from the moment you walk through the doors you know you are at a reputable place for quality Russian food. We had a set menu of crab salad, grilled salmon, and bottles of vodka and champagne-- everything was served warm and fresh. I wish I had looked at the menu. Since everyone at the tables next to us seemed to keep ordering amazing dishes I will come back the night we go to the Theater. So worth it and hopefully we ll bump Into the live performances

Food was excellent and it is right across the street from the theater. Great spot, good service, great food and drinks. Can’t wait to go back again. Open late due to theater goers so you can come eat before or after your theater experience at the Mariinsky theater.

This is great food, drinks, and atmosphere!!! The selection is excellent, the presentation of the food is absolutely beautiful, and the best part is that you get live music there. The waiters themselves are all professional musicians, and sing and play instruments live, while you enjoy your meal. Definitely a must visit location if you come to St Pete. P.S. This location has an extensive bar and cocktail menu. Ask a bartender for your preference or something special to try!

We had a nice dinner in this place. The food was really good, nice place for tourists to try Russian food without being extremely overpriced, although the portions are not very big. The service wasn't very friendly, that's the only negative point.

Never choose this place If you decide to have lunch before the theatre. We came at least one hour beforehand. I’ve waited for 40 minutes and the only thing from order I got was tea and 1 portion of pelmeni in 30 minutes. So mad and hungry I took all that was prepared to take-away after my companions left for ballet. And I got no appropriate apology from restaurant, their explanation was “You are not the only guest here”. It’s always that busy at this time. So they know the problem, they know the demand and do nothing with it. What’s the hell with your manager and client oriented approach? Finally I got guite expensive but tasty take-away. PS: I asked for tapped water for kids and got a real no” answer, as they just sell water and didn’t want to bring us tapped water after waiting for so long. I had tea and it was too hot to drink without cool water. PSS: I visit restaurants for good service and this is definitely not the place where you could get it.
