They have the only decent sales I. Town. Which makes it thw most affordable grocery store for me to shop at thanks Safeway. The employees have always been more than helpful to me as well which makes the experience much easier to deal with for me because ultimately I hate going into the grocery store its very stressful for me but Safeway makes it less so. I appreciate that we have Safeway in our small alaska town

This safeway is consistently understocked of key ingredients. The cleanliness overall is poor, including the checkout stands and floors. Don't waste your time using the order and pick up services since you will never receive all of your desired items due to lack of stock yet even with the filter on "in stock" allows you to shop said items with no options for substitutions of your picking. The employees are nice, if you get the chance to actually utilize one for check out due to understaffing instead of self checkout.

Walked to Safeway just to hear my oldest say mom.the cashier responded my oldest say not you my mom here. So cashier you are not her mother you are an employee just like her.please stop having her call you mom cause you're not an never will be.

I really appreciate their shopping for me and picking up the order. The app makes it easy. The service is always great.

I get groc here often and they usually have what I need. The service desk has always been great at addressing any concerns I’ve had. Giving it only 3 stars because the pick-up-and-go service here is awful. Always late, poor substitutions for what they’re out of without a way to customize the substitution, items are often missing or incorrect, and the girl who usually bring out the groc is full of attitude I don’t need. If the wal-mart here had a real grocery section, I would bother with safeway.

Nic at customer service is a great guy. I almost always shop local but, after talking to him, I'll be coming to Safeway more.

A good selection for a town of this size, although the prices could be better. The sushi is better than I'd expect from grocery store sushi.

Maria is a badass cashier. She helped me check out my food a few weeks ago. Goes above and beyond. Happy person
