A nice beach that isn't overly crowded. Sagg Main has lavatories and a lunch cart at the bottom of the entrance. The daily permit fee is $40. Lifeguards leave at 5p. Make sure you bring your own umbrellas, tents, blankets, chairs, etc., as there are no rental options at this beach. For on-beach activity, the beach does have volleyball nets. Enjoy your day of rest and relaxation!

Sagg Main Beach is a beautiful stretch of shoreline with soft, white sand and stunning ocean views. Nature lovers will appreciate the abundance of coastal birds, including herring gulls, piping plovers, sandpipers, and terns. The waves here can be strong, and rip tides are possible, so swimming requires caution. Amenities include clean bathrooms and an outdoor shower for rinsing off after a day in the surf. A small concession truck in the parking lot sells drinks, ice cream, and candy—cash only. Parking in the lot is limited to Sag Harbor residents with proof of residency, but street parking is available nearby if you don’t mind a short walk. Overall, it’s a picturesque and well-kept beach that’s definitely worth a visit.

Such a beautiful secluded beach! I think you need a Southampton Town permit though during the season.

Amazing little beach off of Water Mill. Beautiful and quiet.

Please keep dogs away from the mudflats. Shorebirds have very limited places to feed and breed - it’s do or die. Be respectful. Also it’s illegal and you can be fined

Amazing beach, we saw a group of dolphins traveling and their were fishes everywhere! This beach is lively, it has a lot of wild life on it. The waves were pretty unforgiving when we were there but thats nature, nature is metal.

Monday nights at 6:30 drum circle. It’s a thing. Be there. Bring some chairs. Some beach friendly drink and chill. Fun for kids too.
