Great spot to grab a quick fresh meal for a decent price! You order at the counter and it's ready quickly. The food is good quality with generous portions. Pictured here is the half sandwich that comes with nice tortilla chips!

Google
One of my favorite places to stop and eat every time I’m in Durango. Plenty of healthy options and you can always tell the food is fresh. Great customer service as well! I’ll see you guys next time.

Google
This place was absolutely amazing and soo vegan friendly. My partner and I tried two Sage Duo's that allowed us to try 4 different things overall and everything was soo flavorful, fresh, clean, and delicious tasting. The Green Goodess summer special bowl and TLT (Tempeh, Lettuce, & Tomato) were exceptionally good.

Google
This place is amazing. It’s fresh and has a seasonal menu. Soups change throughout the week and they have delicious handmade drinks and serve Zubberfizz from the soda fountain!!!! Their cornbread is so good! Their tofu is also good. My husband always gets the chip salad with chicken. My kids like the ham sandwich with the jam (that stuff’s worth it) and their Mac and cheese. I love the Thai peanut salad with tofu or the berry salad with extra almonds.

Google
Love the menu and the options to get a split plate! I got a delicious small Caesar salad w/ Broccoli & Cheddar soup, which came with fresh bread on the side. Had plenty of seating, but NO WI-FI. I always try to support local businesses on my work trips but was torn when no WiFi was avail to check my e-mails while I was eating lunch.

Google
This place has great sandwiches & salads and lots of options. It’s fresh & staff was friendly. My only complaint is that they put too much dressing on all of our salads (4 of us in agreement) other than that it’s a great option for lunch! Portions are humongous. If you leave here hungry, you’re an animal 🐅🐻🐺

Google
Outstanding experience. From out of town, discovered on Google looking for fresh, quality, farm-to-table options- so glad I did. Took the tram from historic downtown, a $1 7 minute ride. Got the duo (salad and half sandwich, also got cup of soup. All were simply tip top. Service was friendly and quick. I wish this place was in Cincinnati. 😩

If you don’t have the longevity gene, you have to make an effort at healthy living. Stepping away from corporate fast food restaurants is a good start. I opted for a Caesar salad and broccoli cheese soup at Sage Fresh Eats. And it was really good. Salad was cold and crunchy fresh. The soup was hot and made with high quality cheddar. I’ve been to Sage Fresh Eats several times over the years and they have been consistently good. Would recommend to family and friends without hesitation.

Yelp
Great place to get healthy food in Durango. Here's what our party of 4 ordered. - Med Bowl with herb chicken - the red pepper almond romesco really kicks this bowl up in flavor - Green Goddess with tofu - tofu was nicely seasoned - Thai Peanut Salad with Asian chicken - nice range of Asian flavors - Half and half combo with cranberry dill chicken salad sandwich and kale salad (my order) - all super tasty, really love the chicken salad. A lot of food! The portions are ample. Our orders were all half bowls, salads or sandwiches and we were stuffed . All the food is really fresh. Staff was fast and friendly. We'll definitely return to Sage. Parking note: They have a small parking lot that is shared with a few other businesses and gets full. We were in our camper van and it was easier to just park on the street in the neighborhood.

Yelp
Here is the short and sweet: Food: Good options, quality food, and tasty! Service: Cue up and order up - friendly service, can take a bit to get your food Ambiance: Strip mall based sandwiches and soup - ambiance is fine, nothing special My experience: Arrived around 1pm for lunch. Still a line, but moved quickly. I opted for a pulled pork sandwich. Comes on focaccia. Crunchy bread, nice condiments, and the pulled pork is very good as well. Had a cookie as well - it was also good. All around a good place. Would recommend and would return. N*joy!

Cathryn B.

Yelp
Tasty food with a lot of good choices even for a gluten-free vegan like me. Tends to be crowded at the noon hour. It can be difficult to find a clean table, and I think it's because of understaffing. I definitely recommend the black bean soup!

Emily C.

Yelp
Thank you Yelp for helping us find Sage Farm Fresh Eats while craving some greens and veggies! We ordered the med and barbecue bowls, both with chicken, and were incredibly impressed. Both bowls were packed with flavor and portions were generous. Prices are not cheap, but we were happy to pay for healthy, locally-sourced, fresh ingredients! We both left saying we wished there were more Sage locations closer to Denver so we won't have to come all the way back to Durango to eat here again...and we definitely will be eating here next time we are in the area....already craving another bowl!

Peggy H.

Yelp
So fresh and delicious. What a healthy meal i was quite pleased. Had soup (Corn Chowder( and Kale Salad.

Loretta N.

Yelp
Lunch today at Sage Fresh Eats in Durango, Colorado today was really good. My husband had the half Thai Peanut Salad and half Cranberry Chicken Salad. I had the half Thai Peanut Salad and half Amish Chicken Soup. Both came with a side of bread or tortillas chips. The restaurant was clean, service was friendly and our food was prepared quickly. Everything was fresh and delicious! Great lunch.

Jared S.

Yelp
What an awesome find on Yelp! After our hike we wanted something healthy but filling and I happened to find Sage Farm Fresh Eats. I had the half TLT sandwich and half of the Thai peanut salad. Both were out of this world and the TLT was possibly the best thing I ever put in my mouth. The focaccia bread it was on is made in house and was totally delicious. The salad was amazing as well and the peanuts they used had some sort of seasoning on them that was so good. Next time I'm in Durango I'll definitely be coming here!

Lisa Y.

Yelp
Food was tasty and healthy. Portions were a little small, but we weren't starving so it was okay. Ordered a grain bowl with steak and a chicken sandwich. Ambiance: you order at counter (which I didn't find out until I waited in line for 10 minutes); you pay; then you wait until you are called to grab food. Tables looked clean. I ordered for take-out and it was pretty quick. Service: was friendly, but as I mentioned, they need a sign telling you where to order before going to pay at cashier. I was in line, then had to go back to the counter after waiting in line for 10 minutes.

Karlene D.

Yelp
The bowls we ordered were fresh, flavorful, delicious & filling. They blackberry sage lemonade was not too sweet & you could taste all the flavors. If we lived in town, I'd eat here often!

Aimee H.

Yelp
Service was good. Chicken soup was amazing. Bread was good. Grilled cheese was way too salty. No desserts :( I'd go again for the soup and bread.

Franco A.

Yelp
Stopped in during a recent vacation in Durango. We had planned to visit during our last trip to CO but our schedule prevented it. This time the opportunity arose and we gave Sage a try. Glad we did, as we both loved our lunch. They provided a number of fresh and healthy choices. We loved the soup of the day (there were four to chose from, if I recall). The quantity of the meals was generous, especially the salad. Everything we tasted was delicious.

David P.

Yelp
Just used Sage to cater a neighborhood event for 40 people and it exceeded our expectations. We had a couple different salad and sandwich combinations and everything was a big hit. Super fresh and delicious, there was plenty of food for everyone and the group raved about how great it all was. Oh yes, and there were cookies...well, for a while anyway. We were even able to please the GF members of the party as there were plenty of GF choices in the mix, including GF chocolate chip cookies. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Kale salad with chicken and honey dijon poppyseed dressing was amazing! Service was good and Fast. Atmosphere was compact and with fresh new looks. We will return!

Colette H.

Yelp
Very friendly staff and yum alert on all those veggies! The real veg mawmaw if you ask me! Yayay! So glad I went

Yelp
My wife and I visited here on Friday, March 18, 2022. We were hungry after skipping breakfast and having just driving into town from New Mexico. I'd read many great Yelp reviews on this spot. They are located in a tiny strip mall on the north end of Durango. I ordered the whole BLT chop salad with a sourdough bread kicker. The salad consisted of romaine lettuce, seasonal greens, bacon, grape tomatoes, corn, feta cheese, avocado, a sliced hard-boiled egg, croutons, and buttermilk dill ranch dressing. All the ingredients were fresh, and the large, crunchy bits of bacon really made the salad. The dressing tasted great and didn't overpower the salad. It was a very large salad, so I'm glad I was hungry. My freshly made sourdough bread had a crispy crust, and the inside had enough moisture to enjoy without any butter or spread. My wife ordered the half soup and sandwich, and you can see her review separately. All together, we paid $28.25, for some filling, fresh, healthy food. They made the food right in front of us, so the service was super quick. If you want healthy, wholesome food and leave filled up, then check out this restaurant. They are open from 11 am till 8 pm daily.

Nicole M.

Yelp
Great option for something fresh, healthy and flavorful. I ordered the Duo with the green goddess salad and a cup of broccoli cheddar soup and it was delicious. I thought the price and portions were very reasonable.

Laura M.

Yelp
What a lovely find. I randomly discovered the sourdough at Smith's in Los Alamos. Since we were going to Santa Fe the next day I knew I had to try where it originated. I'm so glad I did, everything was excellent, fast, large and reasonably priced. This handwritten curated menu is all you need. Didn't realize you get bread and butter with dine-in, what a wonderful surprise! Super cute inside, very casual. The butternut green chili soup was the absolute best butternut soup I've ever had. Loved the avocado smash toast with pancetta I think? Crispy, easy to bite into, not like prosciutto which can be chewy. Loved the delicious olives that came on the side. The staff here is great - everyone is kind and friendly. Really felt like a comfortable local spot, I was very at home there. If I lived in town I'd be there constantly. Also got some pastries to go- all *amazing* but my favorite is the almond croissant!! Get everything you can.

Tamie F.

Yelp
So good!! The soups were hearty and tasty. The pulled pork tasted amazing! The food was so good that we ate here twice while visiting Durango for the week. The food was all fresh and we love that it's locally sourced.

Mitchell W.

Yelp
I don't recommend sage Fresh. I found maggots in the green goddess bowl. I feel sick.... Yuk. See video attached

Doris D.

Yelp
Consistently high-quality made to order fast food made even better by a great staff who stay remarkably friendly even when it's crazy busy. Thank you!

Renee I.

Yelp
What a fabulous find (TY Yelp) for lunch as we passed through town. We ordered creamy broccoli soup, ham and Gruyère sammie and the asparagus &pea salad. All of it was delicious. The salad did have rice in it which I had not seen in the description but it was a great addition to the dish. Oh yes I impulsively picked up a zucchini muffin that was by the register- I guess they put 1 day old stuff there. Tasted good to me. Oh and the watermelon mint lemonade was delightful. Not too sweet. Service was friendly and efficient. I will say they keep it pretty cold in there and their AC fan was loud.

Jessica G.

Yelp
Great option for a fast and healthy place to eat in Durango. Many options to choice from. I got a salad and even had it as a second meal.

Jenny T.

Yelp
Really great! I'll be back anytime I'm in Durango. We're leaving to early to stop this morning, but last night we had the Med Bowl and white chili and a salad. I don't remember which salad because it was my daughter's. She said it was all A+, too. Healthy, but also delicious. Someone posted a pic below of the med bowl and it actually looks larger in person. We're passing through again in a few days and want to make a stop for sure. So glad we found Sage.

Kassie B.

Yelp
Yes yes yes to everything here! Driving through to Texas and saw the Yelp reviews. So glad we stopped. Everything we tried was fresh! Salads, sandwiches, homemade dressings... even the chips tasted like they made them fresh! Focaccia bread freshly baked. The black pepper blueberry muffins ... freshly baked. Moist and delicious! Friendly and helpful staff! Wow!

Sarah D.

Yelp
The fresh in the name is no lie! It was so refreshing to have such fresh produce here. The coffee cake and chocolate chip cookie was delicious as well. It was a relief to find a vegan option. The med bowl and TLT had wonder flavor combinations. The customer service was great and helped make accommodations for my dietary restrictions.

Alexander B.

Yelp
Amazing restaurant with a lot of healthy food options. It can get pretty busy during lunch (which is a good sign) but rest assured it's worth the wait. It was very nice of the staff to apologize for extended wait which showed that they cared about customers. We got some soups and salads which were ready in minutes and we had only good things to say. Very fresh, decent portion, and priced right. I wish they had locations in other cities in the country - it's be our daily place to visit :)

Kayla W.

Yelp
YUM. I always eat here when I'm in Durango! The house made bread is always so good. The service is always fast and friendly. They were slammed and still got us through the line really fast. They also carry a local soda company that is really tasty. I loved the posole!

Kate C.

Yelp
The food was fresh, fabulous, and loaded with veggies! We had the curry cauliflower soup (yum!) and each had a salad - the blueberry pecan was good but I'd recommend the Thai which I had.

Ruud N.

Yelp
After a couple days of comfort food, back to being a bit healthier... This eatery was the iiltimate pick. We had the fried pb and j sandwich, banh mi bowl, blt salad and broccoli cheddar cheese bowl. The first three were definitely excellent and I was able to enjoy the second half of the sandwich for breakfast. Awesome

Yumi J.

Yelp
Been here several times and always try something different. Today it was the soup and when I asked about a gluten free option to their slice of bread on the side, they said they have corn bread, so I said sure. This is the best corn bread muffin and best gluten free bread I've ever had. It's packed with flavor, moist and not gritty or dry. I'm wowed enough to make sure I write this review! It was a great compliment to their Amish Soup.

D R.

Yelp
Was looking for something healthy and quick and this did not disappoint. The Asian salad was amazing with the tastiest tofu (it's fried!) I've ever had. It was busy so the place was a bit chaotic but the staff was super nice and helpful. Very casual and lively.

Brianna N.

Yelp
Very good! Food was great and fast, I got the TLT and the black bean chili and they were delicious. Service was fast and helpful, kinda loud and crowded, more of a takeout place too me, so many great vegan and vegetarian options, would come back here a thousand times.

Julie B.

Yelp
Staying in Durango after being on the road for 4 days and having so much heavy food along the way, I really wanted something lighter and healthier. Could not believe my luck in finding this gem not even two blocks from my motel. Seein gf that the owners of another highly rated local favorite opened this new concept, I knew I couldn't go wrong. A vegan heavenly delight!! There are three main menus ~ sandwiches, salads, bowls and sides of soup and Mac and cheese. I opted for the salad and sandwich combo and had the TLT - delicious tempeh and dill spread with all the toppings on delicious bread and the apple salad with the most amazing spiced cider dressing. Everything was prepared with care and attention to detail with toppings and such fresh (and local!) ingredients. I am 99% sure the bacon tempeh was made by the gal I met at the farmers market earlier that day. I wanted to come back the next day to try a soup and salad combo but, didn't plan my departure time right. I will be back, however, and hope their plan to franchise lands a location in Denver.

Robert F.

Yelp
This place is really great. We came to Durango for a couple of weeks and ate here 4 times. I can't decide which was my favorite sandwich: pulled pork, chicken salad or grilled ham & gruyere. The pulled pork had delicious slaw on it, which really accented the port nicely. The chicken salad is actually dill chicken salad, with the dill flavor very prominent. I found the flavor excellent. The grilled ham comes with a pepper jam that was great. It gave the sandwich a unique flavor. We'll definitely come back next time we're in town.

Kim M.

Yelp
I had an amazing salad. The maple balsamic dressing was a fun touch. I was easily accommodated with substitutions due to dietary restrictions. Staff was mostly good. They did forget my tofu and I'm not a fan of ordering at the counter places so for those I am giving 4 stars.

Kerry T.

Yelp
It took me a long time to go here, and now I can't stop going. It's a great lunch and a healthy but delicious option. Salad and sand which combo, always a win!

Sarah H.

Yelp
Ooh I'm going to be thinking about this place when I go back home to Arizona. Why oh why can't we have something like this in Tucson. I loved the option of half portions. Everything we had was so delicious, especially the pea and asparagus bowl I ordered. Great service, very easy going and quick turnaround. Will absolutely be back next time we're in town.

John F.

Yelp
A friend of a friend recommended Sage Farm Fresh Eats when we told her we were heading to Durango on vacation, and so we stopped in and enjoyed our food so much that we came back again...and again...eating there three times in the span of four days. The place is set up in an "assembly line" format so that they build your food for you as you go, though with some items, you'll just order and head directly to the other side of the counter to pay while they make it for you--such as with the two pulled pork sandwiches I ordered over the span of our trip. Can I stop for a moment to talk about that? Their specialty is the Porchetta Pulled Pork, which you can have as a sandwich or as a meat added to other dishes. I was in love from the first bite. It's pulled pork meets Italian seasonings, and it is absolutely amazing. The other version, BBQ (sort of a peach BBQ), is delicious as well, but I was especially won over by the Porchetta version. Either is amazing with their Fennel Slaw. (Trust me, I don't even like fennel, and it was perfect on the pork.) I had my first sandwich as part of the Sage Duo, which allows you to have more than one item in a single meal. The other half of that meal was the Summer Berry Salad, which was super fresh, tasty, and not too sweet, as so many fruity salads tend to be. My wife loved the salad as well, which she paired with the Cremini Bowl, something she also thoroughly enjoyed. At another meal, she ordered the broccoli cheese soup and found it to be heavenly. Most everything comes with your choice of chips or focaccia bread (which is what the sandwiches are made with). And if you haven't had enough focaccia by the time you are done, you can grab an entire, huge slab of it for $4. Yes, that's right, $4. The service, by the way, is super friendly. The restaurant itself has a moderate amount of seating and could perhaps use just a tad more light on the end furthest from the windows. But that's being super picky. This place is a must-stop on any trip to Durango, and it certainly will be for us from this point forward.

Randall H.

Yelp
Did a search for vegetarian and this came up. Although my wife did add chicken to her bowl. The staff was welcoming and quick (there were a lot of them) with service. We really enjoyed the menu and I got a 1/2 med bowl and 1/2 salad. My wife did 1/2 salad and 1/2 chicken salad sandwich. The focaccia bread was FRESH and tasty. I drank an "arnold palmer" with their black tea and a splash of lemonade. I will return since it was good, reasonably priced, fresh and I have a lot of menu left to explore.

Milissa S.

Yelp
Delicious, nutritious food with great prices. The staff were very friendly and the dining area was nice and clean. I wish there was one in every town!! Bravo!!

Kevin M.

Yelp
We had a great lunch here. They make you a salad anyway you like. Nice homemade dressings also.

Rachael H.

Yelp
Yum! After reading the reviews and the menu, we popped in for a late lunch. Hubs and I each got a 1/2 sammie and cup of soup (ham/Gruyère and coconut cauliflower curry for me; pulled pork and chicken soup for my man). It was the perfect amount and I actually had to take some to go. Fresh, delicious food; friendly staff. My only small gripe is the cleanliness of the eating area. Perhaps they had a lunch rush and hadn't had time to tidy up. Other than that, we enjoyed this cute spot and would definitely go back if we're in town again.

Tonya C.

Yelp
Food was Alright. Nothing that would make us want to go back for. Servers were the rudest... killed the experience for us. Cool atmosphere and set- up. It could do so much better !!!!

Jason B.

Yelp
Outstanding food! The ingredients are fresh and the menu is innovative. I had the Thai peanut salad. I came in towards the end of the day and the staff was friendly but focused on closing? It wasn't a big deal but it was confusing to order without being greeted. The restaurant is nice but the chairs are tippy if you step on the front of them.

Martha M.

Yelp
This was a great little place. Cranberry chicken salad on homemade bread and a really good salad with a yummy dressing. Everything really was very fresh. And very flavorful. Nice service as well

Christiane P.

Yelp
Once again, killin' it! This place is on fire in all of the right ways. The crew and food are both amazing.

Ken K.

Yelp
Great having this fresh clean food option in Durango, Co. This was one of our favorite places to eat.

Byron C.

Yelp
Fresh salads, sandwiches, soup in a quick service setting. Some beer available. High quality, would definitely return.

John M.

Yelp
Four and a half, not five only because it is an order at the counter style. Lots of healthy options, friendly, good value, generous portions.
