Stayed in this hotel two times this year in different rooms - in the luxe and in a single standard. Each room was great. New furniture, clean, well-maintained, spacious, great view. All the necessary facilities are available. The public areas are also very spacious and well-maintained. Great panoramic restaurant on the 14th floor serving excellent breakfast in the mornings. The service is very polite and efficient.

Very nice hotel, the staff are great, and will help out any way they can. The buffet breakfast was very good, there were refills on coffee (which is not always the case in Russia) The coffee shop on the 2nd floor is a gem, wonderful place to relax and have a good cup of coffee, or have a full meal. The Sauna is worth the money and is wonderful for resting. For sure would visit again!

I stayed in this hotel in the summer of 2019. It was very comfortable, the food was good and the staff friendly. The woman at the travel office especially went above and beyond (even staying past her working hours) to find us flights home when the online booking agency we had gone through messed up our booking the day before our return.

The best thing about this hotel is that the staff are genuinely friendly and helpful, unlike MANY other locations in Russia. We had a beautiful suite with two rooms, a deluxe bathtub, plenty of space to spread out, and comfortable chairs, sofas, and beds for the SAME price as the CLOSET we had in Irkutsk (around $100/night). Breakfast is served in the panoramic top floor restaurant, and was excellent. If you have $500/night to stay in luxury hotels anywhere in the world, you might improve on this, but in that case, what are you doing in Ulan Ude? Yes, the decor is perhaps 10 years old, but I don't understand the low ratings. This place was sensational. Did I mention that the staff were helpful and polite, not disdainful like elsewhere in the Former Soviet Union? I would book here again in a heartbeat.

We arrived by train very after 11:30 pm, and were pleased that the staff were efficient, and spoke English. My key did not work and locks do not appear real secure, so be aware of that. Checking was quick. ||||Room was very clean and comfortable with an awesome view. The bath had warming towel bars. Besides a nice touch, Perfect to dry your hand washables after days in the train! The toiletries they provided were generic, but adequate. Had to get used to faucets which had hot and cold reversed from US standards... Nice shower. ||||Tv had the news in English- nice touch. Overall this was a nice international hotel.

This is one of the best hotels in Ulan Ude. The rooms are large with homy bathrooms. The restaurant for breakfast is on the sixteenth floor with floor to ceiling glass. From here it was possible to view the whole city. Their buffet was extensive and the classical music made the meal extra pleasant. This hotel is definitely the best lodging choice in town.

I organized altogether 3 nights here and is OK, the room is ok, but some room does not have air-conditioning, I heard. All the staffs are very kind, though some are not experienced. Food is not so good, but is ok as a standard of Buraytia.||Restaurant is on the top floor( 14th) and the view is great, we can see the Sayan mountain ranges. Window glass is dirty, needs wiping, so that we could appreciate this splendid view!!

Popular hotel in Ulan-Ude. We used it as short overnight stays before going to the Baikal. Both outside and inside of the hotel look torn and worn at a first glance but it's clean. Rooms are spacious. Staff is friendly. We received breakfast as take away because of early departure. We would return if in the region again.
