A stylish and comfortable stay in a great Oslo location! The rooms are modern, clean, and thoughtfully designed, offering all the essentials for a relaxing stay. The beds are comfortable, and the décor has a contemporary Scandinavian charm. The hotel’s location is excellent - close to Frogner, shopping, and public transport, making it easy to explore the city. Breakfast is varied and fresh, with plenty of options to start your day right. Staff are friendly, helpful, and attentive, ensuring a smooth check-in and overall pleasant experience. The only minor drawback is that some rooms can be a bit small, but the quality and service more than make up for it. A reliable and enjoyable choice for both business and leisure travelers in Oslo!

The plus: well located small hotel in a quiet street yet close to the center & harbour, comfy, spotless rooms albeit the standard doubles are small, especially the windowless bathroom with no space to put one’s stuff. Bedding very good. Very good breakfast with daily variations. One appreciable amenity in Oslo is the free parking in front of the hotel (first come, first served).|The average: value for money only average but it’s uberexpensive Oslo… umbrellas to borrow, afternoon tea, all extra (all the more bizarre that there is free tea/coffee in the room).|The bad: no real cosy area to relax when coming back from the city, friendly but amateur front desk, they do not know about restaurants, museums, parking in the city…|All in all a good hotel when visiting Oslo, especially if you have/need a car to visit the surroundings, excellent sleep and great breakfast. Would be 5/5 if some small attentions were free and the staff more knowledgeable about Oslo.

Perfect location in upmarket part of Oslo between Frogner park and the Royal Palace. Great value for money. Breakfast superb and hotel very clean/presentable. Staff knowledgeable and helpful. Room well equipped, but ours on ground floor not very big. Would highly recommended this hotel to all my friends.

Check in was easy with a very helpful person behind the counter. The room was clean and quite functional. The bathroom was typically small but workable. Make sure the shower doors are fully closed and the shower head pointed away from the doors; otherwise the floor will be soaked. Breakfast was pretty typical and filling. You can buy beer at the reception area. The staff people are very helpful with restaurants and bus schedules. Our room faced the street and was very quiet. We highly recommend this hotel.

Perfectly located in a quiet, calm living area. Within walking distance to Vigeland Sculpture Park which is amazing and breathtaking. Only a short walk away from several train stations, ideal location for exploring the City. Supermarkets, small shops all within walking distance.||Clean room, unfortunately without aircon so it might get hot in there.||Breakfast is amazing! Variety of everything, fresh fruit, local fish dishes, soy yoghurt, pastries etc. Very stylish breakfast room

Had an excellent stay over 3 nights. Reasonably quiet neighborhood. Spacious bedroom with high quality bed and bedding. Breakfast had an extensive range of food, seating spread over a few interconnected rooms allowing some privacy if wanted!

Such a great location—and wonderful service. The location is green and residential, but walking distance to so many museums and downtown. Well serviced by tram, I preferred to stay in this quiet location and cancelled my reservation elsewhere to return. The staff is so accommodating! Emilia was fantastic. The hotel packed me a breakfast when they learned I had to leave on an early flight. Rooms are comfortable and light, breakfast is superb.

Google
Simply superb! Value for what you pay here is outstanding! Really nice set up, modern, good lay out and the staff are really friendly/helpful. Breakfast included in cost and it’s a yum one! We stayed just for one night - checked in after midnight and it was seamless. We then worked from downstairs long for most the next day and the staff brought as water and looked after our bags. Would come back in a heart beat

Yelp
SAGA HOTEL OSLO is a Best Western Hotel, as I found out after the charge showed up in my credit card. We chose this hotel because they also have "apartments", which is found in a separate building, and a couple of blocks uphill, than the hotel. Items that were included that I very much appreciated: - WiFi - Luggage Storage - 12 Noon check out (not 11 AM) - Body wash, shampoo, hand soap - fully equipped kitchen and dining - Nespresso machine and pods Not Included: - Breakfast Saga Hotel is in a quiet area near and to the west of the national theater-- near enough to the Metro/light rail/train station to walk, but feels really far when you have luggage. It's doable but feels really far when you're carting a heavy luggage.

Yelp
This hotel is very quaint, quiet and clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again when we visit Oslo. It's very close to the Sculpture Park( Vigeland) let's than 0.5 miles. Close to the train station and cute stores. The breakfast was delicious and great quality food! A great find!

Yelp
Picked the hotel for its location only to find out the room we actually booked was around the block which a bit annoying. Not sure if we missed those details on the website....this is the only reason i am giving this place a three. The building we stayed in did not have a receptionist so any questions or inquiries we had we would have to walk to the lobby desk. We originally booked the room for three people and have stayed in air b n bs and another well known hotel so we weren't expecting much for space so we were pleasantly surprised to find a kitchenette (dishwasher, oven, coffee machine etc), a fold out sofa bed, dining table for two and a double bed. Comfortable room arrangement. Shower drain was a bit clogged (pet peeve). Could not call a receptionist to ask them to unclog it. I've found that the showers in the rooms we've stayed at usually don't have shower curtains or a good system to keep the water in the shower area. Would stay here again because it is overall a central location to the city.

Yelp
We had a great experience at the Saga Hotel. We stayed 4 nights during our honeymoon and thoroughly enjoyed it! While it may be a bit off the beaten path, we appreciated being on the edge of the city center. Light rail trains and buses give you quick access to all parts of town is its raining, and the walks are pleasant to the harbor or the sculpture garden! There are great restaurants around the hotel, but the complimentary breakfast is extraordinary (if you really fill up it csn count for lunch, too!) and the dinners in the hotel are quite nice too! We had a selection of sushi (chef's choice) that was incredibly fresh and a decadent mango ice cream dessert. Dinner was reasonably priced. We loved the afternoon. Snacks in the lobby and the espresso machine available 24 hours/day. There's no gym in the hotel, but it seems that there is a partnership with a gym down the street if you need a workout or a sauna. Love the design of the hotel and the free WiFi. Rooms and bathrooms are typically small, which was a challenge with all of our ski equipment. I think we would have opted for a larger room in hindsight. Most challenging part was the very small shower. The staff was extremely helpful and even made a special delivery of a gift from a family member to our room upon our arrival. Great experience at Saga.

Yelp
Great location very central to everywhere while on a quiet street in a nice neighborhood. My room was very comfortable and clean. Large bathroom with a lovely shower. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Breakfast is excellent and included. Free Wifi a plus. A great gem of a restaurant for dinner. Highly recommend!

Yelp
The second-worst hotel experience of my life. The first was being sent to stay in a room that was actively being painted with noxious fumes. We arrived in the middle of the night, got to our "grand master suite," and drifted off only to be awoken at 7:45 am by the ear-splitting sound of power tools. It sounded like someone was running with a chainsaw through the halls. It continued, so we could not get sleep. The best the staff could tell us is that they weren't supposed to start construction until 9 -- even then, no one told us anything about construction and if we wanted to sleep until noon, we paid for the right to! They are moving us for our second night, and I am afraid to trust that the situation will be better, but we won't be paying if it's another night of ear-splitting terror. Update: You should know if staying here that they claim "quiet hours" end at 7am and will not apologize for jackhammers in your ears after that time. Also the apartments are several blocks away from the hotel, so you have to lug your luggage back and forth to deal with reception. We were moved to a much worse room for the same price, with extremely low ceilings (dangerous for me as a short woman), without many of the amenities we paid for. The staff were argumentative.

Yelp
I've been here under an hour and regret choosing this as my second hotel in Oslo. The lady checking in after me was bumped to another hotel because they'd overbooked without being told beforehand. They require a deposit. "free wifi" requires logging in through a broken system or Facebook. Reception took an incredibly long time to answer the phone (and I had to look up the number to call as it wasn't obvious on the room phone), and were shockingly rude. Gym, I'm told, is actually down the street and requires getting a new wristband from reception every time.
