I had a fabulous experience here at the lodge. I stayed in a campsite. The place has a common area with kitchen camp, beautiful pool, spotless toilets and showers, a pool table and lots of amenities. The view around the campsite is amazing, feeling the true rainforest vibes There’s a groceries store just across the road and there’s a cafe at the front. Highly recommended

Loved the board walk and surrounding rainforest. The pool was great and relaxing vibes all around. We went on a trip to the reef and the staff, Brandon and Charlie, were great. The perfect level of fun and attentiveness. My son said that it was the best birthday present ever.

This effectively is the end of the 2 wheel drive road. Our King hut was comfortable had a bathroom with shower, air conditioning and a ceiling fan. In a semi private area the porch with outside chairs and table was a nice spot to relax. The shared facilities at the camp were great, good bathrooms, a large kitchen, refrigeration and coin operated washing machines. The on site Cafe offers breakfast and lunch. The camp has a swimming pool and is where the Great Barrier Reef Ocean Safari leaves from. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Loved my time here. Staff were super friendly and it was very peaceful. It was quite rainy - but only expected in a rainforest! Definitely do the night rainforest tour - amazing!|The cabins were great. Kitchen really well equipped and bathrooms sparkling.

I stayed in one of the en suite cabins in the campsite. It was very comfortable and very well laid out with a good sized bathroom. It had air-con and a ceiling fan and fridge. The shower was great and the bed comfy. Great to hear all the noises from the forest. Staff were super friendly and efficient. You can make your own meals at the communal kitchens or there is a great café at the entrance. Parking just outside the cabin. A really great experience.

Completely exceeded expectations |I wouldnt stay anywhere else in cape trib |Awsome cabins with ensuites tucked into the rainforest|There reef/snorkeling experience is an absolute must do that is run by the safari lodge |I have been on a fair of few of these over the years and this one tops the lot by a mile |really quick boat ride out to Mackay reef which means a half day tour is ample cause you basically in the water the whole time we where lucky enough to get the 3 spots in which included the deep wall as conditions where perfect and if didn’t disappoint. |A weight belt would have been nice but still that’s nothing to worry about |The coral is in such amazing condition at this spot |Caught some whales on the way out |There where fish of so many varieties in abundance managed to see a number of turtles, a ray and even got to spot a nice sized reef shark just off the sand Kay. The guys the run the tour are absolutely a blast so much fun but also full of knowledge and very helpful. |They only do breakfast and lunch but the food is spot on |there is so many options for dinner close by too which is cool |Not just saying it but 10out of 10 great experience and will be back

Safari Lodge and Campground was one of the most enjoyable campgrounds on our trip! Nestled in a rainforest paradise, it feels like you're tucked away in a tropical resort. The standout feature is easily the incredible camp kitchen by the pool — it’s spacious, modern, and genuinely feels like a resort lounge. There are heaps of tables, which is lucky because the space is well-used by happy campers and travelers alike. There's even a pool table to keep things social and fun. The amenities are clean and clearly well-maintained, making it a very comfortable place to stay. On top of that, the reception has its own little café which serves up great coffee and breakfast – a perfect way to start your day before heading out to explore the Daintree. As a base for exploring all the region has to offer, it’s hard to beat. Would absolutely recommend and would love to return!

Perfectly situated cosy accommodation. We stayed in an ensuite cabin which was nicely appointed with a king bed, small bar fridge, air-conditioning and bathroom. Nice and private. Only minor complaint would be water pressure wasn't the best. Found myself using the showers in the amenities block. Camp kitchen is well great with a large fridge, 2 BBQs, microwave, Toaster and a few pots and pans. Location is great being across the road from the general store, pub, playground and beach access. Staff are all super friendly and helpful. Massive shout out to Stacey who is an absolute gem.
