetarian burgers which is something I love! I think I tasted black beans… it was a great alternative! The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was really chill too. I think the prices are on the high side but since you get a good portion they’re fair enough for me!

I have to confess, coming from the US, I felt guilty eating a burger in France. But it was a really good burger. Not the best burger ever but still really really good and worth the stop if you’re craving burgers. They were some other non burger items on the menu, but not many. Beer was a perfect companion. Would come back.

It can be intimidating finding restaurants that will be patient with you when you don't speak the native language, but Sacre Burger made us feel completely at home. We didn't have a reservation, but they were completely accommodating and offered us a seat outside. It was a pleasant night, so we grabbed a bottle of red to enjoy. Our waiter was a delight, offering suggestions. So glad I listened and tried the Katsu sandwich. It was so good. And the spicy mayo that came on the side was great to dip fries on. The food was so good that we didn't have room for dessert, but I'm sure it's amazing! It was a great time and a great night. Thank you!!!

Legendary French rudeness.... the hostess refused to seat us after walking into the restaurant on a Thursday at noon with open tables. Thinking she did not want to serve Americans or racially diverse people..

Terrible experience. We had six people, their restaurant was empty. They didn't welcome us in. They said no. No again. Rude service. Terrible.

A must do in Reims! We didn't see the cheese fries but we both got fries on the side with our burgers!

Sacré Burger, located in the center of Reims, is the perfect post-champagne-tasting lunch spot! Vegetarian options available! Ambiance & Service: The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating with a rustic/modern vibe. All of the servers were incredibly friendly/attentive and even helped us find our next champagne house when we were a bit lost. Food came out hot and fast! Food: Smash 1ER w/ Vegetarian Patty - they don't advertise it on their menu, but they secretly have a fantastic homemade veggie patty that can be added to any burger (my friend said it was better than her beef burger!). It's essentially a hybrid between a falafel and black bean patty with loads of taste and a light/crunchy texture. The bun was soft/fluffy and the burger sauce was a tasty way to prevent the burger from being too dry. Cheddar Fries - perfectly golden with some bits that are crunchy and others that are softer. The cheddar sauce was silky smooth with a tangy/buttery taste. It's definitely big enough to share! TL;DR - perfect lunch spot in Reims! Don't skip out on the homemade veggie patty!

This the burger of Reims. All of the ratings seem to agree. Very high quality of beef and the different selections of burgers will keep you pondering for a bit but you're sure to find what it is that will satisfy your craving. Fries were everything you would want fry to be. Great vibe, cool motif!

You know what goes really well with a juicy, flavorful burger? CHAMPAGNE. Don't knock it til you've tried it, friends. Fortunately the very popular Sacre Burger is located in the heart of Reims, itself the heart of Champagne. They've got a list for you - full of bottles by local producers, and a few options by the glass. If you want it, there's beer and a full bar too but why would you deny yourself the chance to enjoy a premier cru while nibbling on cheddar and lardon fries? So let's get to the burgers. Every one is delicious in its own way but I chose the Louis XVI because I feel like he's kind of an underdog and deserves a chance (you can get a Louis XIV too but that much autocracy generally upsets my digestion). Plus I really like pesto which was one of the toppings on this burger. Truly, it was a great burger. Served on a pillowy soft bun that didn't disintegrate. Perfectly seasoned. Juicy, but not greasy. This is the kind of burger that DEMANDS to be enjoyed with a glass of the finest bubbly. So do it. But get here early cause they're always crowded.

What's not to love here? We got to Sacre Burger just as it was opening and easily snuck in for lunch. Our party of 4 each got a burger, and we ordered some fries to share. The burgers were delicious and flavorful, and I especially loved the cheesy version of the fries. The buns on the burgers were great - nice and light, but enough to stand up to the hearty burgers and toppings. This is just the kind of lunch you want on a day filled with champagne tasting. Pro tip: Champagne goes great with a burger - they have a big wine list and a few "by the glass"; so treat yoself. Second pro tip: They got busy, fast - make a reso or arrive early to ensure a spot!
