Safari Lodge and Campground

Amazing set up in awesome location. Stayed in the en suite cabin with beautiful modern bathroom and a comfy king sized bed. The camp kitchen is extremely well equipped for self-catering and the menu at the Cafe was brilliant. Definitely the premier place to stay on a visit to Cape Tribulation.

We were on the camping ground, so not the cabins.|The location of the camping ground is perfect. The Beach „ Cape Tribulation „ is 5 minutes by car. There are also several tours which you can book at the lodges.|A small cafeteria is also provided which is opened from 07:30, so you can grab your coffee here and continue your journey.|As the camping ground is in the middle of the jungle, it gets pitch black during the night.|The camping ground itself is made of gravel.|The camp kitchen was also one of the most complete equipped camp kitchens I saw in whole Australia, it was very clean too!|The swimming pool is small but heated and furnished with 3 sun beds. |The amenities are really clean and I didn’t expect that since the lodge is in the middle of a jungle.

We stayed at the unpowered campsite. Very clean amenities. Bit more expensive than other but better services. Nice but small pool with a shared kitchen area next to it. Excellent location opposite bar/restaurant and near activities.

We enjoyed our stay, the staff were great and our cabin was clean & modern. You are surrounded by the rainforest with the beach a short walk away. A grocery store is across the road. Breakfast and lunch are on site at the Turtle Rock Cafe and PKs Restaurant is also a walk away. |We also booked the Ocean Safari reef tour which operates out of Safari Lodge and is a great small group snorkeling trip on the outer reef.

I had a fabulous experience here at the lodge. I stayed in a campsite. The place has a common area with kitchen camp, beautiful pool, spotless toilets and showers, a pool table and lots of amenities. The view around the campsite is amazing, feeling the true rainforest vibes There’s a groceries store just across the road and there’s a cafe at the front. Highly recommended

Great location. Rooms are small, but were clean and had a very comfortable bed. The pool and facilities were very good. Washing machine and dryer, fully equipped shared kitchen facilities and entertainment area were all in great condition. 👍

Perfectly situated cosy accommodation. We stayed in an ensuite cabin which was nicely appointed with a king bed, small bar fridge, air-conditioning and bathroom. Nice and private. Only minor complaint would be water pressure wasn't the best. Found myself using the showers in the amenities block. Camp kitchen is well great with a large fridge, 2 BBQs, microwave, Toaster and a few pots and pans. Location is great being across the road from the general store, pub, playground and beach access. Staff are all super friendly and helpful. Massive shout out to Stacey who is an absolute gem.

Loved the board walk and surrounding rainforest. The pool was great and relaxing vibes all around. We went on a trip to the reef and the staff, Brandon and Charlie, were great. The perfect level of fun and attentiveness. My son said that it was the best birthday present ever.
