Our Hotel Yeon had a nice view of Saeyeongyo Bridge and Saeseom Island. It was great to have breakfast on our balcony with the view of the Bridge and harbour. At night, the Bridge is lit up. I walked to and over the Bridge after dinner. It is very picturesque.

Beautiful for a walk during sunset. We managed to catch the sunset and it was splendid. We went in October so was a bit cold but there is a long trail you can follow for more scenic views.

Stepping onto Saeyeongyo Bridge and making my way towards Saeseom Island was like walking into a postcard. Honestly, I didn't expect to be as moved as I was, but this place absolutely stole a piece of my heart. From the moment I set foot on the beautiful, arcing bridge, I could feel a sense of calm washing over me. The views were breathtaking – the deep blue of the ocean stretching out, the vibrant green of the island ahead, and the dramatic coastline of Seogwipo in the distance. It was one of those moments where you just have to stop, breathe deep, and soak it all in. Crossing the bridge itself was an experience. It's so gracefully designed, and you can feel the sea breeze, hear the gentle lapping of the waves below. Once on Saeseom Island, it felt like I'd stumbled upon a hidden gem. The walking paths are well-maintained and wind through the small island, offering various viewpoints that are each more stunning than the last. I loved just wandering, finding little nooks to sit and simply exist in the quiet beauty. What made it truly special for me was the feeling of peaceful solitude, even with other visitors around. There's an undeniable tranquility that permeates the entire area. I found myself just sitting on a bench, watching the boats, listening to the birds, and feeling an incredible sense of gratitude. It was the perfect antidote to the hustle and bustle of everyday life. As the sun began to dip lower, casting a golden glow over everything, the bridge lit up, creating an even more magical atmosphere. It was truly an unforgettable sight. If you're looking for a place in Jeju to find peace, connect with nature, and just let your worries drift away with the tide, Saeseom Island and Saeyeongyo Bridge are an absolute must-visit. It's more than just a scenic spot; it's an experience that nourishes the soul. I left feeling refreshed, inspired, and with a deep sense of calm that stayed with me long after. Easily a 5/5 – I'm already dreaming of my next visit.

As a hint, just take your time. You'll miss so much by rushing in and out of places you visit. It's a great sight to stroll by, taking in the views. The bridge is perfect for that. Watching the waves, fishing trawlers, the scenery and surroundings. Catching up on a breath of fresh air and watching the wild life wandering around. Definitely worth the time spent to give yourselves a break 😉 It can be a bit of a hike over this bridge but worth the effort. Hope you're enjoying your day. Perfect

Saeyeongyo Bridge and Saeseom Island (Seogwipo): A Breathtaking Bridge and Picturesque Island (4.5/5 Stars) Rating: • Bridge: 5/5 (Stunning views, unique design resembling a traditional Jeju log boat, beautiful illuminated tower) • Island: 4/5 (Lovely walking paths, theme photo zone, public square, wooden deck road) Overall: 4.5/5 After a delightful visit to Gomggom Kkotdarak, Donkey and I hopped on our bikes and continued our round island adventure. Our next stop was Saeyeongyo Bridge, a beautiful pedestrian bridge connecting Seogwipo Port to Saeseom Island. We were excited to cycle up the bridge and enjoy the breeze and the amazing views. It was a truly breathtaking experience, enjoying the stunning views of the harbour, the island, and the coastline. The bridge is designed to resemble a traditional Jeju log boat, and it's a striking landmark. We especially loved the illuminated tower, which looks like a sail. Saeseom Island, also known as Bird Island, is a lovely little island with walking paths and a theme photo zone. It's a great place to explore and take some photos. We also enjoyed the public square and the wooden deck road.

A simple bridge where you can chill and watch sunset. It connects to a trail, where you can have a 20-30 mins chill walk too. Not a must visit in Jeju but definitely recommend if your itinerary permits

I have been wanting to visit this bridge after watching 'extraordinary attorney Woo'. It is the bridge connection Jeju to Saeseom Island. It is not a very long bridge but a distance for family and kids. It is a free bridge, you don't buy tickets to see it. It is clean, beautiful and the view you get is spectacular. You get the ocean view, mainland Jeju and Saeseom Island. At the middle part of the bridge, there is a round stairs that gets you to a small platform down. The kids enjoy running up and down the bridge. A good place to take scenic photos, family photos or selfies. It you are visiting the bridge, I would also recommend that you make time to also visit Saeseom Island :) Visited: February 2025

Who would have imagine that a small little bridge can become the seaside icon of Seogwipo? We stopped by for sunset after visiting Cheongjiyeong waterfalls. What make this quaint place special is the beautiful sunset. We are glad we made it before sunset. Not on my bucket list but definitely one of those small things that counts.
