"Sage: Vegan Fun for Everyone If you didn't know before you dug into your meal, you might not realize that every item on Sage's menu is vegan (a nicebonus for parents eating with kids). The jackfruit or tempeh tacos are so good many devoted carnivoreschoose to get their Mexican food fix hereover local nonvegan Mexican joints. Sagealso makes excellentvegan burgers, potato flautas, and salads filled with great crunchy textures and pops of flavor. I love the atmosphere at night. Breezy and the dim lights give it a cozy feel. The food was all organic and you can taste the realness of the food. The cauliflower was good but not great. The batter wasn’t crispy. My wife loved the burger, but I don’t like sweet burgers. I had the wrap and it was delicious.

Sage Bali is truly a magnificent place. We have had an incredible experience; it’s not just a cafe but a platform for community and heartfelt communication. We reached during afternoon hours and didn’t realize where the day passed and left at the time of the closing. It’s a vegan cafe where they choose local and organic ingredients. They source organic seeds and have an organic farm from where they source the majority of their produce. They make everything they can in-house, by hand, and from scratch. The good part is that they even compost their green waste from the restaurant and use it in their farm and gardens. All their frying is done in coconut oil with conventional ovens, no microwaves. The cooking is done in stainless steel and cast iron, and they have UV filters on all the taps throughout their kitchen and bar. It’s an absolute feeling of contentment, peace, and happiness to be here. This place will surely become our go-to place when in Ubud, Bali. This vegan spot is a delight. Simply amazing, and we are in awe of the atmosphere here.

One of my favourite vegan spots in Ubud and definitely the most affordable! Their tempeh buffalo wings are insanely good as well as the burritos. Lots of choice of cakes too. Service is extremely quick. Love this place!

My favorite cafe in Bali! The food is delicious, they have gluten free options, and the atmosphere is relaxed and calming. The hazelnut gluten free chocolate cake is my go to!

I have been to this cafe 3 out of 6 days i’ve been in ubud now and I LOVE the food! Two of the times, i’ve ordered their jackfruit asada burrito (~80k) it tastes so similar to meat (I am not actually vegan but my friend is) and ordered the fries on top too which tastes great (Didn’t really enjoy the sauce it came with so used the sauce that came with the wrap.) Other great menu Items i’ve tried and loved - Moringa soup - Jamu - California burrito, comes with fries inside. - The teriyaki bowl(70k), - Cookies (35k for two) with thte flavour of oatmeal or choc chip - Coconut layer cake - THIS IS HEAVENLY! i NEED to come back for this - Overall all tastes amazing. They also sell some incense and other health products, the cafe is spacious and has fans. Each cutlery set also comes with a meaningful quote or message for you to reflect on. Note - no aircon Highly recommend this vegan joint!

We love coming to Sage when we are in Ubud, away from the hustle and bustle of the main area, near the monkey forest - a little vegan oasis! Everything we have eaten is delicious, their breakfast menu especially! So much thought and care put into the flavours and it’s relatively cheap considering the quality. Lovely staff as well!

On a previous trip to Ubud we went here four times, on this trip we went twice and loved everything we ordered. We have not been able to find another coconut cake that matches Sage’s.

Came for breakfast and had the breakfast sandwich that was actually served in a bun 😅 but it was good and the matcha latte could have been a bit stronger but overall good. Waitress was very nice 👍🏼
