Safari Lodge and Campground was one of the most enjoyable campgrounds on our trip! Nestled in a rainforest paradise, it feels like you're tucked away in a tropical resort. The standout feature is easily the incredible camp kitchen by the pool — it’s spacious, modern, and genuinely feels like a resort lounge. There are heaps of tables, which is lucky because the space is well-used by happy campers and travelers alike. There's even a pool table to keep things social and fun.
The amenities are clean and clearly well-maintained, making it a very comfortable place to stay. On top of that, the reception has its own little café which serves up great coffee and breakfast – a perfect way to start your day before heading out to explore the Daintree. As a base for exploring all the region has to offer, it’s hard to beat. Would absolutely recommend and would love to return!
