Location was not great, it is close to a motorway. We thought it would have been easier to get to town with public transport. But you have to walk 15 mins to get the bus and buses are every 20 mins. If you are planning to use your car all the time, then it is only a 10 minute drive to San Sebastian. Compared to other hotels we stayed in the area, it was also expensive for the quality.

Nice, quite, simple fonctional rooms, in the middle of the countryside, close to the city. Perfect.

Amazing!! Very nice treatment. Local products for sale at good prices. You feel relaxed the moment you enter the hotel. The pool is nice and clean. Breakfast is definitely worth taking. Would recommend 10/10 and will return.

My husband and I found this place while looking for a hotel just outside of San Sebastian. It's like a 7 minute drive from San Sebastian and it was a perfect stay. We adored the friendly staff, our beautiful quiet room, our wonderful and probably best breakfast we had in Spain. They served us a whole bottle of the juice made at the Petritegi cidery and it was so delicious, we bought some for the road. Highly recommend a stay here.

I stayed here for 3 nights and had a lovely time! The location is beautiful, AC works well, breakfast was delicious and varied, and the people who work here are super kind and helpful. Would definitely recommend!

The room we got was overall nice, with a djacuzi like a bath for one person. From the pictures though we made a conclusion that there should be a door to the bathroom, and surely we didn’t come to think about asking that, our mistake. So shortly - there is no door to wc specifically in this room, the rest of the rooms have bathroom doors though. The amenities, the breakfast, the service was top notch. No regrets. In comparison to south Spain hotels - stands out being better than 4 star hotels. Breakfast is uniquely made for each visitor with a plate of fruits, cheese and ham, basket of bread and a plate of pastry desserts. They will make you coffee and eggs, and all this is accompanied by local Petritegi apple juice.

We had a unforseen problem with our car and had to leave 2 days earlier than planned. The management didn’t show any emphaty or solution. Only cancelation with full payement including breakfast we didn’t used. They kept blaming booking.com for not coming to a solution. No responding on mails because the management was not available in the weekends. (You are a joke if you run a hotel like this). If you like a terrace without view and 2 square feet of space, swimming under electric powerlines and management without empathy or hospilality! Go to this hotel. We will never go again!

Breakfast was gorgeous. Staff were helpful. The pool was great and never crowded. The room was lovely. It's a bit outside San Sebastian, you would need a car to get around. There is a Cider House across the road that does lovely food as well. Highly recommended Sagarlore.
