We love naan style pizza and madras fish curry here. Never disappoints. Food, ambience, servers, and overall experience is great. One of the best Indian restaurant in Darwin for sure!

The food is super tasty and service was pretty good. However, I had some metal in one of the dishes and ended up also swallowing a little of it before I realised what it was. They did remake the two dishes that the metal could have come from, but we weren’t offered any discount on our food which was $142. The menu on the QR code is much larger than the printed menu so make sure to read that one to order from with your wait staff.

MUST TRY!! Didn’t expect to dine at this great of an Indian restaurant in Darwin. The Tofu 65 entree, and the daal and egg plant mains were amazing. All the dishes came fast and were fresh and tasty. The desserts, jamun and nannari sarbath were too good. Chef Sel is truly the best. If veg is this great, can’t imagine how good the non-veg will be :) Rosila and Dinesh were friendly and helpful, and enhanced the dining experience.

Coming all the way from Sydney I had an amazing experience at Saffron Restaurant! The veg food was absolutely bang on and the service and environment were top-notch - really pleasant atmosphere. Huge shoutout to Chef Sel, the mastermind behind the amazing dishes! Would definitely recommend and come back for more.

Clean, tidy and great ambience. Saffron team members are hospitable and serve with 😊. Flavourful food, reasonable choice in non alcoholic beverages.

Great feed. Their two curry and rice for 20 bucks is massive portion size (enough for a grown man to be too full) and delish. Been a few times. Will be back, considerably cheaper than most indian restaurants.

The manager and owner – Ganesh – is a wonderful human being that caters to his customers first and foremost with a wonderfully surrounded hard-working team. I felt welcomed and respected, especially given that I was coming in l as a party of one. I would highly recommend.

Beautiful Indian food, well presented and fairly priced. Service was attentive and pleasant. The waiter was great in dealing with my food allergies and had clearly noted this from my online booking. Only complaint is that I ate too much!

Great service and broad menu. We opted for the tasting menu which was incredibly generous (maybe a bit too much). The drinks were fun and overall there was something for everyone.

Their food is very good. But a bit sad that dining there isnt as feasible and is much better for takeway.

Fantastic food. Could have been a little more spicy for me. But i'm sure if I asked they would have brought me some more chillies.

We drove past this place and decided to get take away because we were tired and hungry. What we got was some of the best Indian food I have had in a very long time. We had the beef vindaloo, lamb rogan josh, barramundi curry and butter chicken. All I can say is Wow Wow wow. I could eat here every day it was totally delicious every dish was amazing cooked to perfection with the correct amount of spices, it's hot but that's how Indian food should be.

Best indian in Australia. I love this pace- they have awesome take away containers - dosent hurt the environment anywhere near as much. Loads of vegetarian options or devine fish! The lunch specials are a cheap way to get a taste. Phone orders worked for me and when I picked up was ready on time piping hot and so friendly!

Really nice surprise. Saffron is definitively the Indian restaurant to try in Darwin. The Barramundi, with saffron rice, is just yummy. Just disappointed with the Raita.

Quite pricy and heavy on the garlic, but unique and worth a try. Great food, not always what one expects from an Indian place. Friendly staff. Great atmosphere. Amusing tweets. Cater to vegetarians and vegans.

Love it. Have eaten there regularly since they opened. Food and service always top notch and the takeaways are good too.

Excellent place for a meal. Great staff, menu and wine selections. Many of their meals (most) are gluten free so that is terrific. The butter chicken is the best and just love the lamb cutlets. Definitely recommended for visitors to the Top End or a regular place for casual dinning by locals.

I have only had one meal here, but it was fantastic and I left fully-satisfied. Very tasty Indian food and a wealth of options. I suggest the sampler for a group.
