Everything was delicious! Grilled Octopus was so tender and well seasoned. I ordered Baklava with Turkish coffee and it was amazing. Definitely wanted to come back again.

This is a genuine Turkish restaurant where you can find traditional Turkish flavors. Don't confuse it with fast-food doner shops. The staff and owner are extremely hospitable, they attend to each table individually, and they are very friendly. You can come with your family and enjoy Turkish food with peace of mind. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

Nice place, good for a breakfast, branching and to drop off for a cup of tea and coffee. Loved their Kozleme with greens and potatoes. Turkish tea and Cappuccino was lovely and authentic. Turkish sweets- Baklava with chocolate was my favorite and very delicious.

Food is high quality and tasty. A very reliable meal. The owner and staff are very friendly and welcoming, like a real neighborhood spot. The lahmacun are particularly outrageously good. And the doner wrap is a good choice, really packed with meat, and tastes fresh even when delivered. The homemade bread is like a really tender and glutinous dinner roll, which I could eat every day. My one complaint is the mixed cold appetizer.. $24 for a disappointing portion. See pic. I’d expect this to be 15 or 16 at most. And you only get 2 rolls, when you really need 4-6. Cold meze is a must have for me, and the lack of value here keeps me from ordering from Safir more often. The hummus is average, and the babaganoush is quite nice.

I love Safir Restaurant! The staff are always friendly and welcoming, making you feel right at home. Their lahmacun and mix grill are definitely highlights — so flavorful and delicious. I also really enjoy their Turkish breakfast; it’s always fresh and satisfying. The desserts are amazing too! A great place for authentic Turkish food. Highly recommend!

Nice cozy restaurant with a feel of Turkey. Went on. Friday afternoon to enjoy a time with friends. Had the lentil soups with a few of appetizers and their beer. Nice time with very delicious food.

I would recommend thinking twice before visiting this restaurant. I went there with friends and we had our meal. While I was in the restroom afterward, I overheard the person who introduced himself as the manager, Yiğit, speaking negatively about customers. Believing that I did not understand Turkish, he made several disrespectful remarks about customers and inappropriate comments about their physical appearance. When I came out and he smiled at me, it made the situation even more uncomfortable. This experience was very disappointing, and we do not plan to return 🤢

Safir is one of the best - if not the best - dining experiences I’ve had in the city. I dined here with my boyfriend for Valentine’s Day, and fell in love with this quaint, cozy spot. The servers were all attentive and friendly, and one of the owners visited each table to check in on everyone and to thank us for coming to Safir on this special evening. But of course, the main star is the food, and it is incredible. Do yourself a favor and order the Pink Sultan. The dip is simple but somehow exceptional, and the bread is fresh and warm and fluffy. For my entree, they were actually out of what I originally wanted, but not to fear - I am pretty sure everything on the menu would make your tastebuds sing. I ordered the shrimp saute, my boyfriend the lamb shank, and both were an 11/10. Because it was Valentine’s Day, the servers even sent us home with a small dessert baggie with Turkish delights and candied almonds, and they were, of course, delightful. I don’t write many reviews, but I could not stop thinking of Safir and how they made Valentine’s Day truly memorable for myself and my boyfriend, both through the great service and the even better food. We will return, and if you haven’t been, you should do yourself a favor and visit as soon as possible.
